They showed up on time, were VERY professional, diagnosed the issue, and found that we needed to replace the ice maker itself. They were very forthright about the pricing and replaced the unit promptly. They were clean, quick, and courteous, and gave the impression that my customer satisfaction was their priority. Most important is that 3 or 4 weeks later the unit quit producing ice. They came promptly at no charge. They found that the fault was due to a problem with my reverse osmosis (RO) system clogging the line. Even though the issue was not their fault, they unclogged the line, got the ice machine working, and explained to me how to resolve the RO issue. All of this was done at NO CHARGE. These guys are great. I highly recommend them.

The repairs went extremely well. They were very specific as to the problem;, explained clearly and in detail what they were doing each step of the repair. Their explanation of the procedure was clear and though. The cost of the repairs with the Angie's list was very reasonable. I would definitely call upon this company to repair my kitchen appliances.

I had an appt. within 2 hours. of initial call. Our repair tech Spencer called and arrived with in stated time frame. I was impressed with his professional , pleasant manner. He quickly diagnosed the issue ( clogged drain line) and took care of the repair within 45 minutes. He took time to explain what he is was doing and we had a good conversation during the repair. I would not hesitate to call them again for help with any other appliance issues. Hopefully no time soon! This is a good referral.

Tech arrived on time, quickly diagnosed issue with refrigerator. Had to make a follow on appt. to obtain part and complete work.

Carlos and his assistant showed up at the scheduled time. They identified the problem and let me know they had to order the part and it would take about a week to get to them. I had told them I had researched the problem and found it was a common complaint with LG water dispensers for this model of refrigerator and it happens at about the forth year of purchase. When the unit was pulled out Carlos showed me the tiny part that was broke and explained what it did and why the entire system was designed to have to be replaced instead of repaired. (This will be the last LG I ever purchase) On the return trip to install the unit I also told him that the next item people complain about is that the ice maker goes out. Carlos then really checked out that part of the unit and found the problem. Seems the ice maker does not close after dispensing the ice and therefore draws warm air into the ice maker making it go out. He then fixed this so it would not happen. KUDO's Saved me a replacement and repair costs!! I highly recommend this company for their professional and expert service!

Dan? I believe was his name that came by to help service our fridge. They literally had an appointment for me within two hours. He was right on time. The service was prompt and he double checked everything to make sure the part was correct for the issue. The gentleman was very friendly and knowledgeable. Issue was fixed in 20 minutes. The cost was appropriate and did not feel like I was overcharged.

They arrived on time. He was polite and told me what was wrong. He also showed me a book on how much it would be to repair before giving my 15% Angie's List discount. He was very nice and efficient. I would use him again.

I now have a new washer on order and soon to be delivered. I am very disappointed with Whirlpool for putting out such a faulty product after experiencing so many years of good service.

I called them this morning and Doug was out by12 noon to fix the refrigerator. It took him about an hour to defrost and unplug the freezer drain so that water wasn't flooding the refrigerator. Doug was a great technician, my dogs, especially Freckles, adored him. Doug could have spent the afternoon rubbing Freckles tummy and she would have been thrilled! Very good service and I would highly recommend them as they were fast to respond and the price was more than fair.

Originally the error code on the washer made it appear that it was a door lock issue. Manny replaced the door lock but found it still didn't work. He then had to order a new computer board for the washer. He expedited that delivery of the part so that I wouldn't be without the washer for any long period of time. He accommodated my schedule by coming over later than his normal work hours to replace it. He did it very quickly and my washer was good as new. This is not the first time that I have used Affordable Appliance for my repairs, and it will not be my last.

They came out on the same day I called. Found the problem and left for about an hour to pick-up the part. Installed the new part and even cleaned around the freezer while they had it apart.

Tech (Reed?) was awesome. Made correct diagnosis. Price was fair. Said if repair diagnosis is wrong they would refund charge. Were on time and quick follow-up. Would definitely use them again.

Great service! I called at 11:25 a.m. and my call was returned at 11:40 a.m. I was told that a service rep could come to my house between 2:00 and 4:00 p.m. the same day (which was a Friday) or the next day if that was better for my schedule. I requested same day service and the rep arrived at 2:45 p.m. His name was Rene and he was professional, polite and articulate. He quickly identified the problem, had the right parts with him and the repair was completed at 3:05 p.m. I was impressed by the whole experience...fast, easy and done right at a fair price. You just can't ask for more than that.

They cleaned everything up and used new parts to fix the refrigerator. They cleaned the fan and put it back in. I was very impressed with them. Mannie and David were real gentlemen and could not have been nicer. They were working very rapidly and were very professional.

Refrigerator is once again working properly.

After I realized that my refrigerator was slowly warming up, I called the repair shop I had used in the past (didnt really like them, but it was my only point of reference), they were not available for an appt for 2 days. Not acceptable for a refrigerator, I wanted the same day. I called 2 other companies, one discontinued service in my area last year and the other did not even call back. In a moment of frustration and not knowing where to turn, I joined Angies List. The first number I called was to Affordable Appliance Repair. Justine answered the line promptly and informed me that a tech would call me today to schedule an appt. Not 5 minutes later, Spencer called. He asked what time was best for me. . .What? Best for ME?? I was surprised. I mentioned that I could be home at the earlies to meet him at 2:15, he said he would call to make sure I was home. Sure enough, 2:10 Spencer called and said he was 5 minutes away. When Spencer took one look at my refrigerator he made his preliminary diagnosis and the possible cost would be in my range. When he everything removed, it was exactly as he stated. An hour later (actually I think it could be less) all was well with my refrigerator. Spencer and Affordable Appliance Repair have won my business! They were great, prompt and affordable! THANK YOU!

I lost a sock in the dryer days ago and then yesterday, the washing machine stopped mid-cycle. I called Affordable appliance and was told by the very pleasant young woman that someone would call me soon. soon was minutes later. I was told that Spencer would be at my home in a few minutes. He was! He retrieved the sock (yeah) but sadly, my fifteen year old washer need more repair than the cost of a new one. The service charge was affordable and Spencer was helpful and professional. will definitely recommend them and use them again when my 15 year old frig starts to act up. Oh, and one of the things I really liked: spencer was a company employee, judging by his uniform with the company logo. refreshing to know who you are talking to!

Very reasonable. After shopping for a new washer/dryer set we decided to bite the bullet and fix the washer. Texted the technician, he responded with a price to fix and a time to be there. He was there on time, replaced the part quickly, and all is well. Would definitely use them again.

I called about 9:00 and they said they could have someone there between 11:00 AM - 1:00 PM. Today! On a Friday! I figured I would have to wait at least a day or two. The serviceperson called at 11:00 AM and showed up ten minutes later. He showed me how he could pull up the error code on the machine. He then compared it to the list of error codes on the manual that was located inside the panel of my machine. Who knew? The code said it was some switch so he left for 25 minutes to pick up the part and returned promptly to replace it. No other error codes appeared. It has been working wonderfully all day. And I had a LOT of laundry.

Manny showed up, and brought his son. He spent an 1 hour and a half repairing the drawer. I supplied him with a rivot gun. He repaired, but found cracked rails for the ice drawer. He installed new (plastic) rails. Priced the rails at $69 a piece. I found that expensive. I provided him with a check for the bill. Two days later the draw falls on my wife's foot. Another service provider quoted the rails at $17 a piece. The other service provider quoted me much cheaper on other parts as well. Spoke with Ken, because I stopped payment on the check. Explained that the rails broke, and that he over paid on the parts. He said that they could come get the new rails and leave the broken ones. They sent me a letter threatening that I had stolen property. I returned the rails, and he is continues to contact me.
