METROPOLITAN

I was referred to Metropolitan from 2 friends. One had dealt with them previously when he owned property in the Phoenix area and one that was currently utilizing their services. Both heard my horror stories over dinner and gave me a card. They told me that the staff would treat my properties as if they were their own. This puzzled me as every other PM company I've ever dealt with didn't care about the properties themselves and were just interested in cashing my checks. I called them the very next day. A gentleman answered the line with a very pleasant demeanor and asked how he could help. I then started telling my story to which he actually LISTENED. Within 5 minutes of being on the phone with him I had received all documentation regarding management for each of my properties and then received a follow up email showing the rental rates in my area for comparable homes along with a summary of our conversation. I had some additional questions which were answered the same day. Being in the area, I asked if I might be able to come down and meet the staff to which I was welcomed with open arms. I brought down all the paperwork, keys and everything else needed to manage my properties. 3 days later I received an email from the same gentleman thanking me for coming in and that they had already been to my homes, took pictures, installed a lockbox and sign and that it was already being marketed for rent. Within a week I received a call and email with a tenant application package with credit report and everything. Another week and I received the same for the other property for my approval. Once again I can't emphasize enough how important that is to me that I get to give the final word as to who gets to live in my homes. I've already received both rent checks minus their monthly fee ($75) when they told me I would. It's nice for once.

I called from a website posting for people who need tenants for their vacant properties. I spoke to an extremely knowledgeable gentleman who answered all of my questions on the spot. Then, he emailed me all of the necessary paperwork as well as an explanation "in writing" regarding everything we spoke about in our phone conversation that day. I went to their office, met the staff, filled out the paperwork, gave them my keys, and they sent a person out to inspect my house and take pictures. Just a little more than 2 weeks later I received a leasing application for my review and approval. I like having the final word on who is allowed to occupy my house. I've since received my first check from the tenants and it seems that everything I was told especially regarding costs & fees was exactly what I was told.
