"We at Arizona cleanPROS always appreciate constructive feedback from our customers. This review, however, is neither constructive nor truthful. First of all the cleaning team did talk with this customer regarding the shower head and shampoo. The team also contacted our office as well. Our policy has always been to notify the customer ASAP if there is any breakage whatsoever. The cleaning team did not remove the shower head. It was a very old inexpensive shower head made of plastic that had not been cleaned for a very long time and was cracked in several places. The shower head literally fell off the pipe when the team tried to clean it. We gave this customer credit for the shower head even though we did not break or remove it. The cleaning team did drop a bottle of “Expensive” shampoo and the top cracked. Replacement price: $9.00 at Wal-Mart for the next larger size. Finally, this customer’s house was very dirty and we have the pictures to prove it. We give estimates based on the size of the home and the owner’s description as to the condition of the property. Our estimates are only as accurate as the truthfulness of the customer’s statements."
Five days later, my Realtor went to check on the property. I was very dismayed when he reported that the Condo had been left
unlocked by the cleaners.
Lets see, 1 hour 45 minutes late and failed to lockup when done. That equates to a poorly managed company that I would
never recommend.
This was the second service I used on Angie's List and very disappointed.
"We at Arizona cleanPROS are disappointed that this customer was not completely satisfied with the service we provided on May 1, 2013. This was a last minute job and we were very clear that scheduling was an issue and we could not guarantee the start time. This customer was told that his home would be cleaned as time permitted that day so that our regular customers would not be impacted. We kept this customer informed throughout the day to better establish a more accurate start time. We also acquiesced to this customer’s request that we clean only the stove/oven and the bathrooms. We very rarely do partial cleans due to past experiences from customers with similar requests. Finally, there is the issue with the door being left unlocked. We had no way to lock the door and both the customer and the Realtor were contacted when the cleaning was complete. At this point it became their responsibility to secure the property since the cleaning team had other appointments to tend to. Now let’s see, we help this customer by putting him on the schedule at the last moment, completed a partial clean, and contacted both he and his realtor when the cleaning team was finished and could not lock the door. This equates to a company that will do whatever it takes to satisfy the needs of our customers. Angie’s List is a great source for those looking for quality service providers and their reputation speaks for itself. There are also several cleaning companies (competitors) that are very good and we at Arizona cleanPROS are honored to be their peers."
The only issue I have ever had is with the scheduling team. I have run into problems with getting them to call me back. This is not enough of a problem to make me not want to use their service.
address wasn't showing up on their GPS or something to that effect
(which we have never heard of happening before). Like other
people have mentioned, it's nice having someone in the group who you
know understands English (not just the nod and smile) and can also speak
it rather clearly. That way you know your requests/explanations are
understood. Their team leader (Luz) was friendly and they got to work right
away.
The odd experience was the timing/schedule situation. I
had explained in my phone call we wanted a thorough cleaning top to
bottom for showing our home as we were on the market to sell. I also
gave details. I did the same with the team leader. So, my
understanding was we had them for the day, if need be. No one said otherwise or gave me a time limit. I knew there was a lot of work to do. Around noon, if I recall, the team leader told me they had to wrap up as they were only scheduled for 4 hours. I asked if she could stay (they weren't close to finished! They were doing a great job but I have to say when I watched them they could probably have moved a little faster.) Anyway she said she had to call the office to get permission. I also called to make the request. There was a lot of awkward back and forth during all of this and I was also trying to run errands, etc. But they did allow the team to stay, thankfully.
In the end, they did an amazing job. The house was the cleanest I had ever seen it--maybe even cleaner than when we first moved in and it had been cleaned. The baseboards, which were filthy with dust, grime, and animal hair at the onset all came out like new! (I am sure that was time-consuming).
Even with all of this hard work going on, the team remained professional, friendly and even smiley!
I wish I had a team like this where we are relocating, because I trust them to really get the house CLEAN! I'd hire them again in a heartbeat.
PS We left town the next day and had many showings during the week we were gone. We came home to TWO OFFERS on the table! We had a lot of traffic before the cleaning but I think the sparkling home made a difference and really helped get us the offers--thanks AZ Clean Pros!
