We worked with Holtzman Remodeling for a home renovation project, and honestly, I can’t say enough good things. From the very beginning, they were super easy to talk to — they really listened to what we wanted and helped us bring it to life. They handled our kitchen remodel, both bathrooms, and new flooring, and every part of the process felt smooth and stress-free. The crew was always respectful of our space, showed up on time, and cleaned up at the end of each day — which I really appreciated since we were living in the house during the work.

The crew was great and professional.The communication throughout the project was fantastic. I would highly recommend them for any home projects.

We would not recommend Holtzman Remodeling, formally Holtzman Home Improvement. If you want a long and frustrating remodel then these are your guys. I can not stress enough the multitude of mistakes (some major ones), time delays (6 months turned into 18 months), and miscommunications. It simply is not worth cleaning up after their mistakes - literally and figuratively. I don not often give reviews however I don& not want someone to go thru what we did. Chose wisely.

Holtzman made my kitchen remodel extremely smooth and easy! They were very attentive with the work and made sure to check in with me during the whole process, definitely will be using them again in the future.

Holtzman did my kitchen after it flooded, from the sales meeting to running project it went great and they got it done quick so we could get back to real life!

I recently worked with Holtzman Homes on a master bathroom renovation, and unfortunately, my experience did not meet expectations. While their initial sales pitch emphasized a strong in-house design team and a quick turnaround of 6-8 weeks, the project ultimately took 5 months from demolition to complete and 8 months total from the deposit date. There were several issues with the execution of the project. The shower was installed 3 inches narrower than the design specifications, many no shows in scheduling with resulted in additional costs to have pets out of the house, and no clean up of the job. There is zero customer service to respond to these issues. Due to zero customer service from Holtzman, I cannot recommend them for home remodeling projects.

TLDR: our project has been a nightmare from start to finish. Everyone in the office are incompetent liars. To start, their sales manager, Rob, lied to us about the project timeline, the cost of the project, and then proceeded to refer to our job as a "chicken **** job" when we said we were starting to get frustrated. They sent their operation manager, Nick, to "deal with us". He seemed nice enough, but has been unable to do his job well. We signed the contract with them on 09/30/24 and were told our children's bathroom would be started on 10/31/2024. We completed all of our design and fixture choices within a week of the contract signing. When nobody showed up for demo that day, we called to find out what happened. Turns out that Rob completely forgot to schedule our job. This caused an immediate two week delay. We were originally told this bathroom would be completed by Thanksgiving. It is now 12/30/24 and all we have to show for this hell we have been through is a gutted

Working with Holtzman Home Improvement was a very successful and enjoyable experience. They were professional, responsive and trily cared about the quality of their work! I highly recommend them!

We hired Holtzman in May 2022. It took till May 2023 for it to start. Its still NOT COMPLETED. After complaining about bogus charges some credits were issued. However, they added more bogus charges for work not completed, charges never quoted, etc. to consume most of the credits. This tactic is to force us into accepting bogus charges or not get the refunds owed! This is fraudulent as the credits are actually refunds from product exchanges, paid change orders, etc. If the salesperson at anytime walks through the office points at you and says They like to spend money. Or says the same to you in a private office. RUN AS FAST AS YOU CAN.Ways they drive up the cost is by doing work that is not needed. We removed a lot of drywall due to a leak. Rather than remove the remaining drywall they reinstalled drwall then cement board on top. For starters its impossible to level a wall properly so that it lasts and supports the tile without removing the old drywall.Because they installed cement board on top of drywall it created a lip at the top about 2 short from where the tile ends . When the top 2 of tile was installed. Rather than remove the existing drywall and doing the same at the top. They installed tile on top of tile on top of 30 year old painted wallpaper! As the adhesive fails the tile will fall off. We used marble tile! The top 2 of tile isnt in a straight line. The tile doesnt begin and end in the same place on the wall. They didnt install any waterproofing on the shower pan or the bench. The doorway Brandon said could be widened and raised should not have been done. Now we know why the door was never installed. The doorway has to be rebuilt and a smaller door used. They never installed the kitchen trim or the shower fixtures. They refused to take possession of damaged shower fixtures. The shower arms didnt match so we purchased new ones. Since Holtzman would not take possession of the fixtures we had to return them. But, weve not been refunded for them. We purchased new shower arms and kitchen trim as well. Have not recieved credit from Holtzman. We still have outlets hanging out of the walls, no trim in kitchen, no closet door, no trim in the toilet room, closet, or a functioning shower. We were also charged for the wrong trim tile at double the cost and for way more than was needed. In all we are owed more than $15,000 in cash from Holtzman! Finding contractors willing to finish and fix another companys project is difficult to say the least. I have photos to prove all of it! They can change thier name to Holtzman Remodeling and hire a marketing company to post, repost or copy content from other sites. But, it does not change anything. Try spending money on educating your workers and your selves. Spend money on learning about products and materials. The finished product can look good and still be constructed incorrectly & voiding the product warranty! They want you to believe they can save you money. Yet do everything to drive up the price all while using cheap materials. They even name products by name then charge for cheaper products without crediting the difference. Brandon Holtzman was our superintendant yet he never supervised anything. He came to our house twice! They use subcontractors but advertise as using employees. The subcontractors NEVER visit the site prior to product selections, provide guidance on materials, point out problems, or design issues. Designers never visit the site. The biggest problem is Holtzman knows they can screw people over because nobody will remove the layers to prove anything. But, we can go from the back to prove it. I did a full remodel. I had a very strict deadline and Holtzman Homes delivered!!! I was very impressed with Holtzman homes. Excellent craftsmanship, great design team, wonderful customer service and genuinely GOOD honest humans! Highly recommend!

