I feel I should write two reviews:
The A Team:
On the first day I had a good team. They finished the work upstairs and there was little mess. The did a few of the downstairs repairs and prepped the ceilings for texturing the next day. There is always some small over spray within a foot or so of the repair but they masked everything and any mess was cleaned on the final day.
The B Team:
On the second day I could tell that everyone was in a rush. They seamed to mask everything and did the repairs. They left the house in much more of a mess. That evening after things dried a bit I noticed thousands of small white dots on all of the walls, ceilings, front door, blinds, floor (not the carpet where they did mask), flower arrangement, and anything else within 20 feet of a repair. I called the office to complain. I was told that it "just wipes off" and that someone would come over in the morning to finished the work and finish the cleanup.
I am perfectly willing to some cleanup and repainting, but this was ridiculous. As an example. I had two repairs in an exercise room with tile on the floor. One was done on day one and one was done on day two. Both repairs were to fix a 1 inch square cutout that an alarm installer left. The first repair had over spray a foot away that could be sanded and painted. After the final cleanup on the third day, the second repair still had over spray everywhere. The ceiling, blinds, windows, floor, exercise equipment in the room all had dots. It looked like this room missed its final cleanup. There was still tape covering the light switch.
Day Three:
On the third day someone was sent to clean. He was upset that there was so much over spray and spent many hours trying to clean the dots up -- especially on the 27 foot high walls. He sent pictures to his boss to complain about the "B" team's bad work. The problem with the cleanup is that I do not have flat, white walls. My walls are satin finish gray and the dots and the haze still shows after cleaning.
For the past week I have been sanding and painting the repairs and finding all of the white dots I could not see from ground level. I have had to paint nearly four times the wall area that I had planned to cover the dots and cleanup haze.
Customer Support:
There was one area where the texture as not done well. I emailed twice through Angie's list for someone to touch up the one area that was not textured very well. They have not responded. I even offered to pay for the touch up and no one will respond. I am disappointed that after they received my check they just gave up on trying to make me happy.
I have tried to be reasonable with the extra work the "B" team's mess has caused and have waiting a week so I could write a more fair review.
Make sure you get the "A" team and do not count on any customer service after you write the check!
"[Member Name Removed] please check your message I called you and told you we would be happy to come and take care of the repairs you were not happy with at no charge are customer service is very important to us and it isn't just about collecting a check that is why you didn't pay us a dime until job was completed. Your job had repairs everywhere so over spray is going to happen in some cases if there is anything I can do to help you further please let me know thank you Chris Moyers"
I will say Chris was professional in my short experience with him & also arrived on time. As a courtesy, I would have appreciated a quick phone call to let me know he was unable to complete this particular job. It was the only company I initially called, so I had to scramble to find someone new.
"[removed member name] I'm so sorry for dropping the ball on you guys the only thing I can think that happened is I went on vacation and coming home from vacation I was over extended in having to catch up I do apologize and if there is anything I can do to make this up I would love the opportunity I know when you lose faith in a company it's very hard to regain again I'm so sorry Chris Moyers"
