Professional, friendly, knowledgeable and efficient. I have multiple properties and have gone through many plumbers over the years because most have not been proficient and unprofessional. This is the first time I used Hays and was very happy with them.

Had my two 20 year old AC units checked by Jerry S. of Hays Cooling. It was really refreshing to have someone performing service that was not trying to sell me something I did not need. Jerry was very thorough and methodical. He didn't mind me hovering around and asking questions as he was performing his various checks.
Although the AC tune-ups were $80 per unit, I decided to sign-up for an annual service contract ($260) that provides for two service checks for each unit in a 12-month period, because I was so impressed with the service provided.

The whole experience couldn't have been better. It started yesterday with Laurie, very friendly and proficient, scheduling me for the first call today. I received an email yesterday with a picture of the plumber coming and his bio. Mike came on time this morning and was extremely personable. He quoted me a fair price for the job and finished in a timely manner. From start to finish, I couldn't be more pleased!

Person was friendly and professional. He showed me the part that was worn out that caused the dripping and showed me the proper way to turn off the water to prevent this from happening in the future. He also gave me a quote to replace a toilet.

Hays was very responsive and very prompt. I would have given them a straight A on all matters, since they were also dedicated to handling the problem.
On Friday (early April) they sent a fellow who worked for 2 hours but could not clear the line. Curiously he arrived with only one cutter for the 2-cutter rooter. He said his boss would come early Saturday to continue. Ian worked hard for about 2 hours - a very personable guy. We talked nearly the whole time. He came with both cutter blades. The clogged was cleared.
The free photo inspection ran into a block so the camera could not go all the way.
Ian said there was likely another block and he couldn't warranty the work. He recommended hydro pressure. But he did not come with the hydro pressure equipment so that would have to be scheduled next week.
Since the water was flowing well, I decided to postpone that.
The flow has been fine ever since - I did not purchase the hydro treatment - about $400.
Instead I bought a Roebic root treatment for $18 on Amazon and applied that in July.
Thus far there have been no problems.
The company worked the pricing with integrity, and offered me some discounts in addition to the one I asked for.
So, overall, excellent experience, at a fine price, but with a couple of oddities.
I would use them again.

I requested service to install a new gas hose from the gas line in the wall to the gas dryer. I wanted to move the dryer and the current 54" hose was too short. A 72" hose was needed. This was made clear when scheduling the appointment.
The technician arrived and did not have the gas hose. He gave my wife an estimate of $155 to move the gas line (not install a longer gas hose), and another estimate of $75 to install 2 washer hoses (this was not part of my initial request). Total estimate of $230.
In order to save money, I purchased the 72" gas hose and the 2 washer hoses. I then rescheduled the appointment to install the 72" gas hose. The technician installed the gas hose and the 2 washer hoses. He charged my wife $200.
The next time my wife used the dryer, it did not work. The air was cold so the clothes did not dry properly. Upon examining the gas line it had been left in gas line closed position.
When turning on the gas line, we smelled gas; and called Hays Plumbing. I asked if the technician had tested the line for gas leaks and was told "yes".
I did not trust the technician to come back and test for gas leaks so I called another plumber who tested the gas line. He confirmed that our smelling gas was correct; and adjusted / tightened the connection to stop the leak. The dryer works fine now and there is no gas leak. Unfortunately, I had to pay the second plumber because Hays did not do the job right the first time.

We are mailing out $159 to him today. We also explained that 98% of our customers are extremely happy with our service, and asked him to please give us another chance if he had any future plumbing needs."
