Great! They called when they were 15 minutes away. They arrived early on in the 2 hour window. They were friendly, knowledgeable and professional. They got to work right away, knew exactly how to dismantle and put back together the range, and were very nice. They even checked the dishwasher and found that it wasn't leaking but that someone had put too much soap in it so it overflowed. No charge! Wonderful! I will call them again!

Jerry came out to service the microwave the same day I called. He gave me a two hour window and he showed up when he said he would. It was determined the microwave door switch was not working. (And my slamming the door didn't help). Jerry installed a heavy duty switch, tested the oven with some sort of gadget/gauge that lit up when the oven was spinning. I don't know about you but I depend a great deal on my microwave. Jerry picked up all of scraps and disposed of them. Jerry was interesting but he also was able to talk and work at the same time.

They were great. There was only one little hitch, because they had to move my dryer out of the way as well to be able to get back to the washer to repair it. And when they put the washer and dryer back in place, the tubing that goes from the dryer to the exhaust vent and then goes out your house, had inadvertently become disconnected just from moving the machinery around. So I did have to have them come back out and redo that. But he did it promptly and it was correct, so it really wasn't a big deal. It could happen to anybody.

I have had Manny repair many appliances over the years. He is courteous and knowledgable. He was able to repair my refrigerator the same day of my call for service. Thank you.

Simple fix of washer. What I really appreciated was the prompt response to my request and the same day service. The repairman arrived per his scheduled appointment time.

Spencer was right on time and was very efficient in repairing my freezer. He explained what was wrong and what needed to be fixed. He completed the job in about 40 minutes. I would definitely hire the company again.

The part was $23 on Amazon and the You Tube video showed that it would take about 15 minutes. I figured I'd be better off hiring someone than tackling it myself. The entire team was super polite. The person that answered the phone, the scheduler and the person that did the work. I'd give them straight A's with only one exception. The get a C for price because a C is average. All companies need to charge for their work. It's how the system works. But the bill was $165 and the installer was in our house for literally 10 minutes. I'm talking from the time the doorbell rang to him walking out with the check. When he said the price for the purpose of filling out the check, the Angie's list discount seemed foreign to him. Like he'd never heard of such a discount. Needless to say I got it. Bottom line...an overall good experience and I'd certainly use them again. But make sure you ask for any advertised discount.

Everything went great. I called in the morning and Affordable Appliance was out by noon time. By 1PM the refrigerator was fixed and nothing was lost to melting or spoiling. Very quick and very efficient. Would recommend highly.

The repairman called within 2 hours of my initail contact to arrange a repair date. He arrived on time after having called when he was on his way. He was very efficient and was honest about the cost of repairs. In addition, I saved 15% with the coupon that was offered through Angie's list. I am very satisfied with the quality of service and would definitely call them for any future appliance repairs.

Spencer examined my dryer, and determined that the dryer was still heating but the heat wasn't making it to the drum. Diagnosed a bad timing element. Came back a few days later with a new timer (approx $200 repair). The new timer didn't fix the problem and he determined that the computer board was bad. He advised me that since that part was an approx $400 repair, I'd be better off putting that money toward a new dryer. All I was charged was $55 for the service call. Spencer was on-time for our appointments, and didn't mind my hovering to watch the dismantling process.

Showed up on time, gave an estimate on the spot, ordered the part and came back 2 days later to install. Prompt, efficient and would most definitely call again for any appliance repair.

I called and indicated I wanted to see someone asap. The receptionist told me she wasn't in charge of scheduling and would have someone call back. No one did.

Quoted $55 plus parts on the phone. On site I was told it would be over $300. I said I would purchase a new stove and suddenly the price was $177. I needed it fixed for a tenant so I went ahead. The 15% Angie's List discount was not honored. They charge what they think they can get away with.

I messaged the provider to get a quote on dishwasher repair. They responded the same day with a request for the model number, which I sent right away. I then waited three weeks without receiving a response. At that point I followed up with them to see if they had received the model number I sent. They responded the same day to let me know that the model number did not look right. I did not pursue the inquiry any further.

