I had just purchased my mobile home the last week of December and remodeled the entire inside. I had the original plumbing, that grey stuff, and as I began to install new fixtures on the inside, joints began to break. I made the repairs my self however in February, I received a call from my neighbor that water was flooding out from under my house and that he had shut off the main water line. In a panic, I called three plumbing companies explaining the situation and that because of my earlier experience with the plumbing, I not only wanted the new leak fixed but that I wanted to re-plumb my entire home. The first company went by while I was at work and said to fix the existing leak it would cost $250.00 and to re-plumb the house would be an additional $1,500.00. He left his quote on the back of his business card. The second company to show up was Courtesy Manufactured Home Plumbing. WOW, was I impressed. Not only did he identify my leak but HE FIXED IT! He called me at my office and said he'd wait for me to get home to discuss exactly what I wanted. This impressed me! After walking the job, Jerry wrote me a proposal identifying exactly what he was going to do including an itemized parts list. Again better than on the back of a business card. His proposal was $1,200.00 with the proposition that he would meet or beat any other proposal. The third companies proposal came at $3,500.00. I chose Jerry with Courtesy Manufactured Home Plumbing. Now the best part. He started work the next day and was finished the same day all while I was at work. Yes he had access to the inside of my home which I felt comfortable allowing him. Not only did he do the contracted work but he did additional work I asked of him for just a few dollars more. My little dog was caged while Jerry was working and I told him I didn't want to burden him with the responsibility of watching him if he was out. Well Jerry was kind enough to let Thor out while he was working inside which I was grateful for. Jerry's work was professional, clean, on time and on budjet. I have asked Jerry to do additional work for me sense, and will use him again and again. I recommend Jerry to anyone needing a plumber for any reason. Not only was his price fair but his work was excellent and on schedule. And yes, he is also a very kind man. Not a man of many words but a man who gets the job done. USE COURTESY MANUFACTURED HOME PLUMBING for all your plumbing needs. Sincerly, Robert Moore

"This was a complete Manufactured Home repipe with Pex Pipe, With New 40 gallon Manufactured Home Gas Water Heater, And a Designated Line Hot Water Recirculating Pump ran to bottom of Water Heater. ( 65 Feet from Front kitchen to Back of Home Water Heater ) Designated lines run water thru separate Hot Water line to Bottom of Water Heater..(More Efficient). Recirculating Pump units purchased in hardware stores have a cross link under sink and hot water runs thru cold line to recirculate, thus now you have hot water in your cold line. Not a very efficient system. Let us see what we can do in your home to have instant HOT water."

We have experienced several leaks in our plumbing under our home due to having Polybutylene pipe. We called him for an estimate and within a few days he came and gave us an estimate and told us he could do it in one day. We had received an estimate from the plumbing company who had been coming and repairing the different leaks, they estimated between $4,000.00- $5,000.00 and would take 2-3 days to do the job.

We called Courtesy Manufactured Home Plumbing back and he set us an appointment within just a couple of days. He arrived at the time he gave us and finished the job in one day!!!! He is very polite and professional.

We would and have recommended him to everyone who has a manufactured home with this defective piping under their home!!!!!

I am very pleased with the work done by Courtesy Plumbing. Mr. Frederick arrived on time and worked hard until the job was done. His appearance was clean, he didn't smoke, curse or listen to loud music while he worked . He was pleasant and friendly to talk with, the name of his company says it all. The job was huge and working under this unit is terrible, the ground is very hard, rocky and difficult to maneuver. He also replaced my 20 gal hot water heater with a new 40 gal one. I hadn't thought that was possible without extensive electric work. He explained how it could be done in terms I could understand. I am so happy with my new 40 gal hot water heater! I can't even begin to describe how wonderful it is to not worry about those constant leaks! I so wish we had done this years ago! The job was done by 3:00pm the cost was reasonable and appropriate. I would not hesitate to use Courtesy Plumbing again for any plumbing work.

"This Manufactured Home was in North Phoenix. Many, many, Repairs done on Polybutylene pipe thru out the years. It is Unfortunate that Home owners spend Hundreds of Dollars on repairs before a Repipe is Performed. Repiped the Home in Pex Pipe. Water Heater came from the factory as a 110volt, 20 Gallon Unit, for a 2 bathroom Home. Wiring was # 12, so was able to upgrade Breaker in Electrical Panel to 220 volt 2 pole and installed a new 40 Gallon Water heater. I reside in California and Jerry made the transaction smooth by trusting me enough to install the water heater a week before receiving payment for the service.  Jerry did not know me at all.  This was my first contact with him but he did what he said he would do, on time and in a professional manner.  I wish it didn't cost as much but I found out that these water heaters have gone way up in price since the last time I had one replaced.  I would use Jerry at Courtesy M H Plumbing again.  He made things easy.

Trustworthy individual. I would highly recommend him and I feel much more comfortable with my new piping installed. I no longer need to worry about a pipe breaking. Thank you Jerry.

