They came out right away to check out my heating system. They saw the problem and fixed it. They were very honest and fair priced. I would definitely use them in the future.

Mike, one of the co-owners, can out and took a close look at both units. One unit passed with flying colors, the other had a cheaper capacitor that would probably not lasted the summer. Mike replaced the capacitor, replaced some weather beaten insulation, a bonus.He reviewed all his work and why he did what he did. Very professional, very friendly. He was right on time and got right to work.I was very pleased with his work and will use Action Air again for annual maintenance.

Mike was amazing. I called about 8 am and he was here by 10am. Upper A/C unit had stopped cooling and the high today will be 104. He was courteous, quick and performed the work at what I feel was a phenomenal price. I will recommend Mike Hall and Action Air to anyone I know in need of an A/C person! Thanks Mike!

I had a great experience. I called the company on Friday, late morning, explaining to Mike that my bedroom side unit was blowing hot air. I also requested both units be checked for the summer. Mike quoted me for the checkups and the per pound cost of the refrigerant, I knew the unit was leaking. Mike's quote was the best I had received and he was able schedule me for that Saturday morning. John was my service tech and he was prompt, professional and very customer friendly. He had no problems with me watching him and asking questions, their belief is an educated customer is a good customer. The invoice was actually less than quoted and I was not up sold at all. Action Air is my new heating and A/C company and I will recommend them.

I believed I had a faulty furnace motor. Action Air checked it out and found the motor to be good but the furnace fan was damaged. The fan was replaced with a higher quality fan. The air flow in the house was also adjusted and the coolant levels and efficiency were also checked on both the inside and outside units. Mike took a great deal of time explaining what was done and what was needed. The work was excellent. I plan on using this company for all my future heating and A/C needs. I live in the far west valley.

They have good service. They corrected the problem on the first visit.

Action Air was very responsive, scheduling service within 2 days of my call. John was very helpful in assessing the condition of our unit and even recommended some cleaning tips for dealing with pigeons that had been on the roof. He repaired hail damage by combing out the condenser. Their coupon waiving the travel charge helped us save money.

I bought a home in New River, Az. about 4 years ago. It has the original TRANE AC/Heatpump unit on the roof. I was out of town, when my daughter called me and said the AC made a funny noise and stopped working and smelled like something was burned. They turned the breaker off and called me, about 9:00am. I got on the internet and looked up AC repair places in the Phoenix area. Called several and all I got was " we are very busy and can't get to you for a couple of days!! We don't service your area." It is 115 deg. outside and I can't find anybody to come out and HELP. I finally called ACTION AIR and explained to MIKE what happened and asked if he works in the New River area. He said yes!!! I asked how many day's it would take to come and look at my unit and he said "RIGHT AWAY!!" I could not believe it. I thought they must be hurting for business, and I am going to pay through the nose for a new unit! LOL But what else could I do? My daughter called me about 2 hours later and said they were done and it was pumping COLD AIR, colder than ever!! They replaced the fan motor and replaced 3 other things??? and checked it out and said it was old but a very good unit and it should last for awhile, yaaaaa! ACTION AIR is the only one I will call when it is time to change TRANES!! LOL

They said it was okay and not to worry. He didn't even charge me! I would use them again.

We had two appointments. Our a/c was not blowing cool air. The first technician inspected our a/c unit and filter in the house and concluded that our interior filter was dirty and that cause the unit to ice up. We replaced the dirty filter and the problem persisted. Another technician came out the morning following our call. There was in fact a problem with the a/c unit. He repaired the problem and waived the service call because he was the second technician on the job. While I was disappointed that the real problem wasn't detected on the first service call, I understand how the dirty filter might have been mistaken for the only problem, The company did the right thing by waiving the second service call fee and our a/c is working again.I would recommend this service provider.

Called to ask for a service call because we have hot air forced out of our air conditioner before the air turns cold. The gentleman kindly explained that this is normal and not a problem. It's just Arizona. No Fuss, no worry.

I had a problem with my A/C and I had a tech out from our home warranty company come out. The tech got it up and going again but said I needed to get maintence work for my A/C to continued to be covered under the home warranty.He was happy to take care of it that day for a little over 300 dollars. I called AAA action, and Mike came out. He told me two things really did not need to be done but did it at my reqest to keep the home warranty company happy. All of it was done for 140 dollars VS. the 300 dollars the guy the warranty company sent out, He is honest, very helpful and did a great job. Our A/C unit is 30 years old and when we get our tax return in april, AAA will be our first call for a replacement unit.

We recently purchased a home and sure enough the AC went out right as the heat started. Mike was at our house within 30 minutes of calling him (worked out because he happened to be down the street) and he took a look and let us know our system was shot. We knew this was coming as the system was original (25 years old) and were planning on replacing it anyway. The system went out in the middle of the night on a Wednesday and Mike was there for us on Thursday and after getting some parts fabricated for us had it operating on Friday. He was friendly and prompt and made sure to take the time to walk through our options. Our Realtor originally recommended him and then when we found Action Air on Angie's List we knew he was our guy. We will continue to do service with Action Air in the future.

John arrived within 10 minutes of the scheduled time and proceeded to survey the job. He then sealed every register and return in the house with special tape and performed a duct leakage test with a dedicated machine that pressurizes the ducts and looks for losses. Upon getting the loss amount, he suggested we investigate the ducts for repairable leakage points. He carefully removed every register, sealed the ductwork leading to it and carefully caulked each opening?s edges. One duct required extensive repair as it had been very poorly re-routed when a dropped ceiling was installed long before I bought the house, and the rest just required what John called ?routine? sealing and caulking. After the sealing job was completed, John retested the duct leakage and I clearly saw that he had reduced it a significant amount. He cleaned up what little ?mess? he had made and helped me fill out the APS rebate form. When he left, he gave me a business card in case I had any trouble and also suggested a few other worthwhile home improvements that might save money with a quick ?payback?.

I have used Action Air for many years to service my a/c. They have always been prompt, fairly priced and efficient. Most importantly, they are honest. They have saved me lots of money when others would have profited from my ignorance! Great company.

Two or three weeks later the air went out again. I called them and left my name and number and not even a message. I was out, and I came back four hours later (and this was on a weekend), and their truck was in the driveway. The guy was up on the roof working on it. He explained the problem to me, replaced the part, and didn't charge me anything at all. They're two young brothers, just as nice as can be. Prices were very reasonable- just a great company.