"This customer is absolutely correct in what transpired and we have apologized for the disappointment. Our Office Manager, Carolina, had to resign due to pregnancy and needed to be close to family. We hired a new Office Assistant who simply was incompetent and we let promptly let her go. We now have a new Office Assistant, Henny, who is doing a great job for us at Arizona cleanPROS. Again, we have apologized to this customer for not having her on the schedule and did offer her a discount. She indicated that she cleaned the home herself. Not only did we disappoint the customer we are also disappointed in ourselves."
Aida and her crew arrived; then Aida had to leave. The crew did a mediocre job, skipping closet cabinets, porch spider web, dirty rails, but the worse was the floor: it looked filthy....When they called us to come to see the job, we pointed out to Aida those problems and she started to clean them herself. She told us she would take care of it. One hour goes by, making the cleaning time 6hours, she calls us back. Now the manager is also in the house and the price was $550!!! We were shocked and said this was never the quote-we were expecting no more than $450 given the time spent. They said it was because the job was performed by 4 people. The number of people involved in the work was never mentioned on the quote. We felt ripped off, and they, believe it or not, started screaming with, very unprofessional. Anyway, the whole experience was bad..we ended up settling for $500, and had to do a lot of the cleaning ourselves before we moved...
"We at Arizona cleanPROS have no control in regards to the reviews we receive from Angie’s List members. We only have control in the quality of our services that we provide to our clients. We also completely understand that we should be politically correct when responding to negative reviews. We are completely outraged by the review written by this customer. The quality of service provided to this customer was excellent. I know this for a fact since I did a walkthrough with the customer at the completion of the job. The customer was completely satisfied with the quality. The floors in this house are concrete. The customer even took a white towel, rubbed the floors in several areas throughout the house, and was completely satisfied. There was no dirt, grime, or dust on the towel when he finished. I cannot understand the statement in the review regarding how “Filthy” the floor was. The owner also checked all of the cabinets in the home and again was completely satisfied. The “Skipped” cabinet(s) mentioned in the review were indeed dirty because the owner told the cleaning team not to clean them. Really!! Every stair rail was checked and the owner was satisfied. Every nook and cranny was checked and passed inspection!! This house was immaculate when the cleaning team was finished!! Next is the billing. It appears that this customer cannot read and has problems hearing. We made it perfectly clear (or so we thought) that they were being charged by the hour for the actual time spent cleaning the home. We sent a confirmation email to the explain this. We DID NOT provide a quote to this customer. It would be ludicrous to provide a quote without walking the property first. Apparently simple math was also a challenge for this customer. If you have a job that takes a total of 12 cleaning hours it makes no difference if you have a 3 person team for 4 hours or a 4 person team for 3 hours. The customer WAS TOLD that the team would consist of either 3 or 4 cleaning techs depending on the team’s workload for the day. This customer provided us at Arizona cleanPROS many 1st experiences. This was the 1st time in our company’s history that the cleaning team was in tears when I arrived. The customer was very rude, obnoxious, and degrading towards the gals on the team. Our employees are well trained, eager to do excellent work, and very honest. Anyone who reads our reviews will see Aida mentioned over and over. Aida is our Director of Cleaning Services and is hands down the best house cleaner in Phoenix. We are very proud to have Aida on our team. Payment for services rendered was an issue. It took approximately 45 minutes for the owner to show up for the walkthrough. He told us that he was very close to the house and would be right over. The cleaning team had worked without any breaks for approximately 6 hours and wanted to get home to their families. Next, the customer started yelling at us regarding the price and would not listen to our repeated explanation of what was discussed on the phone with him AND his wife. At this point we told the customer to keep his money and never call us again. He insisted on paying a discounted rate. We acquiesced, accepted the money only to get out of there quicker. I am sure that every successful company has experienced customers like this. Customers that rude, degrading, are not civil to others, and completely ruin an otherwise great day. We at Arizona cleanPROS can only hope that we do not have to go through this again for a very long time. Every day we remember that we are just people helping people and that our customers are the reason we are all here. We have excellent customers and this experience makes us appreciate them even more. - Dusting Missed/UN-thorough: Daughter?s bedroom ? leather headboard, tall chest of drawers; Living room ? leather ottoman,
coffee table shelf; AZ room ? black couch, glass table, stereo stand
- Floors/UN-thorough: Hall - corners, edges; Kitchen ? under cabinets & table (that?s all I?d noticed when I called for a return crew)
- Kitchen: Microwave ? Inside missed/outside smeared, Counter tops ? backsplash ?area?, table-wine rack
- Fans: Missed ? Kitchen & Family Room
A different crew returned the next day and corrected the "misses".
