Don, with Simply Better Plumbing, responded the fastest and set up a time to come out and look at my plumbing issue very quickly. The cast iron drain from my kitchen sink collapsed and I wanted to reroute a new drain around the house thru the yard to avoid tearing up flooring and concrete slab. Don was very helpful in providing options and providing quick pricing so I could make an informed decision. Don took the time to price multiple options for me. Don and his crew showed up on time, worked hard to complete the job the same day, and cleaned everything up once they were done. Overall I am very pleased with the work they did and will recommend them to others when I get the chance.

The scheduling was bad. When we hired them we thought the work was going to be done in 1 day. They were actually here 5 times based on a variety of issues. In addition some of the story in terms of what they were going to be doing changes several times. When the job was quoted we were told we were going to have a cut off valve installed in the house which never happened. Lastly, I called the office several times to express concerns and even left a message for the owner which he never returned.

These guys got paid in full. Made an error in piping location, preventing my gas stove from being installed...the same stove they were supposed to connect to the new pipe, but told me to finish it myself and left. Won't come back to correct and finish. Also these guys sat out on the driveway smoking near the gas meter they're working on. Real pros.

DO NOT HIRE THEM! We hired Simply Better to run a new gas line and install a water filtration system in our new home, which we are renovating. However, things did not go as planned. The work is still not finished, and we cannot get anyone to return a phone call or text. Damage was done to our home which has not yet been repaired/paid for. We have a hole in the side of our house for the gas line to be fed in which was not sealed, a gate post which no longer stands up straight, an exposed gas line running the length of our garage wall and now owe $400 to our contractor for repairs made due to the gas line installers leg going through our ceiling, causing drywall and insulation to come down onto our living room floor. Our home was also left unsecured by employees after they came to test the gas line with the back door standing wide open all night. We foolishly paid them in full after multiple requests for payment, thinking the work was complete and our contractor was reimbursed, but our contractor cannot get him to come out to finish what needs to be done on the gas line in our kitchen, and now phone calls and text messages go unanswered. I am hoping they do the right thing and complete the work paid for at our home since we are supposed to move into it next week and also pay our contractor for the additional work performed to repair our ceiling. Tom initially came out and met with us to give us a bid (and I believe did most of the work). He was pleasant and made us feel comfortable, which is why we hired them, but I am thoroughly disappointed in our experience with Simply Better. *UPDATE* Gas line has multiple leaks, including at the connection with our cook top. Contractor will have to rip out our brand-new cabinets at the cook top, because lines were NOT pressure tested as they said they were. And my phone number has now been blocked by Tom. And work stated above still has not been completed. Do yourself a favor and save yourself a great deal of stress by not hiring them. *SECOND UPDATE* After finally getting Tom (and another plumber when Tom could not actually perform the job) to come out to fix the multiple leaks in the line, this company had the audacity to try and invoice us to come out and properly complete the install of the gas line. Tom is trying to place all blame for the cook top fitting leak on our contractor, oh wait no, the drywall guy for putting a screw in the line (which there was no hole in the line), anything but take accountability for the poor work they did. Let us not forget the two main connection fittings installed by Simply Better both had significant leaks. I could hear the air movement on our security cameras. Perfect example of unethical business practices. Steer clear of this company.

Punctual, friendly and informative.

They did not do everything that was agreed upon at the start. It wasn't till my husband came home and looked at the job done that I realized how unfinished everything looked. Hoses to the toilet were just coming out of the wall with nothing covering the hole. We paid for a laundry box. It was never installed. After speaking with them, I was told it was on their desk and would be out the next day to do it. Weeks later, no box. If you want a cheap job and don't care how it looks, go with them.
