My refrigerator stopped working on a Friday. I called several repair places, but they were booked up until the middle of next week. Affordable Appliance said they would be at my home within 2 hours, and two repairmen arrived in 1-1/2 hours! They gave me the prices for what it might be, stating that if it is the compressor, I might even want to replace the frig rather than do an expensive repair. They said dry ice could be put in the frig to keep the food safe. However, it wasn't the compressor, only a relay that regulates the compressor. They were helpful, friendly, informative and efficient.

I called Affordable on a Friday. The answering service said they would call me on Monday. That was OK with me. About an hour later, Manny called me and said he was about 5 minutes away from my home and asked if he could come and see what was wrong. That took me by surprise but he and a helper got here in about five minutes. He came and diagnosed the problem in about 5 minutes. I knew his diagnosis was right since I have had this problem several times in the past! He quoted me a price that was considerably less (and I mean considerable) less then the estimate from another company that had done the same thing before! He said he would order the parts. They came a day later then he estimated but he called and kept me informed. He was was willing to even come on Saturday to install the parts but we had other commitments and we scheduled for Monday. Manny came Monday with his helper and did all the work in a very satisfactory manner! I found out that both his helpers were his Nephews that he was training. Both were as professional as Manny! Our fridge has now been running cold and quiet for over a month and I couldn't be more pleased! I feel confident that Affordable and Manny will stand behind their repairs and our fridge will continue to run without problems! Thanks!

They were able to come out the same day that I called. I asked for a quote on service and was told they would have someone call me back. Within 30 minutes, I received a phone call back and was given a regular price quote and since I was an Angie's List member, I received another discounted members quote. I was not at home when the Tech arrived for the service so when I called to confirm with my daughter that all was well, she said the price on the invoice was the "regular" quoted price and not the Angie's member pricing. I asked to speak to the tech (Charlie) as there seemed to be some confusion on my quoted price and he also wanted proof that I was an Angie's list member and or coupon. I stated that I had spoken with a representative prior to agreeing to the service call and that I had been given the approval for the member pricing. I ended up calling the office number to ask for assistance and the tech was doing the same on his end. End result, I received the Angie's list member discount of 15%. However, I was charged Sales tax on the Regular Non-member pricing, and charged sales tax on the entire invoice pricing which I should have been charged sales tax on the parts only, not taxed on the entire invoice, which majority is labor. I understand Charlie's (Tech) position on what he is told to charge, so I would recommend before the service begins the price on the invoice given matches what the main office quotes you before any service takes place, and an understanding on how Sales tax is charged.

Tech was prompt polite and professional. explained fault and replacement procedure. Also upfront about cost of repair.

Carlos was punctual and very courteous. He was very careful to make sure everything went back together correctly. I was very happy with the entire repair. My washer is now quiet and not screaming from worn drum bearings. I would highly recommend this provider for any large appliance repair.

The service man showed up at exactly the time set for the appointment. He was courteous and friendly. He started the repair by removing the knobs on the dryer. He put the knobs back on and the dryer started right up! I had tried that myself with one of the knobs the previous day but didn't get the same result. Anyway, he said since he hadn't had to do any repair, he wouldn't charge me for the service call. I appreciated being able to get a appointment so quickly and that the technician was right on time. I appreciated his simple approach. I especially appreciated his generosity in not charging me for the call. I will definitely call Affordable Appliance Repair in the future if I need help with this kind of problem.

I would use this company again. The staff was helpful and courteous. The technician was very straight forward in explaining the cost of repairs and why it would take so long. Although nothing could be done at this time to fix it, I would use this company again just based on this positive experience.