Hired Holtzman for the second project, once again they nailed my expectations. My kitchen had flooded and didnâ t have much options but full remodel and needed it done asap as I have wife and kids and we had nowhere else to stay. They came in and designed and put me into production fast as they could and pulled all punches to get me completed! And such an upgrade! Bad situation turned amazing and couldnâ t be happier! Iâ ll keep having Holtzman do all my future projects I need done!

Carlos did an excellent job working on all my plumbing needs. Bathroom fixtures, kitchen sink and gas lines. He was prompt and communicated throughout the process. Thanks Carlos!

They helped create a vision that they could not execute. They sold a dream of my project being completed in 2 months per contract and they delivered a 5 month nightmare. They couldnâ t even complete a pocket door in 5 months with 4 of those months being unlimited access, since I could not live in my house during the process. My dad had to finish the pocket door due to their endless incompetence. On top of that, they didnâ t even offer to give me money back. Every trade has no idea whatâ s going on or they require interpretation services for clarification. Everything they touched they had to be touched twice to try to get it right. They are never on time due to illness or working on projects even though I waited 4 months for them to start. They also told me they have to give my townhome community a 48 hour notice of a water shut off by law, yet I was given an 18 hour notice. When I questioned the notice discrepancy, it was then spun around asking me if I wanted to delay my project and even said he hoped he wasnâ t being recorded. The AROC highly frown upon breaking laws. I had to cut out numerous projects because I knew they were not capable of completing them. I sent an email out within 2 months of my concern, and they assured me their company was competent. The owner Brandon didnâ t even reply. They donâ t care about you, only your money. If you want to save thousands to stress more than this is the company for you! Good luck!

Do not use this company. They over promise and under deliver. Scheduling is a nightmare, they do not show up or do show up but do not have needed supplies on hand. If zero stars was an option, that is what I would give them. Save your money and time and go elsewhere.

Alvaro Lopez just completed the rough in of my master bathroom which entailed removing the old pipe, replacing the pipe drain line (which was underground), replacing the old supple lines, repositioning the main drain line, sink lines, toilet lines and positioning the main drain for the secondary bathroom. He tested the function of the plumbing (no leaks) before refilling the hole. Alvaro’s work was clean, neat and exceptional. I would not hesitate, to recommend Alvaro, for any and all plumbing needs!

This company does amazing work. They are very time efficient and always showed up when they said they would. Their craftsmanship was very professional, and they had a lot of attention to detail. Later in the year they are going to do a kitchen remodel for me, and I am very excited to see the finished product. I would 100% recommend this company.

This was a major renovation project and Holtzman was responsive, professional and always responded to any of my inquiries or concerns. Their work is high quality and of there was ever anything in question or required additional attention the companies owner would come and take care of it immediately! I have redone my entire home both interior and exterior and the interior is gorgeous and was done with precise attention to detail and that is because of Holtzman. Where as my backyard hardscape and pool have been under construction for two years and the contractor is MIA! If you want a job done well and to enjoy the process, hire Holtzman.

Outstanding customer service

Mismanaged, Incredibly frustrating and disappointing The short version. Nothing is on time, constant problems, trades needed to be told what to do every time, high turn over with lots of lost time. Zero quality control or review from PMs. 3 month project took a year. No supply delays, no covid delays, just mismanaged from day one. The long version. Our Kitchen remodel began in July 2022 and was a $120k remodel. Not small, not cheap. Project was contracted for demo to begin in November 2022, finishing February 2023, but it became clear by mid August, less than a month after signing a contract and depositing a large amount of money, that November timeline was not a reality. No one internally talks to each other. I spent weeks going back and forth with one department saying they canâ t order cabinets until demolition is complete, the other saying they canâ t demo till cabinets are on site. Months lost. No one would listen, no one would call us back about this issue. Weâ d open tickets in their support portal, only to have them closed by the owner with no response. Demo was on time. That was the only thing on time ever. After our home was demoed, including ceilings, everything sat for weeks. We moved out and this was wasted time as we paid for a rental home. HVAC delayed the progress by weeks, never showing up, and on the 3rd scheduled time, they didnâ t have any supplies to do the job. Had to come back another week later. Most trades showed up with very little understanding of the task, always had to go buy supplies, and that usually took hours for the Home Depot down the road. Little regard for security. We had a trade rummaging through our garage and boxes. I shared 8 minutes of ring camera footage. I demanded answers from leadership. Pm told me â he was looking for a lighterâ . For 8 minutes, in tool chests, boxes of our things, etc. I do not think anything was taken, but leadershipâ s lack of response was telling. We had to resort to adding locks and deadbolts to our doors for non work areas. Massive delays from lack of PM/supervisor oversight. Custom doors were ordered and done quickly but took months to get a PM to go look and see something was ordered wrong. Again, holding up the job as drywall and flooring needed these installed. Lots of messes to clean up. Trash in our yard, drywall team got plaster on windows, blinds, light fixtures, doors, carpeting, etc with no attempt to protect non work areas. $30k worth of cabinetry and I had to request multiple times for doors and drawers to be aligned and installed straight. I resorted to fixing many myself after the fact. I had to have electrical back several times to finish outlets hanging out of the walls. Holes in drywall where vents were removed but not patched, despite drywall being â doneâ . If I didnâ t catch these things, no one at Holtzman wouldnâ t have. Our kitchen looks good, but for the money, pain and suffering I wish weâ d choose someone else. We chose Holtzman over others because the timeline and promises how well they manage things. Typical sales process where none of that was true, and no one could be honest with us, no one apologizes, and leadership seems to be setting that tone.
