ARIZONA SUN SCREEN

After two attempts to schedule an estimate with CC Sunscreens -- who failed to show for either appointment -- I called AZ Sun Screen and have been thoroughly impressed. First, unlike others, it is a real company run out of a manufacturing site and has a secretary who answered when I called. The estimator, Del, called back in the evening as I was promised, and set an appointment. He arrived exactly on time and provided an acceptable estimate with delivery in two and a half weeks. The screens were ready to install in exactly two and a half weeks, as promised. However, we were out of town at that time and the installer, Tom, said he would hold them until we got back. He called the night before we got back and arranged to install them the following day. When we drove in, they were being installed. It is so unexpected, nowadays, to get service companies who are so easy to deal with and who deliver on their promises. This is the company to use if you need sunscreens.

Called for estimate on 3/5/14. Del came out on same day and quoted the job for $294.00 which included fabrication and install. I was not home when he showed up to give estimate, but he called me and went over the job, giving me his personal recommendations which I decided to go with. Company required a $100.00 deposit to start the job, but did not accept Discover, which was not really a big deal. Job was completed on 3/18/14 and came in at cost, with no hidden or last minute charges. They called to schedule a time, and were prompt. They even hauled away the old screens. Finished product looks sharp and really accents the front of my house. I would recommend and use this company again.

It was fantastic. They were without exception one of the best service providers I have ever dealt with in my entire life. They were EXACTLY on time. They were clean, neat, friendly, reliable. Their product was fantastic and they were a total joy to deal with.

From the first phone call we made to the follow-up calls to the install, Arizona Sun Screen provided excellent service and quality product. Del is an outstanding example of true customer service and was an absolute pleasure to deal with.

Mike came by on time on Saturday 6/29/13 to measure, remove the 16-year-old screens to be re-screened and give me an estimate on the new screens and the re-screens. I asked if I could borrow his ladder to replace a tile on my roof and he was nice enough to let me use his big ladder. I had previously hired the company to install screens in 1998 as well as 2002 and am completely satisfied with the end result. The most important thing to me is the final installation. I want the screw clips to be perfectly placed. The installer did a expert job and had a fool proof system to install the screens very precisely.

We called the company prior to hauling our sun screens across town to Scottsdale (an hour trip) to ask for basic information. They never told us that if we switched from dark fabric to one of the light fabrics, which we used, it was important to mark each frame as top vs. bottom of frame. It was a hassle figuring out what was top and bottom on several screens after we'd left them with AZ Sun Screens. When we went to pick the finished screens up, Brenda forgot to return our used fabric back to us (as noted on our invoice) and it required us to make a second trip back to the store to retrieve it. No one offered to help us load them into our pickup either. We think the service could have been much better.

They sent a representative out to do the on site measurements. They gave me an estimate that I felt was fair and a three week delivery date. I asked for 3-5 days advance notice on the delivery to arrange having the windows washed prior to the installation of the new screens. They called ahead as requested, and arrived on time for the installation. It all went as good as I had hoped and expected.

Entire process was seamless. Initial consultation and estimate was great, answered all of our questions as we are new to Arizona. Installation went well and all of the screens fit well and look great. We needed to add one more screen to our order and it was installed about 3 days after the initial installation. Would highly recommend.

Scheduled appoint for estimate by phone. Operator was friendly and knowledgable. Advisor/estimator arrived as per prearranged appointment. Measured all windows plus and arcadia door for refurbishing screens for windows. Advisor/estiimator suggested sunscreens for south facing windows to help reduce heat in certain rooms. Gave complete estimate on premises. We agreed to pricing and placed order. Estimated time for delivery, 2 weeks. Received phone call from installer that all screens were completed (in 10 days) and asked to set up an installation date and time. We mutually agreed to a time and date. Installer arrived on time and installed all screens as agreed upon... Advisor and installer both very professional and friendly. Completed job in a very timely manner. Very pleased with all replacement screens and sunscreens. To my surpise the sunscreens do reduce heat in all area's as suggested they would. I would highly recommend Arizona Sunscreen to all my friends and family.

