The Master's Touch Cleaning Service

We have been using The Master's Touch housecleaning services since March 2012.  The housekeepers always arrive when promised and do a wonderful, thorough job.  They are professional and perform their job quickly and efficiently.  Joanne, the owner, communicates with us regularly, sending e-mail reminders of the date and time the cleaning crew will arrive. We have had to change our scheduled cleaning days on a few occasions and Joanne has been very good about arranging for an alternate time.   We would definitely recommend The Master's Touch to our family and friends!

Communication with this company is extremely difficult.  They set a time for a initial cleaning and sent 4 people who were an hour late.  They did not communicate very well and demanded payment half way through the cleaning.  I had a coupon that wasn't taken into consideration.  They did an ok job cleaning, the first time.  I set up an ongoing cleaning every 2 weeks and they never showed.  It was difficult getting the time set for the cleaning and after being an hour late, I cancelled the appointment.  I received a very snotty message from the person scheduling the cleaning.  I would not recommend this company.  Very costly and not punctual.

Overall, it couldn't have gone better. Joann was a pleasure to work with in setting things up and getting the schedule set, even though it meant doing some juggling at her end, which I appreciated greatly.   She responded quickly to my emails, and answered all my questions thoroughly.  She even sent me an email confirming my cleaning day and arrival time of my cleaning team.  On cleaning day, the team arrived on time, worked hard the entire time, and cleaned everything exceptionally well.    Joann had estimated it would take four people 4-5 hours to deep clean on the first visit, which sounded ample to me!  A few minutes before the five hours was up, the team leader apologized and let me know that a couple of areas were not finished, and if we added a maximum of another hour, an additional charge would apply.   I was given the option of stopping or continuing, and I chose to continue.  They had worked hard the entire time, and I understood the need for additional time.  Afterward, I was informed that Joann had chosen not to charge me for the extra time after all!    I was delighted anyway, and even moreso when I heard that!     Later I was thinking how nice it was having a clean house to enjoy again, and I realized they had cleaned expertly for 20-24 man/woman hours in one chunk.    No wonder it is hard to get it all cleaned when I can only give it dibs and dabs of time here and there.    It never ALL gets done before it's time to do some things over again!      I plan to continue with regular service on a monthly basis.    I give The Master's Touch, Joann, and my wonderful cleaning team two thumbs up, and a AAA rating.    Licha, Sofia, Sylvia, and Roberto, you are the BEST!    See you in a month!

We have the team in every two weeks to clean our house and they do an excellent job. Even my mom, who is meticulous, indicated they do a great job when she visited last week. Candidly, I was apprehensive about having someone else clean our house, although my husband was 'on board' ;). I like my privacy, I am OCD about germs and I like the house cleaned my way....but we just don't want to spend our weekends cleaning the house. In addition, we have 4 dogs, people over every weekend and don't always do a great job of picking up stuff around our house (you know that proverbial location where odd things land and are not put away timely?).
There are several different flooring/countertop types in our house - ceramic floors, carpet, granite countertops, travertine floors, marble countertops/tables, bamboo floors. They consistently use the correct products and there is no streaking or spotting.
There are some things I really appreciate: 1) The house does not smell like chemicals after the team leaves, 2) The team asks for feedback and takes action accordingly, 3) The team and owner are very polite, and 4) MOST IMPORTANT TO ME - They are consistent. We had other house cleaning services in the past and they would do a great job the first few times and then the quality deteriorated after that.
Thanks, Joann & team for making our lives a little less stressful and removing the ongoing 'discussion' my husband and I used to have about cleaning the house.

The crew was 5 minutes early and got right to work on high and low areas. The house looked great when they were done.

They cleaned every nook and cranny, and I would definitely use this company.  

Contacted this service after using a couple of others which started out great, but then the others spent less and less time and still charged the same. Have used this company for a few months now and am completely satisfied. From the first time, 4 people arrived to do the first deep cleaning and have continued to have the same 4 each week doing the same great job! They use furniture polish, clean the ceiling fans each time, clean the light switches, doors, baseboards, mop the floors, basically do a fantastic job each time!!!!! I highly recommend them for your housecleaning :)

Though the team of four cleaners arrived a little later than they were scheduled, two more cleaners arrived shortly after.  The six worked throughout my house until everything was cleaner than I have ever seen it.  They were here for more than three hours before they were satisfied with their work.  At the end, everything shined and there was not a rolling fuzz ball (from my two long-haired cats) to be seen anywhere.

They did a great job. They were very thorough, on time and very professional. I would recommend them to others. I would rate them highly and would use them again in the future; in fact, I am having them come back again on the 18th of October; they will be coming on a monthly basis. They are spectacular. I would have had them come more often, but my budget does not allow it.

