They were punctual and timely (done is 1.5 days), polite, professional and just very nice. My new roof covering looks great and adds tremendous value to my flat roofed home that I was unable to get anyone else to put a roof on. His foam product was the perfect solution.

He explained the necessary repairs and recoating process, ensuring that I fully understood the scope of the project and any potential challenges. George even offered to seal the openings where the wasps kept getting under the tile. When it came time to commence the work, GM Contracting, LLC displayed efficiency, skill and care for my property. The replacement of my porch fascia was executed flawlessly, with meticulous attention to detail. The team not only ensured the fascia's structural integrity but also enhanced its visual appeal and they addressed the damaged areas on the foam roof to restore the roof's integrity. Unlike other roofing companies Iâ ve worked with, the company owners and family team were onsite for the entire job ensuring all work was completed with dedication and care. They provided a transparent and detailed estimate, ensuring that there were no surprises or hidden costs along the way -- even when my porch roof needed additional work outside the scope of the estimate. Despite my insistence that they increase the estimate so they could be adequately compensated for their time and additional materials, they declined to increase their fee. This is a family run business and all involved are concerned about offering a professional service. They are knowledgeable, efficient, and diligent. Iâ m very pleased with the job they completed and intend to call them back when my roof needs further attention.

This is the third project I have hired George and team for in the last six months. First, a replacement patio roof renovation. Second, a tile roof job and finally a whole house painting job. From the oldest to the youngest in the McMillan family - they all make sure you understand the process and answer any questions you may ask. Saying they are courteous would be an understatement. They define courtesy and willing to discuss anything with their customers. Even though George may use some additional team members, they also treat you with respect and friendliness. Even though George will give you a written quote, for me, at least with this company, a handshake would be fine. As a customer that has hired the McMillan group for multiple projects. I can honestly say I would, will and have recommended them to neighbors and friends. George is honest, knowledgeable and willing to go the extra mile. They are punctual and will complete your project as intended. They will cleanup thoroughly after completion. So if you need a roof job, house painted. etc., give George a call. You will not be sorry. Easy to work with. Actually listened to what I thought the problem was and repaired it better than I could at my age. I thank them for what I feel was professional job. They do more than roofing. I suggest you try them first before hiring anyone else for any job.

I had just moved into my new house when it rained and I learned that part of my roof leaked, which was missed by the home inspector. I called a few companies for quotes and George responded to my call quickly, he even went to inspect it while I was at work and sent me pictures of the problem along with cost. He was able to get the work done within a few days before the next rain was due. He did a great job, very professional and excellent communication. I would recommend him for any roofing project.

George and his crew are nothing less than excellent. He came over within two days after contacting him to give me a quote. I called him back and he scheduled with me for two days later. He worked me in and finished the job in two days. The job was replacing the patio roof attached to my home. Excellent communication, fair price and a job well done. A family owned company and his two sons are just as customer focused and respectful Everything was completed as intended and cleaned before leaving. Fast and efficient

Family owned business with 3 generations working together. It was the best experience, the best service I've ever had, best money I've ever spent.

They did a great job, I was quite impressed. The man who owns the company was here on Thursday. He was very pleasant, he is a family man and very professional. They came out Friday and finished the work. It was clean and some of it was a junk job and not easy to do; but they did it and I am very impressed. Very happy with the work they did.

George was great.Very personable. On time. Very knowledgeable. Honest. No pressure. Felt like he was looking out for my best interest and doing things right. Highly recommend and would use again in a heartbeat.

George was on time for an estimate and eventually doing the job. This man is kind, reliable, efficient and did a great job after being ripped off by another roofer. I also got 3 bids and George s was by far the best (not only price but his explanation of the repair/replacement was superb). I highly recommend him!

I received three quotes for the job I had in mind... (Flat roof.. over a patio.. somewhat neglected over time and getting worse) To be fair, it was a larger job than what I had imagined. I'm not a roofing pro, but I am a craftsman and I understand contract/remodeling/carpentry-skill kind of work. I understood the observations that most made. Estimates were all over the spectrum. I then called G&M Contracting. When George arrived (the "G" in GM contracting) ... on time - and as scheduled to provide an estimate.... he was thorough... he had questions for me... he measured, he gave suggestions, general assessments, and options... I sensed rather quickly that his words were spoken from the perspective of a "do-er", rather than from a "partner" who gets a cut of the do-er's efforts. George is like five foot seven - maybe - and probably born before I was - 1961 - I didn't ask... but I could immediately tell that he knows his stuff) ... I forgave him for the New York Yankees cap he was wearingâ ¦. Said it was a giftâ ¦ makes sense, â cause when you meet him, youâ ll still hear the New-England-ish accent in his voiceâ ¦ kinda like Bob Silva of â This Old Houseâ . That voice (and the snow on the roof) - and knowing his line of work - was reassuring. We hired GM Contracting. Big George, Little George, and the rest of them.. I later learned how many of them there areâ ¦ Solid, proud, family business. The results were better than expected, considerably less costly than other competitors, and finished ahead of schedule.
