Rob, the owner, came to give us an estimate for restoration of our Saltillo tile, which had been worn and neglected for several years. He was punctual and very professional. He evaluated our tile and assessed our expectations. Rob was very forthcoming and realistic about the outcome we could expect and had photos of previous jobs done on tile with the same degree of wear. He offered the pros and cons of cleaning/resealing versus stripping/resealing. As another option, he suggested concrete flooring with another company after we verbalized our discontent with Saltillo. We opted for the cleaning/resealing. Eric came out initially to do grout repairs and did a fantastic job (in addition to listening to our life story from my dear but very talkative father-in-law, who stayed at the house while the work was done). Eric arrived promptly on the day of cleaning and resealing. He was extremely professional in both his manner and appearance and very pleasant. He proceeded to do the prep work, which he did efficiently and very neatly. He was joined later by James, who was equally professional and pleasant and did a great job with tile repair. The 20 year old floor looks great and came out better than I anticipated. I so appreciated the help moving furniture back into place. Just as they were leaving, I received a call from Rob asking how the job went. I am very happy with the outcome and so impressed by this company. They work like a finely tuned machine and offer superb and very personable customer service. Highly recommended!!

Wonderful. James worked on it for over 9 hours. Very meticulous worker -- including clean up. He had a shop vac for all the dust and then wet mopped the entire kitchen floor, hall and entrance way.

Erik and Derek arrived at 7 am. They moved furniture and rugs. They then proceed to clean, dry, and seal our travertine flooring as described above. The work took 9 1/2 hours, given travertine tiles covered more than 2,200 square feet. Upon completion, they moved all furniture and rugs back to the appropriate location. They recommended filling some tile holes and we will be doing that shortly.
All work was done as promised. The crew was courteous and respectful. We highly recommend this firm.

They are one of the best companies I have dealt with. Rob Edwards, the owner, was great he came out to do the estimate. He was prompt and very knowledgeable. We called to schedule the service and 5 days later the service man was here. The entire staff is very friendly and pleasant to work with. Their quality of work is outstanding. Our tile has never looked better, it even looks better than it did when it was brand new.

This was a perfect job from start to finish. Rob came out, explained the work and gave us a price. His men arrived on time on the appointed day and worked efficiently and effectively all day. We remained home and were able to access rooms as needed even though our entire house is tile. When they were done, the floors were amazing!!! I was hesitant to apply the grout stain at first, but strongly recommend that it is truly worth the extra cost and will undoubtedly stand us in good stead in the future. This is one of those services where more upfront probably saves in the long run.

Rob and his team are very professional, knowledgeable and nice to boot! They worked on my light-colored, 12" ceramic tiles and grout for almost 12 hours - it was a huge job! In addition to cleaning the grout between the tiles, they re-grouted a lot of places where the baseboards had detached somewhat from the floor due to deterioration. This extra grouting was not in the original estimate but they decided, once they were in my home, that in order to make the job perfect, it needed to be done. I was not charged extra for what turned out to be a lot of extra work.
My floors look beautiful and I got some great tips on how to keep them that way! Rob also gave me some tips on cleaning windows and grouting my shower. :)

After the first conversation and a misunderstanding on dates to come to the house to provide an estimate I gave this business an F. After resolving this issue, Rob Edwards came to the home, provided an on the spot estimate and emailed us a copy right away. He took his time in explaining the process of cleaning, replacing the tiles and why they could be cracked, products they use, the staining process and the length of time from start to finish.
Derrick and James did and excellent job. They explained the process, what they would do first and what noise to expect. When filling a bucket in the stainless steel kitchen sink they put down a towel first to avoid scratching the surface, masked off the carpet areas, & used a drop cloth on the carpet area where needed. The cracked tiles were replaced first. James replaced a cracked tile and did a L shaped cut which the original tile had two cuts. After cleaning the grout and tiles (which are 18 years old) they stained the grout which makes the kitchen, entry way, two bathrooms, & laundry room look brand new. We had new tile installed three years ago in a hallway which joins the old tile in the laundry room and bathroom. It now looks like all the tile was installed at the same time and the grout matches.

Wonderful experience! Prompt, courteous, professional workers we were pleased to have in our house. They cleaned saltillo that had previously been sealed incorrectly by another company then applied three coats of acrylic sealer to approx 1500 square feet of tile. All this was done within one day and they moved rugs and heavy furniture back in before they left. The floors are absolutely beautiful!! And they left detailed written instructions on how to maintain them in the future. We highly recommend this company.

It was back & forth between them and the company we chose to do the work. Finally, it came down to the price. They quoted $1800 for the work after negotiation. The original quote was much more than that. They have excellent reviews on Angie's List. The representative was very professional. He is an excellent sales person for his company. He stressed that the tile is the only work that they do and it is their only business. The quality is their foremost concern. They are very particular about every aspect of the job. It has been just the price and it just seems so much higher than anybody else. When we told him about that he did say he could come down a bit. When he came out, we chatted a lot. He spent a good bit of his time and he really wanted his job. If we wouldn't have found the company we went with, we would have gone with them. We would highly recommend them. We get what we pay for.

It's been three years since I last had my floors/shower cleaned and sealed. I had hired Arizona Tile & Grout care back in Dec 2009 when I first bought my house and I was only moderately satisfied with the results. This time around I got three estimates (one from Rob and two from other contractors). One of the quotes was from a company in Phoenix that was insisting I wouldn't be happy with just a cleaning/sealing, but instead I should get a "restoration" that involved a mild polishing/honing of the travertine (which was obviously more expensive).
After considering all the quotes, I decided to go with Rob since he was a) willing to honor the same price he charged me back in '09, b) had a stellar reputation on Angie's List, and c) assured me that they've only gotten better since 2009.
The entire experience was great from start to finish. Two technicians showed up on time and ready to work. They impressed me with their professionalism, attention to detail, and their work ethic. They surpassed my expectations in several areas -- for example, they even cleaned areas that I told them not to bother with (e.g. the back corner of a storage space). They also took their time (at the very end of a long day) to crawl around the floor looking for missing or cracked grout (e.g. at door thresholds) to repair and holes in the travertine to fill. It was obvious to me that took pride in their work and wanted to make to do things right.
The floors looked absolutely great after they were done. I felt like I just had brand new floors installed. In retrospect, I'm really glad I didn't bother with the more expensive honing job, since I'm not sure my floors could look much better than they do now.
Next time I need my floors cleaned, I won't hesitate to contact Arizona Tile and Grout Care.

Rob returned my call within a day, and we set up a time for him to review the floor. He arrived on time, made a good assessment of the job, and was clear about what could be done and had some good suggestions. We did not end up scheduling the work because of our own time constraints over the holidays but if we do decide to go ahead in the future, we'll give them a call first!

Cleaned, re colored grout, sealed granite tile counter tops. We played telephone tag but he was persistent. Honored a coupon, which was great. Profession al and estimate was what was expected. What I really liked is that he would not let me leave a check with the worker. H wanted to make sure I was satisfied, and then would bill me. Great job!!!! Looks wonderful. Fair price.
