If I could give it a rating BELOW 1 STAR, I would.  My new boston retriever was a rescue that had her shot records FAXED to Camelback Animal Clinic from a different state and I scheduled an appointment, took her in there and said I needed 3 things to be done 1) review shot records and be sure all shots are current for Arizona law  2) get microchip # of the previous installed chip to update the locator information 3) obtain the form for submitting for an AZ Rabies tag.  There was a coupon for a visit + pet grooming, which I used.  I specifically said since it was a Saturday, and I had already had to wait an extra 30 minutes after my appointment time, that since they seemed to be busy, that my priority was the health issues AND NOT grooming.

I arrived at the time I was told she would be ready and had to wait another 30 minutes for them to finish GROOMING and no one had even looked at her records as yet.  It took another 15 minutes for the doctor to review the shot records and with the exception of one, which was done at that time, she was current.  They were PAID on the spot.  They didn't tell me that they didn't have a microchip reader until AFTER the appointment.  I have been trying for 3 months now to get the copy of the shot records, the microchip # and the form with the doctors signature for filing for rabies.  The office manager said she would let me know when the "other store location" had the microchip scanner at this location so I could bring the dog down to scan.  I have left messages for the doctor, which obviously have not been relayed.  THEY NEVER ANSWER THEIR PHONE and if they do, they don't RESPOND to your requests.  I am resorting to bad-mouthing and maybe I will get a reply???????????  Save yourself the headache, find a reputable location if your priority is your pet's health.

I had a coupon for a free office visit. Since I had recently moved to the area, I was in need of a new vet. I took all 3 of my dogs to the vet at the same time. Dr. Cruz is very friendly and helpful. He updated my dogs on their shots and did a thorough exam on them. As has been my experience with many vets, there was a push to upsell on certain procedures and supplements. Other than that, I am satisfied with this office and will use again.

The vet is knowledgeable, checked to see what type of infection and found two different ones. He got us the right medicines and gave us instructions. The instructions were not as clear as they could have been, so we had to go back for additional medicine we should have taken with us the first time. There was no extra charge other than the price of the medicine. I like Camelback Animal Hospital because they will get you in as soon as possible when necessary, but I'd like to find someone with more reasonable prices.

They are new, but great and it was a wonderful experience with them. They have vets for different animals. I took my cockatiel there because my cat had attacked it and tore him up pretty bad. They happened to have a vet especially for birds and she sewed him up and took care of him and it was really great. She was great and explained everything carefully to us about the extent of the injuries are and how much it would cost and tests and everything else. We also took our cat to them, but their cat vet was off, but their referred us to another vet. We can also check our medical history of our cat and bird online and they also called and followed up after each appointment.

I think that they are over priced but they are good. They are very professional and caring towards me and my dog. I would recommend them to other people because a lot of veterinarians are priced high but it is a service that you need. I am pleased with the doctor though and happy with my overall service from them.