The fridge side of our side by side was not holding temperature. We searched the "List" early in the morning and decided on Affordable appliance repair out of Chandler because of their stellar reviews and proximity to our home. They responded right away. Scheduled an appointment for that afternoon and professionally handled the problem.From office staff to field operations this company is on point. Very well run and job well accomplished. They completely exceeded our expectations. They even called us the next day to follow up and make certain we were happy with our newly installed sensors. It took a day for the fridge to acclimate. "Like they knew that". Amazing

Our refrigerator had a leak with water running out from the bottom. I called to schedule a repair appointment with Affordable Appliance Repair and their receptionist said they would have a service man call back to schedule an appointment. Within ten minutes, the call came back and the service man, I believe his name was Spencer, asked if I was going to be home so he could come right over. Within 15 minutes he was at my door. He checked out the refrigerator, and the faucet for the water to the fridge, since even though it was turned off the refrigerator was still leaking. He found a very small leak from one part of the water system for the ice maker and the door water unit, said the faucet needed a repair, and that the ice maker needed a new piece that had been damaged because the water never completely turned off. He told me before hand what the cost would be by pointing out the standard repair price from a book he had, and also told me that I would get the Angie's list discount. He asked if he could come back in about an hour to an hour and a half with the new part. He was right on time getting back and took 30 minutes to do the repairs needed. He was polite, professional, quick and thorough. I thought the price was a little high, but since I didn't check with any other repairman, and they did the work so quickly, I gave them an A for it. I was very impressed because we had waited almost two weeks to call a repairman, and then when I did it was fixed immediately. Great Service. Definitely would used them again.

Our refrigerator quit on Labor Day, and several services that I contacted could not get out until 3 days later. Affordable came out the next morning, and the repairman, Dave, was exceptionally friendly, polite, and efficient. He found that the main computer panel was out, had one on his truck, and replaced it all within a few minutes. He also vacuumed out the coils and fan. Couldn't be more pleased with all aspects of the service, including the price, with a discount for using Angie's List.

On the first visit, they fixed my ice maker very quickly for less than I was quoted by other repair shops. About a month later my dryer would not start and I called them again They came out and took it apart and found that the switch was stuck and I did not need a new motor. Both times they explained the problem to me and were very polite. They were quick to respond and timely for their appointment.

They made themselves available in a short notice. They did a good reliable job, acted professionally, told you what it would cost and pretty straight forward.

The issue is still not resolved, but they were ok.

They did their best to diagnose and fix the problem, it was very difficult to figure out. Their repair did not work and they refunded my money so I could purchase a new unit. I appreciate their professionalism and their promptness in returning my money. I will definitely use them again.

The tech, David, is excellent at what he does and with people. Great service. Clearly explained to us what the problem was and what the options were. Provided us the exact cost prior to doing the repair. Made the repair and was in an out in less than one hour.

The technician, Spencer, arrived right on time (I called at 9:15am and he showed up at 10:00am, he said he'd be there between 10 and Noon). He was very clean cut and kind, and got right to work. He quickly diagnosed the problem with the main circuit board and gave us some options on replacement. These circuit boards are not typically available without ordering replacements from the manufacturer, but they know a company that repairs these on a regular basis, and they have a few on-hand. He called in the part, then ran to pick it up, and was back to get the part replaced within 45 minutes. He just left (it's 11:40am), and the fridge is running great. He even made sure we were reminded about the possibility of spoilage on certain dairy and meat items...just reminding us to be safe, not sorry. I would definitely recommend this company for the prompt response, professionalism, and fix of the problem. The 90-day warranty on the parts and the 1-year warranty on the service, were all great, too.

It went well. Service man knew his job well and was finished in less than one hour including cleaning the vent lines. Price was very reasonable.

We originally contacted Day and Night Air, in which they don't offer this kind of service work and recommended Affordable Appliance Repair which I found here on Angie's list and was very happy with all the good feedback. In the listing it showed that they were closed on Saturday, so I was a little bummed out, but we decided to send in a request for a service call and wait for availability. To our surprise we received a call from the owner within 20 minutes and said he had people already out in the area and would schedule us a visit. Within an hour Carlos and another tech (sorry I cannot remember your name as we had Cox Cable and Cox Cable security techs here at the same time) were here, they diagnosed it quickly and they were able to get the parts we needed quickly and had us completely fixed within an hour. We all the havoc going on in our home at the time along with our indoor security team of 5 Chihuahuas, both gentlemen were very courteous, kind and very professional. I would highly recommend this company for any and all appliance repair. We certainly will be using this company for all our future needs. Thank you!

Very personable repairman, who also knew exactly how to fix the problem and did fix it, in about 30 minutes. Couldn't have asked for any better service.

Manny came the same day I called, brought all the parts with him, and did an excellent job repairing my fridge. Only took about 90 minutes.
