They were quick to get us in, diagnose and prescribe. Vets are costly in Phoenix but they seem to be more reasonable than most. Been here 4 years and tried several. These are best best yet.

I started using them about six years ago. I have always been pleased with their work. My pet has to be sedated. The groomers are different all the time, but it is a different veterinarian. My pets don't seem to mind being brought there. They don't tug or pull away or anything like that. It seems to go pretty good. Their quality is slightly better than average. They are very responsive. When I have a problem they always get me in. He is always ready to be picked up when he should be.

It's a little expensive for my pet because he bites, so I have to have him sedated every time he's groomed. It's a stinky animal hospital, I don't know why but I don't think I would trust my pet with them if they were doing boarding. It just has a strange odor. They've always done an excellent job. They always take good care of him and my cats when I have my cats brought in for shots or whatever. The doctor is very nice. It's just that smell that gets me every time I go there. They should have better house keeping I guess. They always take excellent care of him and do an excellent job of grooming him. He's a poodle, so they have hair, they don't have fur so it has to be done every so often. Whenever I take him, it's always a different groomer but it always comes out good.

I work in the Chandler area and was referred here by a co-worker of mine. I chose this clinic because my friend had good experiences with them in the past, and because their other online reviews seemed to be pretty good (been in business since 1981, and I believe it is family owned). There are two vets working there that are brothers, and they have been in the business for many years. 60+ years experience between those two alone.

Having said that, Harley and I ended up seeing one of the other vets called "Dr Kristi" for a yearly check up, vaccines, and the annual parasite tests that are usually recommended. The first visit with the dr was very pleasant. The front staff seemed very professional, and did not try to "sell" all their services, they more so just told me what was recommended, and said to do whatever I could that fit within my budget. I want to say the Physical Examination and office call was about $43, and each vaccine costed around $8 (including Rabies, which was surprising). They're parasite tests were also lower than most of the other clinics i called around too ($35 heart worm blood test and $20 for the stool test). The office seemed to stress cleanliness, and friendly personalities.

The vet , referred to as "Dr Christi" was very kind, and thorough in her examination with my boy. She did notice something wrong with his teeth, which i kind of saw coming since they were starting to turn to brown and his breath smelled terrible. She recommended a dental cleaning, and said that they had a promotion during that month which decreased the cost a little bit. I had a good vibe with this dr, mainly because she didn't push or guilt trip me into getting the cleaning done, she just kept insisting she highly recommended it, but offered other options in case my financial situation couldn't support the teeth cleaning procedure.

The following week I got the dental work done, which included additional blood tests, supportive fluids, and a couple other things that I can't remember without seeing my bill. I paid no second office call, and the total bill ended up a little bit under what they had on the estimate. In addition, i was able to meet with the dr before i left harley with them, and met with her again when i picked him up later that afternoon. One of their staff, a technician i presume, called me on my cell when harley woke up from the sedatives. I was fine with the bill, considering how much work was done on him (the itemized invoice filled up an entire page). After pricing out other vet offices, I would say these people were about on par with everyone else. The following day I received a phone call to check on him, and was even able to call the dr again a couple days later when i had questions about his diet.

Overall, these people seem to be sincere about their love for animals. They do charge for the services that they perform, but I didn't have any surprises on my bill. The price was very reasonable considering veterinary prices these days. The hospital seemed to be modern, but most of all the staff and the dr were what made me decide to continue using them. As a business professional myself, I appreciate experience, passion for your work, and overall authenticity. These people possessed all of these traits. If you're looking for dirt cheap spay/neuter clinic prices, go somewhere else. But if you're looking for a reasonable and caring vet (and staff), then I would recommend you bring your pet here.

The Vet was not as concerned as I thought he should be. He made the problem sound like it wasn't severe. She had a bladder stone and infection. He had said that he needed to do a urinalysis and some XRays. He said he tried to do the urinalysis but was unable to do it. He talked about doing XRays, but never wanted to set up the appointment. He said the bladder stones would just cause minor irritation, but I took her to another clinic and found out that it could have actually killed my cat. I felt uneasy with his diagnosis and lack of solution. I noticed this problem the same day that I had taken my cats in for their vaccinations, which the clinic had previously told me the cats weren't due for. I took her back in for this problem and she was only given antibiotics. During the vaccination visit they didn't even notice that the cat was sick with this infection.