The job went flawlessly.  Initial contact was made via phone, explained I needed new plumbing to get better rates on my home owners insurance.  This company specializes in removing polybutylene plumbing and replacing with new Pex plumbing.  He asked a few questions about the house, gave me a on-off-the-cuff estimate and I liked the numbers.  I asked how quick he could get to it and he said the very next Wednesday (I called on a Friday afternoon).
On Monday, Labor Day, he called and asked if he could stop by to introduce himself and get a better look at the house.  He stopped over in the time frame he quoted.  He was neat and clean and professional in appearance and demeanor.  He said the quote of $2,800 was appropriate and that he would start Wednesday morning at 7:30 AM.
He arrived at 7:30 AM, worked all the way through the day with only about a 10 minute lunch break and finished at 4:30 PM.  After completing the job, he checked for leaks, then cleaned up any mess and that was it.
All in all, he did very good work, all installations were clean and neat, fittings and valves appropriately placed, no leaks at all.  Couldn't ask for a better experience.
Response from Courtesy manufactured home plumbing
"This was a Large Home with Hard access to both Showers. Had to go thru Cabinets to get to and replace the Polybutylene Pipe. The Master Bathroom had a tub/shower combination and separate shower, not usually seen. Also a Tub/sink in the garage had to be repiped. Provided 1/4 copper pipe and ball valve shut off to Ice maker under kitchen sink area, for ease and quick shut off. This is 1 of Many Manufactured Homes this year repiped by our Company."

Jerry came to the job with everything he needed to complete it.  He did not leave or take a break for the approximately 5 hours it took.  Very professional and cleaned up all the old pipes etc. he removed.  I certainly recommend his work.  I read the review of someone unhappy he wanted them to call back and leave a message.  I was in business for 38 years and if I was very busy I would also ask someone to call back and leave their name, number and details so I would have the information....and not rely on my memory.  I had no problem doing this with Jerry and he got back to me in a very timely manner.  He is very professional and efficient.

Our water heater was making some noises and we noticed minor leaks.  We purchased what we thought was a suitable replacement but needed it installed.  We checked AngiesList.com for a suitable company and found Courtesy Manufactured Home Plumbing & Repair.  We called and left a message and received a prompt return call.  Jerry suggested a different water heater, which he picked up and brought with that afternoon.  (The difference in water heaters gave us a savings of nearly the entire installation fee!)  Jerry paid attention to detail in the work he performed and advised of other issues he noticed.  We will be calling him to arrange that service with him in the near future.  He is conscientious, clean and knowledgeable.

"This was a Customer in Cordes Jct. The water heater was a 40 Gallon ELECTRIC from Loews and for a mobile home. The difference from a Standard Electric water heater and a Mobile Home water heater are, (Mobile Home W H 150.00 more money, inlet and outlet on side if water heater not on Top, Existing pipe can be extended to top of Heater, Only ONE 1 Bottom Element in the unit NO top element so no fast recover) All these factores should be considered before purchasing a Manufactured Home water heater. You are paying more money for less Product. Only Gas water heaters need to say For use in a Mobile Home to Meet Code. Electric have no such code. Call if you have ANY Questions."

FYI All Gas Water heaters Must Be mark for a Manufactured Home to Meet Code. All other Water Heaters install not stamped For Manufactured Home will not meet a Sell Inspection. You will be left with the cost of a change out to sell your home."

The work went with little interruption to our use of the house and little evidence of such extensive repair.
We would not hesitate to recommend Courtesy Plumbing and Jerry Frederick for any kind of professional plumbing.
Response from Courtesy manufactured home plumbing
"This was second home for member in the villages, Dewey, AZ. The Showers here in both bathrooms were back to back, with one shower fixture being inexcessable. It also backed up on the wash machine wall. By cutting back some wall studs, I was able to reach in where wash machine fixture box was and remove old fittings and install new fittings and bring pipe over to wash machine area to hook up supply pipes. Water checked shower first, before installing wash machine shut-offs. Installed wash machine shut-offs and recheck for secure repipe. Not many, but unfortunately some homes have this situation in them. My Company will do all needed to acommodate your repipe needs."

I was not given the opportunity to possibly do business with Mr
Frederick. I hate to shed a poor rating on his glory! Trust me I would
have loved to give him a great rating!! But Im not so happy. He has yet
to  return my  2nd Call  where he asked that I call back and leave a
message with what I needed done!! What?!  This was a first for me!!! I
wanted to possibly hire him and he put ME to WORK right off the bat!!! I
called him and he was on the other line. He was on his cell and he had
said that he had my number. Customer service would have said "I
appreciate your call and opportunity to earn your business and  Ill call
you right back  okay?!  Ill help  out with the business overload. Ill
move on down the list of service providers.

Jerry from Courtesy Manufactured Home Plumbing replaced defective pipe in my home.  Mobile homes had defective pipe installed from 1976 to 1996. Some people were able to join in a class action lawsuit to get their pipes replaced.  That ended in 2005, so I was unable to participate and had to have the pipe replaced myself.   I had some previous work done by Courtesy and was impressed with the company.  So I had them remove all the defective pipe and replace it with new pipe in my 28 X 60 mobile home.  He individually wrapped each pipe so it will not freeze.  This job cost $2525.00.  I asked him to replace a couple of faucets providing access panels and service my 2 toilets which needed valves and other things.  For this extra work, I paid $327.00.  He also did some repairs, replaced faucets, and gave me some parts for free.  Again, I was very impressed with the service from this company.  Jerry was punctual, came at his scheduled appointment and cleaned up afterwards.  He even asked to use the vacuum to clean up.  I would definitely recommend his plumbing and his service to re-pipe mobile homes to others.
