I have worked with Holtzman on many projects over the past 14 years. most recently they did a 400 SF addition including adding a bathroom. Brandon and his team are honest and deliver a quality product at a fare price. I will continue to work with and recommend Holtzman.

THIS COMPANY IS BY FAR THE WORST COMPANY I HAVE DEALT WITH! First we were given a 3 month timeline for an addition we are currently over 12 months and not completed. Below is my review: â ¢ They have a huge scheduling issue where they only schedule 1 trade a week to complete a task even if it is a very small or short task. o They demoed our bathroom and didnt show up for another 5 weeks! â ¢ Next the owners will insult you and even do some borderline illegal activity by missing items in the line item scope of work, even though it is stated in the APPROVED original plans, then submit a change order to you saying that if you want it you need to approve the change order. This happened 3 times to us, and we were blamed because we didnt analyze each line in detail of the 37 Page document. For example the APPROVED architect plans called to move a window, well they forgot to include that in the Statement of work and submitted a change order to move the window for me to pay because they forgot increasing the overall original budget on the other side they forgot to put in glass showers in the original contract, completed the work and now trying to bully me into approving the Change order and pay more! â ¢ They cheap out on you and try to complete the project as cheap as possible if you dont question things. For example, in the beginning of our floor project we told them we wanted continuous floors and no transition pieces well they built the addition floor about 1.25 Inches lower and try to sell us on a HUGE tripping hazard transition piece. They fought us every step of the way with leveling out the floor. We finally had them raise the floor but instead of reframing the interior doors to the standard 80 inches height they cut the doors making the opening 75 Inches (6.2Ft) which was another fight to complete. â ¢ Next they will complete work on a missed line item and submit a change order after the fact and try to bully you into paying for it. We went through 3 Supervisors during the entire project and never received a full schedule that included a projected competition date. (I had to put one together and submit to Brandon) I had to call the ROC multiple times to get them moving â ¢ We had to call multiple material suppliers to get delivery status updates to move the project along even though that should be the responsibility of Holtzman. I had to even schedule my own pool pipe company to move pipes. â ¢ After a 3-month flooring delay with one of their suppliers, they held our floors â hostage on a trailer in the driveway and insulted my wife repeatedly until I paid half of the payment, even though the payment schedule states payment due at start of flooring! â ¢ Brandon and Joe start out as your friends and really motivated at first â acting buddy, buddy but will cheap out on you and lie behind your back our insult you because you should have caught the issues in the statement of work. â ¢ Rob is not to be trusted he is a â car salesman he will sell you the moon with a price tag and then forget to include line items. Then midway through your project Holtzman will add in lines to â complete the project increasing the overall cost. I am currently working with the ROC (Register of Contractors) and I hope to god no one has to go through what I am still going through!

Did an excellent job on my Kitchen and Bath remodel! Was upfront on timing, budget, and payments. Offers a 5-year warranty. Even has a customer service department that was very responsive to any issues I have. Highly recommend this company. Well worth the money spent.

They gave me all I needed and answered.

The entire team was fantastic!! From the sales team to design team to construction team and job foreman. All were attentive to our wants and needs and worked hard to ensure we were happy with the project. Canâ t wait to have them back to tackle another update project next year!

Not enough room.

The bathroom remodel turned out beautiful. We are very happy with the bathroom remodel.

After my experience with Holtzman, I would not use anyone else for any future home improvement project! They did a complete remodel of the shower in our master bathroom. We now have a fully digital, tiled Kohler shower system complete with three showerheads and two sets of body sprays. I obtained an estimate from another contractor before Holtzman. That company subcontracts all of the work; the actual estimate was delayed because they had trouble contacting all of the required subcontractors. The fact that all of Holtzman s workers are employees clinched the deal! The quality and attention to detail were much superior to any of my previous experiences! Each part of the project - design, demo, carpentry, plumbing, insulation & waterproofing, electrical, electronics, tile work, drywall, painting, glass installation - was completed with expertise and care. The workers were always polite and respectful of persons and property! Need I say more? We are very pleased!

Excellent top notch customer service and work!

Their communications were very limited. Pantry for the kitchen remodel was never ordered. They dragged their feet on every step. Always felt like we were a waste of their time.

They did an outstanding job remodeling our bathroom. All that had a part in the remodel were professional and helpful. Curtis and Gary were quick to respond to all my questions. I have to share that the individuals working in our home would even bring in our packages that were delivered! It was Christmas time so I really appreciate the deliveries being brought in the house. Brandon you have a great crew!!!! If I could share before and after photos I would. Needless to say I love the bathroom. Thank you!!

Extremely happy with Holtzman Home Improvement. Had master bath and kitchen remodeled. Great communication through the whole process so we knew what to expect at each stage of construction. It looks so beautiful! I cannot believe this is my house.