Called and was able to have a repairman out same day. Very responsive, great service. There were fairly major issues with the fridge/freezer, price of repairs was discussed carefully in advance. Would absolutely hire again.

Robert, with Affordable Appliance Repair, installed a new ice machine for us a year or so ago and we were very pleased with the service. So we called again and this time he replaced our garbage disposal. He came out and figured out the problem, got the part, and was back and had it installed within 2 hours. He was efficient and personable and we got a nice Angie's List discount. Very happy!

I called and they returned my call within 30 minutes. They gave me a time of between 3 and 5 pm. They called 30 minutes prior to arrival. They were professional and explained everything. They work with Dacor, which was great, as I ordered new dishwasher racks from them and they will arrive within 4 days. Would use again, without a doubt. One of the best I have used.

It went very well! I called and gave them my information; a service tech called me back within a 1/2 hr and was at my house within 2 hours! He was very professional, wore his company ID on his shirt in plain view, introduced himself (by name, not just what company he was from). He listened to my description of the problem; performed a few tests; then told me what the problem was. He was able to give me an exact price to replace the faulty part, which included the part, labor, taxes, etc. I found that to be very helpful - usually I get only the cost to replace the part and an estimated final cost. I will use this company for all my future appliance repair needs.

Our freezer went out and we called and requested an appointment. They were here less than 1 1/2 hours later. Incredible! They fixed the problem at a cost much less than I feared. We're delighted with their response time and ability to fix it at an acceptable price. They were very professional and pleasant. We will definitely contact them again if needed.

I called and spoke with Dalton about noise issues that sounded like bad bearings with my LG Trom front loading washer. Dalton was very polite, and discussed my options and possible repair costs of the unit. Although we did not use their service, I felt that I was getting good honest information that helped me to decide not to waste my time doing a repair due to age of the machine, and cost of the repair.

Manny was late and didn't arrive until 9:45. He came in and looked at the appliances with our maintenance man. He called at 10:23 and I missed his call. When I returned his call at 10:25 Manny said that he would charge $55.00 per refrigerator to clean the coils on the filters. I asked him if we could get filter and he said no. I asked told him that I really needed the filters and it would be pointless to clean the coils if there was not going to be a filter in the frige. I didn't approve his quote. He then got angry saying that he already started cleaning the filters. I told him that he was there for a quote. I asked him about fixing the dishwashers and he said that he would charge me another charge since the other house was across the road. This is not what he previosly told me. I finally told him that we would not need his service and we would go to another vendor. The entire conversation was ridiculously unprofessional, unorganized and overall a bad experiance.

Had a washing machine parked in a garage for 3.5 years. Had a house built, had the movers install the machine, and after they left, all the machine would do is "buzz" when I tried using it. Called Affordable Appliance Repair and they said they could head out the same day to take a look. Jerry showed up, on time, and took a look at the machine. First thing he noticed was the "flood proof" hoses that I had used to replace the originals with. I was nervous of having my washing machine on the 2nd floor of a home, so me being the astute consumer that I thought I was decided on taking the Home Depot employee's advice and got the flood proof hoses. Jerry was not a fan. He replace those hoses with a new regular set and wouldn't you know it the washing machine fired right up. In addition, and this is key, he opened up the head unit and told me how the 2nd most frequent cause of a flooding washing machine was a little hose that came loose in the head unit that is almost never tied down the way it is supposed to be tied down. So he pulled out a zip tie and tied it down for me. Also zip tied the drainage tube to prevent it from coming loose. Also leveled the machine for me. And also gave me a few tips on the Dryer as far as common things that could go wrong and work arounds. Gotta say a very positive experience and I highly recommend Jerry if you can get him. He probably spent an extra 2 minutes to address a few other possible issues for me to prevent potential future head aches. I really appreciated that. I asked him for a refridgerator magnet, sharpied his name on it, and will be using them again in the future. Thanks to Angie's List and their reviews to get me in touch with a company I will certainly be using again in the future if I need them.

They were able to be here the day after I called and were on time and friendly. They were very honest both on the phone and in person about my options and pricing. They even gave suggestions to try before calling a repairman next time.
