We recently needed the installation of a ceiling fan with light fixture. Jonathan was the technician, and he did an excellent job with the installation. I just had Ron install my ceiling fan and he did an amazing job! He was on time for the job, very knowledgeable, and even gave me great advice about a future kitchen lighting job. I have a 100+ year old home so I was grateful to have a master electrician who really could do quality work. I'll definitely use him again for my next electrical job!

We had bathroom and kitchen remodeled by this company. Lets begin with bathroom, our bathroom is small about 25 square feet, we wanted to do partial remodel which only include replacing countertop, tiling the tub area, putting vinyl plank on the floor and replacing wall and paint. Since this is our only bathroom, Allen said remodel would take about week-week and half, he said that everything would be accessible like toilet, shower on 4 day of remodel, he said his guy would work 7-9 hours. That was all not true. The remodel took 3 weeks, their guy worked slow and only 5 hours max or less most days, we were without toilet and shower for week and half. The quality of his work was horrible specially tile, culk and grout (pics posted). I had to make him regrout. He was telling me he is blind and cannot see how to culk properly. So this is the kind of people they send you for $8300 remodel. So after he was done, they sent a plumber to install the faucet. Their plumber was even dumber he could not figure out how to install a faucet, I pretty much had to tell him what to do. Later when they connected the toilet the supply line was leaking, that plumber started putting on like 6 supply lines and they were all leaking and he didnt know why. He told me i need to get a new toilet. He started screwing with a fill valve, broke the fill valve, water exploded all over our newly renovated bathroom. I had to yell them to send us someone who knows what they are doing. So finally on week 3 they had to send their best carpenter and plumber to fix what others did. So after the bathroom was done I asked Allen for at least $1000 discount from everything that happened (good contractor would agree on that). He was hesitant at first, said things like that happen (yeah if I was paying $1000 and not $8300). He agreed for only 500 discount on bathroom and 500 on future work, who knows how much he will add to future work to compensate for that. So we decided to use them again for kitchen which required less work, just countertops, plumbing and flooring, price was $5300 kitchen was completed in a week. Kitchen came out ok, but there were few hiccups, their counter top guy cut the granite for a sink that did not match and they had order another one which took 3 days and they blamed work on one another, counter top guy Dorin said that he doesnt install the support brackets for counter top and they said thats his job. So after the kitchen was done I asked Allen to fix minor damages that were done to drywall from demo. Allen replied that he would charge additional $350 to fix the drywall, they state in contract that repairs are not included after demo, so that basically says we can damage the drywall anyway we like and you will pay extra to fix. I used a 6 dollar can of spackling paste to fix the damages which took me 20 min and if they did the same thing I would of been satisfied, especially after we had a bad experience with bath, but they decided to scam you at the end. I would stay away from this company for any remodeling needs.

Although we would have liked to complete the bathroom project in 1.5 weeks, we could not promise it would be finished in that time frame, and we're sorry for the additional delay. We provided you with a toilet during that time so you would not be without, although we understand the inconvenience of not having a fully functional bathroom during the time we were completing the remodel. Our team did recommend a new toilet since the rest of your bathroom is brand new, and a 35-year-old toilet is more likely to have problems as it gets moved around. Our only intention was to offer the best renovation possible and to prevent future issues. As a company that stands behind the quality of our work, we were happy to refund $1000 for the areas of the bathroom that did not meet our standards. At that time, you seemed satisfied and wanted to continue onto the kitchen. It seems that the most confusion centered around this particular contract. In it, we stated certain areas would not be included in the estimate - specifically drywall repair - because until we remove the countertop, we aren't sure of the degree of damage to the drywall, or if it will need repair at all. Our craftsmen are trained to repair drywall properly, and unfortunately, this requires more than spackling. We are sorry for your dissatisfaction, as we value our customers' satisfaction and did all we could to make things right. We used Handyman Connection to install a large multi-pane sliding glass door. We are remodeling a bedroom which had an old, inoperable ceiling fan we wanted to replace. Ron Sparks, the handyman, also found the wall switch controlling the power to the fan was defunct and needed to be replaced. There was damaged dry wall caused by the previous installation and the mud ring was not the correct size. Ron did all of the repairs and configurations during one visit but had to return to do the fan installation because the fan had not arrived on time. He explained what needed to be done clearly. He was efficient, friendly and professional. Ron has done work in our home on previous occasions and has always done a super job.

The most recent project was the tear-out of a vanity so that we could improve a corner in the master bedroom for a partial office set-up. There are additional projects scheduled in December, i.e., installation of lighting throughout the house. It should be noted that we've used this service for years. Our current craftsman, Ron Sparks, is someone on whom we can always count to do quality work for the many projects that he's completed around our 47-year-old house. While many repairs and upgrades are still needed, we're confident that Ron's expertise will resolve our issues in a timely and professional manner -- working with Ron and Handyman Connections' craftsmen has eliminated a lot of stress that arose from lost time and wasted money that we've experienced with previous companies. Ron is licensed and bonded in just about everything that we could need, so we're very confident in both his knowledge and his demonstrated skills. One final note is that Handyman Connection is very conscientious about sending out only experienced people as we noticed early-on before we became acquainted with Ron; even so, he's the best as far as we're concerned. It's no wonder that even during Covid in 2020, Handyman Connection was still high in demand because of the value and quality to which their company is dedicated. I had Tony E. come to my residence yesterday morning to repair an exterior "man" door on my garage, not an overhead door. He was prompt, professional, courteous and very pleasant to talk with. Ron was quite knowledgeable and professional. The new porch light looks great and he was able to determine where the old outdoor light was connected to power so that it could be safely removed. The drywall repairs are noticeable only if you know where to look for them. Ron answered all my questions and I will be using Handyman Connection for future projects.

Ken and Zach took time to decide what approach to take, read over some material I gave them and then proceeded carefully to reattach the shade to the pole. This was something that they were seeing for the first time and were able to figure it out. Bravo to Ken and Zach!