Job went well. Helpful in determining which windows needed solar screens. offered good advice. Installed timely. UPDATE: This entire installation went well, no problems, all work done on time.

Very well, but unfortunately I was unable to have the sunscreens mounted to my windows.

I dropped the screen off on Monday and they said it would be ready Friday. I paid, and they said they would call. Screen was actually done Thursday (which was great - I really needed it Thursday!), and it looked fantastic. Great work.

Del came to the house and provided a very thorough review of the benefits of his replacement screens. He measured and explained that I should paint ahead of installation to make the project look better. Installer returned two week later install the screens and doors. Product quality is very good. Communication with the company was excellent.

I had called a couple of "come to your home screen" services but they said I was out of their area or did not return my call. I called Arizona Sun Screen and they immediately set up a time to come to measure. Mike is pretty good because he just took a look at what I had and could give me a price quote. He measured later. I have 13 windows on a two story house. I told him I was worried about cats clawing up the screens or leaning on them so much (20 pound cat) that he would fall out. Mike recommended some heavy duty frames and screens. One week later, on April 1, all of the screens were installed while I was at work. Tom, the installer, called me to assure me that he had put additional support and screws on all of the windows. When I came home, they looked great. Even though the screens appear dark from the outside, they still let light in. And, I have already noticed a difference in the amount of heat coming into my home. I would certainly recommend these people to anyone looking to repair or replace their screens.

We recently had to replace three large 20-year-old sun screens that had become very worn. Arizona Sun Screen's owner, Mike Komaromi, came out to measure and give us an estimate two days after we called. Within a week, he delivered and installed the new screens. The screens fit perfectly. Our job was relatively small, so he was able to work it into the company's schedule quickly and deliver the finished product a week sooner than we had anticipated. The price he quoted seemed fair and was what we had guessed it might be. He and his company seem very professional and buttoned-up. Mike's company was recommended to us by one of our friends at a local nursery who always gives us good advice. We were delighted with the company's responsiveness and the quality of their work.

After contacting Arizon Sun Screen an appointment was made to provide an estimate for the replacement of the existing sun screens. Upon receiving the estimate an appointment was made to have the work done. The workers arrived at the agreed to time and they were courteous and professional. The new screens look great, beacuse the work was done during cooler temperatures one the screens was bubbled and the installer said that this was normal and as the temperature warms up the screen should flatten out. If it doesn't he said to call and he would come out and fix the problem. Exceptional workmanship by the installers. After removing the old screens they cleaned the windows as well. Would highly recommend the company.

They did an excellent job on making up the screens, like wise the installation was excellent. All employee's were knowledgable, courteous and meet every commitment.

We were trying to get three estimates for roller shade screens for patio. These people were nice enough on the phone but impossible to get an appointment with because they are in Phoenix and we are in Gilbert. My husband has no choice of work hours and Arizona Sun Screens didn't want to come earlier than 9 or later then 3 because of traffic. We feel that if this is your service area then you need to meet when it is possible for the customer. It seemed they wanted us to decide on their product without ever expecting us to see it. By phone quote they were expensive, but then we really don't know what it is they gave us a quote on since they didn't make the time to come out.

They did a great job and the new screens are very nice.

This is my second experience with this vendor is less than three months. My first experience was fantastic (see prior review) as was this one. I wanted a security screen door for my front entrance. I called the company, they sent a technician out the next day for consultation and measurement. We discussed the HOA requirements/restrictions, developed a plan, primary and backup for style and color. I submitted and got approval from the HOA, the door was ordered and subsequently installed. They called for an appointment for the install, the technician arrived right on time, the workmanship was great, the door is perfect.

Our new house had most of the bug screens missing. So after researching companies on Angie's list,I thought I would give az sunscreens a try. Mike was quick to come out, measure and offer recommendations. There are around 20+ windows/doors that needed screens. It took less than two weeks from measurement to installation. I am now enjoying being able to open my windows without any worry about bugs or critters getting in. I'm very pleased with their work.
