Description of Work: Purchased and installed new furnace and A/C

Description of Work: I had a fan motor go out on one of my AC units. After the motor was replaced we found that the 14+ year old compressor had also grounded out and needed to be replaced. Mike, the owner, was quick and GREAT as well as timely. The price albeit high was for a compressor and fan motor. He also inspected and tuned up my other AC unit for no additional costs. Hope not to have too but will use again if needed.

Description of Work: Fluid to stop freon leak in cool otherwise would have been very costly. So far so good

Description of Work: Mike was on time, courteous and professional. He inspected both our systems and a part did need replacement. Explained to us what it was and why.

Description of Work: Great service! Mike was prompt, as usual. He replaced an a/c part that was needed. Next, he thoroughly cleaned 2 a/c units that had not been cleaned by any previous techs from other companies. Having Action Air is a breath of fresh air and a sense of comfort.

Description of Work: If I could give this company an A+, I would!!! Mike Hall was professional and HONEST! I found Action Air on Angie's List. I liked his many positive reviews & felt comfortable with him when I first called on the phone, so we set up an appt. He came out the same day and was early for his appointment. The reason for my call was that y thermostat went blank and the heater and a/c weren't working. I had two other companies come out previously before Action Air and each told me it required a different, expensive repair. One of those companies said my main control board needed to be replaced for $415 and the other company said that I needed a bunch of new wiring for $630. I wanted a third opinion and that is why I called Action Air. Mr. Hall was SO honest. He said I needed a new fuse and that there was a short in one wire which simply needed to be repaired. He did the repairs and my total bill was only $86.00! I had also asked him to check my a/c units that were outside and I asked if I needed any maintenance on them. He told me honestly that they were fine and that they didn't need any work. What a refreshing experience to find a friendly, honest and decent repair company! I've never taken the time to write any online reviews of any companies, but I give him my highest recommendation. I will definitely use this company again and refer him to family and friends.

Description of Work: For my heating I used Action Air. It wouldn’t come on and they fixed it. It was over a holiday and they came out as soon as they could.

Description of Work: Furnace would not turn on. After inspecting furnace it appeared that a safety feature was overriding the furnace, probably due to dirty filters. The serviceman reset the manual switch and the problem appears to be solved. Otherwise, we discussed a part that might need to be changed if the problem occurs again. I had the free service charge coupon from Angie's list, so the visit cost me nothing and we are warm again. If the problem recurrs, I will definitely call Action Air again.
