Mayo Clinic - Scottsdale

By the time I came to Mayo Clinic, I had just about given up that any physician could help me. But after the care I've received from many different doctors, and I felt like a weight was lifted. Dr. Mamby told me ther were not going to just treat my heart, but they were going to treat the whole package, which I really appreciate.

He practices at the Mayo Clinic. When I went here, I had just about given up, and then we came here, and I felt like a weight was lifted. When I originally came to him, my lungs were filling with fluid. He walked me through the hospital to see how my breathing was. And then after treatment when I was feeling better, he walked me around again, to see how I'd improved.

She is assisting me with weight loss. She works with you, and she is a great physician.

Sugery went well. Doctor and nursing were attentive. Discharged to home after days. One negative experience during my stay was when my Physical Therapist suggested to my nurse, that I be given a particular medication for pain, when I mentioned my pain. I had been diagnosed as allergic to that particular medication post-surgery and if I hadn't been alert, I might have been given that medication again, in error.

I was very pleased with the service, the environment, the promptness, the attention to detail and the referrals to other needed services within Mayo Clinic.

The doctor there is great and I was really impressed. She took the time and drew diagrams of things when it wasn't quite clear to me. She was really thorough. They tell me that the doctor doesn't have e-mail or voice mail and that I would have to leave any messages with her secretary. I have done that twice and the doctor never got the messages. They call you and send letters to inform about upcoming appointments and what you need to do, but I am unhappy that you can't reach the doctor with a message. There should be some way I could leave a message that the doctor could hear or read for herself and not a go-between.

Excellent as always. The staff really pays attention to patterns, habits and the needs of the patient.

He is wonderful. I cannot speak enough about him. I can trust my life with them. He is complete in the knowledge base and the whole process that they offer.

She is extremely happy with them. She goes there for blood test and they get back to her with results. It is a premier medical care. They are the best around. The office environment is good.

From pre consultation to post surgery follow up, all of th procedures has gone extremely well and the doctors take extra care to visit and advice. They are never in a rush and provide full attention to you. The staff is very friendly and prompt as well as well experienced.

They do not accept medicare at all. I was informed by their telephone receptionist they discontinued medicare patients "about two years ago". This, in my opinion, is something the government should not allow!!

They are very thorough. They have got the best doctors and coordinated care. They are able to communicate with each other really well depending on who I am visiting. I might see them for a sports foot injury, and that person will communicate really well with my primary care physician. Their overall technological capabilities are really impressive. I would continue to use them in the future.

They are absolutely first rate and do a great job. I would give them all A’s.

Sometimes the doctors at the Clinic will have office hours at the Hospital. The Clinic and the Hospital are like hand and glove. The Clinic is in Scottsdale and the Hospital is in Phoenix.

The Mayo Clinic is excellent, absolutely excellent. They are efficient and on time. The doctors are thorough. If you need further work, the place is interdisciplinary. It's a fabulous establishment; I couldn't ask for anything better.

They follow up with me, get my bloodwork periodically. I go here once a year to have my kidney checked. I go each August.

I would recommend them to anyone. My husband worked for them so he has been on the system for a long time. I just became eligible to go on to their system. They've been great so far. I haven't done a patient visit, I have only done the preliminary stuff and they are on top of everything. My husband has been very well taken care off. I have known him for 6 years and he has been there for a long time. I would use them in future; actually, I am seeing them next week.

They might be a little pricier, but their care is very expert.

I am always pleased with the care I receive there. I have no dislikes. It is the best run and most conscientious and caring group that I have ever seen. They treat people from all over the world. I do not believe it is anymore costly. I think their services are worth every penny. I've seen a dermatologist, cardiologist, women's physician, primary care and orthopedics doctor there. I have been looked over pretty well. They are all connected and can have someone in another field look at something almost immediately. Their office environment is great. They are very, very good on their punctuality. Their staff friendiness is so good that I'm convinced they have to sign a contract when they are interviewed. It is just amazing. They don't rush you and they take the time needed with you. I think they have a great billing system and are very efficient. I will definitely use them again.

Everyone thinks they are wonderful. They have an excellent reputation and they live up to it. They are all professional and do everything they can to get you the best help possible. They are prompt and you don’t have to wait there when you go to see a doctor. I have a lot of anxiety and it feels good to be able to go somewhere and feel that you are getting the best care possible.

No matter what you have you can go to them, even if you don't have an appointment. You are allowed to wait until you are seen in any area. They will provide as much information as you need. Several of the individual departments have their own library.

She will take the necessary time to talk to me and answer all of my questions. She ask me if I have anything that is bothering me that she can help me with. She has a very good manner and takes the time to explain things thoroughly. The nurses that help her are very good and conscientious.

He spends time with you and he is very nice.

She is very thorough and personable. She takes her time with you and you don?t have to wait in her office. The staff is very patient oriented. I have no problems getting an appointment.

She performed a very thorough checkup that I have ever had and she also performed some biopsies.
