Hiring a management company is very much like forming a relationship. Each party needs time "to adjust". Time to see what has been done to the community, what needs to be done in the community, and most importantly what the community will need to do to protect itself. Paul & Sue, and their competent staff, is very professional, and most of all has integrity. They have been a HUGE asset to my time as a board member and our property values now reflect that.
PRM can help you learn the ropes on keeping your community accountable, infiltrating new procedures that will help keep up property values, and basically how to address certain issues so the community can overcome them and everyone can benefit.
But, it does take & need actual home owners, who live in the community, to step up and volunteer their time! A management company cannot run a community all by itself, from afar, it needs a few individuals to be accountable, be involved, communicate with them, and most of all be willing to see the 'end result'...... being that your property values increase because it becomes attractive to new buyers.
Remember, you are only as strong as your weakest link in your community. In my personal opinion any poor reviews about this company on Yelp or any other ratings site are unwarranted and possibly from people with delinquent accounts. Most HOA's fall apart from lack of home owners involvement, home owners not paying their dues, and poorly chosen board members who's own decisions are not in the best interest of the community..... and therefore PRM is forced to act on "their request".
PRM has been GREAT for our community because we have formed a cohesive relationship with them and now our community is flourishing. PRM can be a big help to keep your community progressing too if you are willing to form the relationship and be active in your community..... give PRM a try, you won't regret it.
