Handyman Connection - Phoenix

Rob was awesome to work with. He was on time, no nonsense and hard working. He accepted an Angie's list coupon and extrapolated this to all of the fans. We feel like he did a quality job and similar to our past experiences with the Handyman Connection it was excellent.

Installer was on time and extremely professional. He did a great job replacing both of the fans for us, one of which had been in place for quite some time. I would highly recommend Handyman Connection and will use them again.

We waited for over two weeks for a quote. We allowed for one week without response, then started calling, we were told the quote was being typed, then it was been reviewed, then that there was an item that needed further clarification, we asked to leave that item out. We got a call 19 days later only to be told they would pass on the job because it was out of their scope because it was one major job and they would refer us out to another company. We do not understand how the smaller individual jobs described above were out of their scope. When we made the appointment they asked for a brief explanation of the work required and they confirmed it was the type of work they do. This is all very frustrating and disappointing, we are from out of state, and when we met them it was a small window of opportunity given that we had traveled for the home inspection. I had researched contractors and Handyman Connection appeared to have a good reputation. However I now checked in Yelp and read what they have to say, I was misguided. We never received a quote. For me, how a company conducts itself at the initial meeting and whether it carries through on its initial promises is critical. If a company cannot deliver at this stage of the process when they should be trying to earn my business, I have serious reservations regarding how the rest of the job would be handled. Unfortunately, Handyman Connection failed to deliver on its initial promises and I will not do business with this company.

GREAT!!!! Already referred him to a friend. I worked with Doyln (I am not sure if that is how he spells his name), he was very polite, worked hard, and kept us informed of everything he was doing. He was very flexible with my work schedule and really went the extra mile on a things. The time that it took was longer than expected but he was willing to work out price so it was fair for both himself /the company and my budget.

Very professional organization. Lana took the service information and scheduled the appointment. She was very clear about how they approach the services to be rendered. I received two emails prior to the appointment. Jeff called the night before to confirm again. Jeff gave a quote on the job before starting (by the job, not by the hour) and replaced the kitchen faucet with no problem. Overall, I was very impressed by the company and Jeff.

I used the company twice. Two different technicians came out. They were very intelligent and got right to work. They understood my needs and wasted no time getting the work done. They did a really good job. The staff was very nice over the phone and great about getting an appointment time convenient for me.

I have used the company off and on for about 3-4 years. The technician completed the most recent job in under an hour. They seem to have competent technicians who can do smaller household items quickly. I really find that helpful since it is hard to find companies to do those smaller things. I have had no issues scheduling their services.

They completed the service fine, but the price was outrageous. The microwave itself only cost about $100.

He was happy to discuss what I was looking for and gave me some good suggestions of what I could do. He was pleasant to work with and did a thorough job. I've used Handyman Connection twice. The first time the two men that came out were wonderful. The second time I used Handyman Connection, the gentleman was different than the first. He came out twice. The first time he came he was fine. The second time I could tell he was intoxicated, I ended up not calling him back after the estimate. The girls in the office are great.

Scheduling was smooth, was able to find someone to come. They don't work weekends - I had to take time off, always a bummer. Received an email reminder with handyman photo (Ron), ahead of schedule. Ron called ahead, confirming arrival time. He showed up on time as promised, was very polite and friendly, gave me an estimate. Although it was a little high, I had to proceed because of urgency of the repairs needed. Ron finished the job in about two hours, to my satisfaction. He cleaned up the work area after he was done and took payment. Work was very good quality, scheduling and service was professional. My only negative - price for a 2 hr job seemed excessive (works out to more than $160/hr, after Angie's list discount!!). I will probably shop for someone as reliable but more reasonably priced next time.

The craftsman, Dave, was very professional. On the first day he walked through the home and indicated what jobs he could do. On a glass and window repair job, he was honest and said I should have the work done by a glass company. When he came back to perform the work, he was on time and worked with me to time the water shut off. The work was performed on time and within budget. Dave cleaned up as he went and there was no refuse or unused parts after he left. I would definitely have this firm back on any work I need done.

After a mix up on the day to have service, John showed up on time and did excellent work. He was very professional and a pleasure to deal with. I would highly recommend John if you need any thing done around the house.

He fixed a shower head. They have a lot people and they are pretty honest. They are not just out to make a profit but to make a relationship and I like that.

The Handyman Connection did a great job of estimating materials required and scheduling the work. They were prompt and completed the job within the timeline agreed upon. The workmanship of the final product is excellent and new shower works extremely well. The work included removing the old shower. Moving the shower head to a different wall and putting bench in the shower. The shower was tiled from floor to ceiling and additional tile was added around the bathtub. The result was an amazing shower.
