They came out, they were unable to fix it on sight, and they thought there was a resolution if they ordered a part, they would be able to fix it. They ordered the part, and they were unable to fix it, so they were stumped, because they were unable to fix it. We ended up having to replace the appliance, but they refunded us the money we had paid them. They had a service charge of 50 Dollar, which would go towards the repair. They checked the line, and then assessed it, then they determined that it was the control panel controlling it. They replaced that, but it didn't fix it, and they charged me 350 Dollars. I called them to tell them that it still wasn't working, and they refunded me back everything. Their price was fine.

The technician was very professional and curtious. He had made his recommendationn regarding the washing machine not spinning had ordered the part and temporarily fixed the machine so that we could utilize it pending the part coming in. We decided to procure a new washing machine because the part would have cost over half of the original price of the machine which was now over ten years old. We contacted the office to informed them of our decision and pay for the service call and were treat again very curtiously and professionally.

I've reviewed them before. They were prompt, analyzed the problems quickly and correctly and made repairs that lasted. We were quite pleased.

They really saved the day for us. We just came back from a week long trip and our washer wouldn't work. We called several companies to see if they could come out same day (it was a Friday) and Appliance Works said they could be there between 3-6pm. Jim arrived around 3pm and was professional and courteous. He quickly determined the problem, which confirmed what we had found on the internet since our washer showed a code of F35. He found where he could get the part and was back within 30min or so. The entire job took maybe 2 hours. He left everything very clean and even gave us advice on prolonging the life of the washer.

Brett was very nice and professional. I did not feel uncomfortable being a woman alone. He explained everything to me and gave me a great price. I will use him again if my large appliances need repair. Thank you Brett.........

Called Appliance Works because the appliance repair shop I've used in the past didn't made service calls on weekends and they had a tech available who came out and repaired the refrigerator that had stopped freezing. While there he recommended a replacement cam kit for the door. It is a rental house and I am pleased that it was fixed quickly for the tenet and without excessive expense to me. I was advised that the compressor will likely go out in the future but it could last six months or even two years. The tech gave me the price of the repair over the phone and I approved. Also, I agreed to replace the cam or door stop to stop the door from swinging all the way open and hitting the cabinets, an extra $65.00 I'm pleased that they came on a Saturday, that it was repaired quickly, and they didn't just decide they'd put a new compressor in and really run the bill up. However, it feels like the Angie's list "deal" of 10% off isn't really what happened. The tech gives me a price of the repair and then it's the same on the bill with a note that it would have been 10% more had I not mentioned Angie's list. I might be wrong and will never know for sure, but it gives me the impression that it really wasn't 10% off, it was just a standard price quoted by the tech. Long and short, the repair was made on a weekend and I'm pleased Appliance Works was prompt and the tech was professional in the repair. I can't grade quality because the refrigerator has to have some time running after on the repair to know for sure it was successful.

This was a very successful encounter with Appliance Works. I will use them again when needed.

Had a very annoying vibration from my oven every time it was turned on. The repairman was prompt, courteous, and efficient. He was gone within the hour and the problem was solved. Would not hesitate to call these folks again for any appliance repair work.

This could not have gone better - they came out the same day I called and the very nice courteous young man was knowledgeable and even had the parts on his truck so he repaired both the dryer and the ice maker on the same day! He discussed options with me, I opted for a more expensive repair on the ice maker. From now on I am going to opt out of warranties on appliances and call these guys instead!

I called several on Angie's List and Appliance Works do work on Saturdays which was a relief since I have out of town guests. After my initial call the company responded promptly with a return call and an estimated time of arrival. The tech Jim was very personable, professional and knowledgeable. He knew right away what the problem was, and initially said the part couldn't be installed until Monday, which was a disappointment, but he said he would try to locate the part at a different supplier, and thank God he called me about an hour later and said he had located the part, and he came back and installed it. My washer is working great and I am very satisfied with this company. Thank you! The only "B" was for price, but I think everything is too high...lol

The company was able to set up an appointment on the very afternoon of my call. Two polite and professional young men assessed my leaking washing machine. They quickly figured out what was wrong and researched replacement parts on site. The parts for my washer are no longer available, which means the warranty company will cover cost for a new washer. I was very impressed with the technicians efficiency and professional demeanor. As soon as they walked out of my door I called my warranty company to ask how I go about getting my replacement washer. One Guard said that they had to wait for Appliance Works to call in a report with the results of my service call. A report was made to them while I was still on the phone, within a couple of minutes of their departure. Wow!

Fantastic service!!! I am a complicated customer in that we travel often and I am unable to do must of my business by phone. I sent service requests to Appliance Works and another Angie's list appliance repair (EJ Appliance) with model numbers, service locations and got a email back the same day from Appliance Works. I was unable to schedule the repair for both home (refrigerator at one and oven at another) on the same day without any difficulty. Turned out of the day of visit I had to be at Dr. apt with my mom, so the gentleman that came out went to my house and repaired fridge with just babysitter there and then went to second location with just workman there and completed the work NO PROBLEM! was part owner of this family business (LOVE SMALL BUSINESSES!) and was very knowledgeable and quick. He had the necessary hinges (which has been a struggle with other companies) and finished up quickly and cleaning. Considering my scheduling needs, two locations, specific hinges AND the fact that I wasn't present for the work I am SOOO impressed with Appliance Works. Just one of these factors has frustrated services so much with our providers that I have stopped using them. I highly recommended these guys - there common sense and ability to get the job done!

They did a pretty good job. Somehow a wire was loose and it stopped working. I called them. They came back and fixed it at no charge.

He did a really good job. He seemed to be very knowledgeable. I did some preventative maintenance to the system. He came back and installed that while we weren't there. He called several times to update me on the schedule. I thought he went over and above as far as communication.

Everything turned out great. They did a good job. They helped to make sure it was installed correctly. They went out of their way to help us set it up. The went above and beyond. We were really pleased with their service.

e had a freon leak, and he promised adding freon might last 5 years or 5 minutes... in retrospect the funny smell about the house in the week or two prior was most likely freon... we declared the appliance quite dead, and he did not try to convincee me it was worth trying to extend the life of an old fridge! he explained each step of what he did to come to his conclusions.

See above. The only other thing was that from the day I called for help to the day the problem was diagnosed and the problem was fixed was less than 24 hours. Excellent.

Called regarding an icemaker that would not make ice - they took care of me right away - the entire process from phone call to fix was about 1 hour. Very friendly, very professional. Thank you for the great service

This was a great experience. He explained in great detail all of the possible diagnostic tests and the possible resulting repair options. At no time did he encourage or pressure me to continue. After considering all options, I decided not to do any additional work on the refrigerator. I was charged only a service call, and believe he went beyond and above to assure I fully understood the ramifications of my decision. I was tremendously impressed with his knowledge base and integrity. This company has earned my gratitude and unequivable trust. I will definitely use their service again, and give them an A+ in every category.
