DEPENDABLE DUTCHMAN PLUMBING

The pilot light for the hot water heater located at a rental property that I manage would not stay lit.  When I called Dependable Dutchman to schedule an appointment, I asked that the service tech call me about half an hour prior to arrival  so I could meet him at the residence. When  I received a call from Ross Rozendaal, he stated he had arrived, but the occupant knew nothing about the scheduled repair.  I realized I had inadvertently provided the incorrect address.  After correcting this mistake, I met Ross at the location only to find that the tenant (who was expecting us both) was not at home.  Fortunately, we were both there about 15 minutes prior to the scheduled time, and the tenant arrived punctually.  While we waited, I had the opportunity to chat with Ross and his son (who had come with Ross in his own vehicle to help in case the hot water heater needed to be replaced).  They were both extremely personable, and Ross was more than willing to reschedule the service call with no charge for the dry run.  I was very impressed by this offer.

After inspecting the water heater, Ross told me that the main problem was accumulated dust and dirt in the under-tank burner area.  He replaced the thermocouple, removed the burner assembly and cleaned the area under the tank.   After thoroughly cleaning all the gas ports on the burner assembly  and reinstalling it, the 22 year old hot water heater worked  as good as new.  The entire job took about 45 minutes.

As I manage 2 rental properties, I immediately scheduled Ross to perform the same treatment on the water heater at the other property as well.

I highly recommend the Dependable Dutchman to everyone who has need of a professional plumber's services.  He is very professional and obviously takes pride in the quality of his work, and is a down to earth nice guy.  My only regret is that I wish I had used his services years ago.

Running water sound in the wall! Turns out to be a leaking hose bib outside. He had to dismantle a corner lazy susan which was encased in particle board just to get to the sheetrock where he needed to get to the pipe. He couldn't get access from the outside. Ross pieced the open sheetrock back with tape and then reassembled the lazy susan and the folding door that enclosed it. Very neat, timely and much appreciated that I didn't need to hire a cabinet or sheetrock person. The story is in services performed!

He did an exceptional job and the price was less than I expected. He is punctual, efficient, professional, and very nice!

He said it would cost about $250, he completed it in 1 hour and not two and went and refigured the bill to$160.

Ross arrived exactly on time on the scheduled date. He got to work immediately and had the old fauct out and the new one installed in 45 minutes. There was no mess left behind. New one looks beautiful and works very well with no leaks. I would call Ross next time without hesitation.

Arranged for the water softener install several days ahead of time. Russ called to confirm the make of the water softener and pre plumbing. Russ arrived early and completed the work within two hours. Price for the work was $155. Excellent work and the softener works great.

Excellent!! I live in Texas and have rental property in the Prescott AZ area that needed a new water heater. Called Dependabe Dutchman (based on high Angie's List rating) and asked if my tenant could schedule an appt for the work at her convenience, and I would pay by phone w/ credit card. He wanted no money up front, not even my cc nbr. Next thing I know, the water heater has been replaced, my tenant is happy, - all at Dependable Dutchman's own expense. Only then did he call for payment, which I happily provided. You don't see this kind of old-fashioned service much anymore! Will definitely be using this company for any other plumbing needs that come up in the future!

Ross and his son Garrett spent roughly 7 hours completing my large list of requested repairs. They were honest, efficient, professional, cleaned up and hauled the two old toilets, water heater and expansion tank away when the job was complete. Their costs are very reasonable and will definitely utilize them again if I ever need a plumber. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

Ross was very professional, his cost estimate was very reasonable. He was professional, called and asked if he could come earlier than scheduled and provided a quality service for a great price. I have once again scheduled an appointment with him to replace a number of additional items in the home that we have just purchased and feel his estimate for that service is also quite reasonable. I would highly recommend him for any plumbing related job.

Ross arrived early and diagnosed the problem quickly. He dug down approximately 3 feet and repaired/replaced the damaged valve.
He was very professional, worked 2 hrs without stopping and cleaned up the work area. I would definitely contact them again if the need arises.

Ross did a great job and a great price for a second floor tub with standing water. His service is the best, that I have seen in a very long time and will use him again for my plumbing needs.

I really liked their services. They are great and do very good services. The guy is extremely punctual, polite, and make great suggestions. I have used them four times, and they have done an excellent job every time. The prices are very reasonable.

One of our two toilets began leaking. I decided it was time to have them rebuilt. I found the Dutchman in Angie's List and called. The call was handled courteously and efficiently. The work was scheduled, the Dutchman showed up at the appointed time and completed the work quickly and efficiently. He was friendly and pleasant. I would definitely use him again.

They charged me $433 for the service. They were great. They came out on time and did what they said they would do. They charged me what they had agreed to charge. They were neat and clean. I will use them again in the future.

I went to pick up the tanks, and Ross helped me load them onto my vehicle. He was very friendly and helpful. I have seen Ross performing work for my neighbors, and they have been very pleased with the service that he provides. If I had any plumbing work that needed to be done at my home, Dependable Dutchman would be the first company I would call.
