I thought they did good work and I would use them again. However, they came out onve to fix the issue with the hose in the fridge and then it started leaking so they came back out and told us it was a different issue and they charged us both times, I did not understand why they did not just fix the hose the first time, however I would use them again.

I called about the problem on Monday, and a repairman came that same day. I was told that the service call would be $79.99, but if we went ahead with the repair, that charge would be waived (or folded into the total cost). He diagnosed the problem as most likely the computer control unit, and quoted us a cost of $507.55, saying that Whirpool had been raising prices on its parts as much as 40% per year recently, and he mentioned a price of over $380 for the part. His local supplier had one in stock, and the service man came back the next day and installed it. The problem was still there. That meant it was the other circuit board -- the motor control unit. He found an available board and came back on Wednesday and installed it, solving the problem. He told us that the cost of the second board was the same as the cost of the first. He did not remove the first board that he installed, but he did not charge us for two boards -- we did pay the price originally quoted.

There was confusion after the first repair attempt about what we would be paying for -- the repairman told us we had to pay for the board he'd first installed even though it wasn't needed -- it didn't fix the problem. I thought we should have to pay only a restocking fee. The repairman told us the second board would be supplied "free" -- but he explanation for why didn't make sense to me. I called the office, and they simply contacted the repairman and told him to call us and clear it up. He repeated that we'd get the repair done at the original quote, basically getting two boards for the price of one (but only one of the boards was needed).

So, the service was excellent, but I have my doubts about the pricing and pricing method. The bill I received did not itemize parts and labor. I think the company should quote parts and labor separately, so we know what we're paying for. 

If not for the doubts about the parts pricing and handling of parts, I would happily give this company an A.

It went very well. He was really professional. My freezer had to be looked at because it had its repair light on and he fixed it for no charge. He came exactly on time, was very helpful, gave a quote, and I think he applied the charge after he did the work. Overall, he was very good. I thought the price was right in the ball park.

They have a set price per appliance to do the work. I personally like that. We have used them for repairing several other appliances. They know how to fix things and suggest replacement rather than a costly repair when needed.

On the first visit the owner and an employee could not figure out what was wrong with the unit and devised a possible fix literally involving duct tape, which only worked for a few weeks. When the unit malfunctioned again, the employee (Brian) came back out and took the entire unit apart, finding a way to bypass the design errors causing the problem. He worked for quite a long time in high heat and asked me to call in a week to let him know if he had fixed the problem or if he needed to return a third time. At this time, the unit is working exactly as needed.

THE REPAIR MAN WAS PROFESSIONAL AND COURTEOUS. HE BROUGHT HIS OWN MAT FOR THE DOOR AND PLACED COVERS OVER HIS SHOES. HE PERFORMED THE WORK QUICKLY AND EVEN TOOK TIME TO GIVE ADVICE ON ANOTHER PROBLEM.

HAVE ALSO REPAIRED OUR DISHWASHER AND OVEN IN THE PAST. HAVE ALWAYS BEEN EXTREMELY POLITE, PROMPT AND DID THE JOB RIGHT THE FIRST TIME. DIDN'T REALLY COMPARE PRICING WITH OTHER COMPANIES BECAUSE WHEN THEY'VE COME OUT FOR THE ESTIMATE I HAVE THEM DO THE WORK INSTEAD OF COMPARISON SHOPPING.