Was absolutely FABULOUS.  It is such a relief to have a company that seems to be so trustworthy come in and take care of the things that my husband and I just don't have enough time to do.

Three women came and immediately went to work.
I showed them what I wanted done, and they did a general clean plus,(inside the windows)as well, and the high priority bathrooms, and kitchen.
I know how to clean, but not as well as these women.
I guess a man just doesn't have as high a standard, but I can appreciate what they did.

Crew of 3 arrived exactly when expected and did a through job. They even took down a nicknack collection from above the kitchen cabinets and washed them all before replacing. Nice extra touch!

They are dependable and consistent when they come. Overall, they do a good job cleaning, but we had to ask them not to dust off any clocks and computers because they tend to not work afterwards.

The team arrived on time to do a deep cleaning.  I was pleased with their professional behavior and work.  My house was clean when they left!  I'm having them back regularly to help me keep the house clean.

Easy to work with.  Very much like that that the foreman (-woman) is the same person each time.  Excellent english.  Used appropriate cleaning supplies on granite & marble.  Blind and ceiling fan cleaning a huge plus.  House sparkled after they were done (took about 4 hours initially, 2 hours on subsequent visits).

Carpet cleaning was done in a separate visit.  Overall did a fine job, however cleaning person was in a hurry and dragged hoses around corners, marring the white-painted baseboard (trim).  Apologized afterward.  Should have used plastic corner guards.

They were a delight to have in my home.

I contacted the service via the the company web site and Joann was fast to reply to my inquiry.  She provided detailed information on their services, what to expect, and the cost of the different options.  The cost for a deep cleaning was either $200.00 dollars or $25.00 per hour per person.  I opted for the $25.00 per hour per person because I wanted to be fair to the company since I had a lot of dust and the house had not been throughly cleaned in a long time.  A crew of four people showed up within the window of time on the date setup with Joann.  They got right to work and took did a great job.  I had a coupon from Angie's list for $25.00 dollars off the deep cleaning so it ended up costing me $175.00.  Even though I told the crew I was paying hourly they still finished within two hours and the cost would have been the same as the one time $200.00 dollar deep cleaning option.  I have decided to contract with them every two weeks for $80.00 now so I can keep up on the cleaning and always have a clean house.  You can also do $100.00 per month service as well.  This of course depends on the size of your home.   Mine is three bedroom and two baths (1675 Square Feet). The only thing I would suggest is to inform the crew of what repositories (garbage cans) are for trash and which ones are for recycling.  I have two blue ones with the recycle symbol and one white recycle can in the kitchen and they thought everything was trash so they put it all in garbage bags.  It wasn't a big deal but I try to do my part with the recycle effort so I will just let Joann know this for next time and I am sure it will be taken care of.

Masters Touch brought in seven people to clean a whole house top to bottom in just a few hours. I offered a maximum to which the bill could come in at, not knowing exactly how much work there would be. They were honest about working diligently and didn't run up the tab, but instead came in well below what I had offered. I would call them again, and would recommend to anyone.

I found Master's Touch on Angie's list and called them. Phone was answered promptly by Joann. She was very helpful and answered all my questions thoroughly. She also said she would email me more details which she did straight away. Initially I asked for a deep clean but after I went through de-cluttering my house for a garage sale and cleaning at the same time, found that I just needed routine maintenance from that point on. Joann was quite happy to start without a "deep clean" and we scheduled the first clean for a 11.30am-1pm window for arrival. All communication with Joann was very prompt and responsive. I even received an email back on Saturday/Sunday! A team of 4 women arrived on time, actually earlier than expected (about 10.30am), introduced themselves and set to work. They finished 2 hours later, but I am told that 1st cleans always take longer so expect ongoing cleans to take less time. The ladies worked thoroughly and carefully. I thought it was nice that they took extra steps to fold the toilet paper ends and fluff up the tissues in the box for decorative purpose - unexpected surprise. I also liked that they cleaned the glass sliding door leading out to patio, both inside and out. My only comment at final inspection was more detail required on the toilets that my son uses. There were yellow stains stuck around the seat hinges in kids bathroom and underside of seat in the half bathroom. The lighting is not the best in the half bath so easy to miss. When I pointed it out to the team leader she was very honest and said she was the one who cleaned the area and will remember for next time. I really appreciate that she admitted openly and was not at all defensive. The only other area missed was wiping of kitchen cupboard handles and a trashcan left unemptied. My next clean is later this week and I have no doubt they will do an excellent job, getting progressively better as they become more familiar with my house and what needs doing.

Great job,arrived timely,performed everything that they said they would plus a few extra things. Definitely will use them on a weekly basis. Very pleased. Highly recommend.

I trust them enough to allow them in when I'm not home, and I leave the check on the counter. It's so nice coming home to a clean house!
