Great. They arrived at my home early, went right to work, checked that all watering zones are operational, advised on the seasonal dormant plants in yard, completed the job, and advised on the watering system settings. Reasonably priced as well!

The work was performed by an excellent and dedicated team. When we recently bought our home, the landscaping and water flow around the single story, slab based home was in serious need of work and improvement. Northern Arizona Tree and landscaping took our design sketch and made the end result even better. We are really very happy with the outcome.

Work was done as described. The crew was knowledgeable and professional. They did not take excessive breaks or spend unnecessary time talking. They did a excellent job cleaning up the yard after the trimming was completed.

Brad and his people did a nice job on what turned out to be a bigger, more time consuming project than he estimated.  The job was to clean up the woodlands on a 1 acre lot (tree and shrub removal and general trimming).  The overall results met expectations, however I could not rate them higher due to the big miss that was made in estimating the job.  The owner has a great deal of experience in the business so I did not expect him to underestimate the time required to do the job by 40%.  We paid a per diem, so the cost was 40% more than estimated.  When someone with his experience tells me with "high confidence" that a job can get done in 3 days I do not expect it to turn into 5 days.  In retrospect I would get a firm quote from them.

The service was excellent! The price was excellent! (I had 3 quotes and they were much lower than the others).  They cleaned up everything afterward very well. The owner was very good to work with.  I would use them again and recommend them to all my friends.

Shortly after I called Brad came out surveyed the property and took note of the work that I needed.  He gave me an immediate estimate and I agreed to the price on the spot.  He and a crew of two others came out while I was away and completed the job.  Brad knows what he is doing and did it to perfection.    You could not tell where the two removed trees stood because the stumps were cut below the ground.  The cleanup afterwards was meticulous.  When he sent me an invoice I was surprised because he had reduced his original bid!  I paid him the original bid price because I was very satisfied with his work.  I intend to use Northern Arizona Tree Service and Landscaping again soon to put in new trees and plants and to upgrade my irrigation system.  They are very reputable and do great work.  I highly recommend them.

They did what they needed to do and it was fine. They did a competent job and I was pleased with it. They were a little pricey. I probably wouldn't use them again.

The owner met me at the wholesaler to help select good tree specimens, then delivered and planted the trees in very hard soil without any difficulty. They had all necessary equipment on hand when they arrived, so the digging progressed smoothly and rapidly. The planting sites were properly prepared to receive the trees, and a water supply was established for each tree planted. Cracks in a flagstone patio were repaired by removing the existing stones, reshaping them as needed, and relaying them with new mortar colored using our choice of color. Two new sprinkler zones were added to an existing system. The area covered by the new zones was prepped for grass by adding a couple of inches of  topsoil. The topsoil they provided was of very nice color and texture and contained no rock. Much nicer than that provided by other companies we've used in the past. One small tree (8-inch trunk) was removed quickly without issues. The stump seemed to present no problem.
Several companies in the area can do the things detailed above. The difference with this company is the owner and the crew actually on the site doing the work. The owner is a working part of the crew, very personable, and is a good communicator. He's reliable, flexible, and makes sure the job progresses as expected. The crew is composed mostly of happy, polite young men and women eager to work, with older hands as well lending their experience to the team . They were all fun, and very easy to have around the house for a few days. Brad, the owner, watches for any additional previously existing trouble spots while they work and reports anything he sees that might need attention in the future. The prices are competitive, and they inspire confidence in their work.
But the real measure of a company is how do they handle things when something goes wrong. In our case everything went as planned, but after working with Brad I have confidence that if I called him with a problem it would be handled fairly, promptly, without a bunch  of stress, and to my satisfaction. That just seems to be how he wants to be known in his business. He says he loves Anngie's List and wants to be sure the reviews are good.
These guys are our landscape crew now. We will be using this company any time we have a project in the future. Several more are already planned as we can afford them. I look forward to working with them again. Now I have to find a doctor, dentist, and auto mechanic that are the equivalent of this company in their fields.

We found this business on Angie's list and because it was highly recommended we contacted Brad the owner to get estimates on extensive yard work we needed. Brad was quick to respond to our call and set up an appointment. We discussed all of our  various projects.  He gave  us great advice and within 48 hours provided an estimate of the various costs. His prices were extremely reasonable and we scheduled the work date. Brad and his crew showed up on time and worked for several days. They were courteous, professional, easy to work with, and answered all of our questions and concerns. They consulted us when decisions needed to be made and made sure we were pleased with their work. Clean up was immaculate.  We intend on using them for more projects.  This company was a PLEASURE to work with.