HOWever, when I initally spoke to Dennis(?) to schedule the appt., I told him there would be a high concentration on "dusting" as I hadn't maintained it in a few weeks. I also did ensure it was understood that I have dogs that are only allowed in the kitchen/AZ Room, and that I maintain the floors due to this (throughout house). I also maintain the bathrooms, but not the floors each time.
When I spoke to the person to get a crew to return and fix the "misses", he was EXTREMELY rude, saying my house was "filthy" which I DID NOT appreciate. There was NO FILTH, yes VERY dusty especially the bedrooms & blinds, however NO FILTH!! I also ensured I made it extremely easy for the crew to get through the house easily; everythting was picked up organized & neat, I removed all items from the china hutch (and placed in dishwasher) to ensure easy access. This was done throughout the house to ensure, again - "easy access".
Also, it would behoove the "crew" to avoid speaking in spanish about what they will or will not do or make sarcastic comments "assuming" I do not understand - I do...!
I did not review cleanPROS before this as I wasn't at all happy with the experience. I have hesitated since to go with try any of the housecleaning deals on Angie's List due to the experience, which is very unfortunate. Nonetheless, I did see a "Big Deal" for a full day housecleaning deep clean at $179 which I'm REALLY interested in for THIS WEEK; when I go to the deal, it shows it's a Los Angeles deal...? Please advise if this is available in Scottsdale, AZ...Thank you.
Please let me know if you have any questions about this review; I elected NOT to 'share' this with my neighbors - FYI. And also, please advise about the current housecleaning Big Deal.
Best Regards,

"We at Arizona cleanPROS always strive to provide our customers with the highest quality cleaning services available in Phoenix. We are actually surprised that this customer wrote such an unflattering review of our services. This customer made it very clear that she ONLY wanted 6 cleaning hours of service and described the condition of her home as not dirty but very dusty. We reluctantly agreed because we normally do not offer “Partial Cleanings” and set the appointment for very late in the day because she had to have the cleaning done on a specific date. We immediately received phone calls from the cleaning team as soon as they entered the home. The team supervisor indicated the home was filthy with pet hair from one end of the home to the other. Our team supervisor also stated that the home appeared to not have been cleaned in a very long time and there was a heavy layer of dust on top of everything. The cleaning team took pictures of various areas of the home that made it very clear that the condition of the home was not accurately described to us when the customer called. Our Director of Cleaning Services went to the home and verified that it was filthy by any standards and that it would take much longer to properly clean. The cleaning team proceeded as directed and cleaned for the allotted time as dictated by the home owner. We received a call from the home owner the next morning indicating that her home was not cleaned to her expectations. We explained to her that her description as to the condition of the property was at best deceptive and that the home was indeed “Filthy” as the cleaning team, the Director of Cleaning Services, and the photos of the property all indicated. As an act of good faith we sent another team the following morning to touch up a couple areas to appease this customer. She then demanded that we honor the Angie’s List 15% coupon which is only valid for any subsequent cleaning appointment. We at Arizona cleanPROS believe that we were taken advantage of. The customer received 9 cleaning hours for the price of 6 then demanded a discount on top of that. This illustrates our commitment to complete customer satisfaction even in difficult situations. As previously mentioned our goal is to provide the best cleaning services available in Phoenix and to provide a level of customer service second to none. This goal is only attainable if new customers are honest with us when describing the condition of their homes and expectations."