Hired this company back in 2017 and just now came across this request for a review. Holtzman was one of the worst remodel experiences. Their delays in scheduling and getting the work completed was unacceptable. They quoted a starting time of 4 weeks from my initial deposit. Once they had my deposit they did not come out for another 8+ weeks to start the job. Then when they did finally come out they completed total demolition of my bathroom and then didnt come back for over a week. At each phase they took my deposit and then they would not come back to complete the work until I would get on the phone and threaten them. With numerous phone calls and fighting the work finally was completed. Fortunately the work quality was good, but the price and headache it was not worth the trouble. Look for another contractor!

We hired Holtzman to help us remodel are kitchen and we couldn't be happier with the final results! They were with us every step of the way from our initial meeting, through selections, into demo, and install. They have a very professional staff with in-house workers in every trade. Each trade worked with each other to make our kitchen dreams come true. I cannot wait to show off our new design. I would highly recommend using Holtzman for any remodel needs!

Highly competent and professional company were have ever hired. Mike provided constant oversight and communicated project status on a regular basic. We like the fact that this was a family owned business. The owners are so professional. We received calls from Judy asking how are project was going and always made sure we were happy. If there were any issues or if she could help with anything along the way. Their employees are top notch. Each one of them took care of our home like it was there own. clean and professional in every way. The workmanship and quality you wont find better any were. This company finished on time on scheduled and with in budget. Don't Hire any other company then this company. The best in Arizona by far 2

UPDATE: 12/20/2019-In acknowledgement to Holtzman response to my review: *I have documentation showing a start date of 11/17/2018 and documentation showing completion date of 04/27/2019. The timeline I stated does NOT include time needed for warranty work. *Project was not completed in HHI estimated 6-8 weeks. *Also, the specific materials that HHI is referring to is our medicine cabinets that they do not provide so we had to select and order our own separately from Wayfair. Designer provided wrong measurements which caused significant delay in the project. ORIGINAL REVIEW: *I would like to give a 1-Star review but to be fair, I will give a 2-star review because the job was completed. PROS:*Bathroom remodel was completed. CONS: *We were given a timeline of 6-8 weeks for project completion but ended up taking 5 months and 20 days. *In contract, the introduction page says that Brandon Holtzman will personally meet you and visit your job site several times throughout your project to ensure quality and care is not only in the workmanship but also in our demeanor. Never met the man; not even once. *Designer which they refer to as sales-person, had a hard time keeping up with the demands of our project. Made numerous mistakes in terms of measurements that caused wrong products to be ordered and mistakes in the actual remodel. Assumed certain details about project without consulting us. Example: Cabinet above toilet was bigger than expected (inaccurate measurements) and overlapped on to the exhaust fan, Sales-Person assumed that we were just going to move the exhaust fan altogether; this would have cost us hundreds of dollars to move the fan 2-3 inches. *Crew would show up whenever, sometimes not at all even though scheduled. Had crew show up at 6am without notice multiple times. Had to state over and over again for a start time that worked for my family; between 7-8am. Nothing ridiculous. No consistency whatsoever. *Some of the crew did not speak English, which I absolutely did not mind at all. But project manager, sales person, did not speak the language. I never expected to be the sole translator numerous times in person and on the phone. Because of this language barrier, numerous mistakes were made on our project. *Crew would come to job site and not know the status of our project, therefore would ask me questions about what needed to be done, as well as certain technical details that only a professional would know (example: electrical). *Crew would come to job unprepared and would leave to go to Home Depot for 1+ hours to grab material. Not sure if this is standard, but I believe that they should have been prepared for the days work at our project. *Overpriced. Example: Updated replacement of bathroom exhaust fan that was picked up at Home Depot and which was less than an hour to install, cost almost $400.00. I used the Home Depot app on my phone to scan the box which showed the price of the exhaust fan between $45 - $55. *Project manager forgot to discuss details of our project to team so there were details that were left out. Example: Requested to have a shower bench installed; shower was completed with no shower bench. *Project manager and sales-person should have communicated more in terms of our project details; numerous mistakes could have been avoided. *Low quality of materials: tile/grout. Numerous tiles are cracked, chipped, and grout has already started to come out in chunks. Also, grout that was never wiped off, has solidified and will not come off. *Already have water damage; yes, water damage in a bathroom on a pony wall that neither the project manager and sales-person gave input on how to finish to avoid said water damage. *Was double charged, and charged for work not done. Caught mistakes by thoroughly reviewing receipt and was reimbursed. If I did not catch these details we would have easily been overcharged. *Strongly DO NOT recommend

I hired Holtzman to replace a shower in my new condo. This is the first major project that I have completed in the condo, and I was very nervous. I know next to nothing about plumbing or remodels, so finding a reputable, honest company was very important to me. I am very happy that I chose Holtzman to complete my project. Every interaction that I had with the employees of Holtzman was excellent. The Saleswoman, Kristine was not pushy like the salespeople from other companies that I got estimates from, and the estimate was fair. The project manager, David was always friendly, and I felt comfortable with him in charge of the project. When there was an issue, Brandon called me personally the day that it happened and he fixed it- I did not even have to argue!! My new shower is gorgeous, and I will definitely be recommending Holtzman to all of my family and friends. They are a very trustworthy company, and I am glad that I found them.
