Handyman Services
Troy arrived on time and prepared to work on the job, he was able to negotiate a very steeply pitched roof and accomplish the repairs in the time that he estimated. After inspection, all looked as expected and I've had no more trouble with birds / squirrels getting into my attic from those openings. I am very satisfied with his work.

Handyman arrived on time, as scheduled when he gave the estimate. Was quick and professional - doing exactly what I had asked. I was satisfied with the work that he completed, and would recommend them. Only negative was that his work space wasn't as clean as I would have hoped, but after a quick wipe up and wash, it looked just as before!

Progress was very slow. Craftsmanship was average. Some of the work needed to be painted, but he did not do paint and did not offer to get a painting quote.

He replaced the florescent lights that were recessed in the ceiling, replaced the wiring and so on and so forth. My husband thought afterward that the quality of the work could have been better. They were on time and all that kind of stuff. I would use them again.

Repairman was on time, professionally dressed, took shoes off when entering, introduced himself and showed i.d.
When he was finished, he asked for a broom and cleaned up his mess.

I was very happy with them. We have an overhang on the roof where birds had gotten in. A while back, my husband put a board over the hole to cover it. Since he did that, the board had rotted. The Handy Connection removed all of the rotted material, and replaced the area with a piece of vinyl. They were quicker than I thought. I called, and they came out the next day, and got the job done. I was very pleased. I really liked that they charged by the job, and not by the hour. I would use them again.

They did an extensive renovation to my home. They made my home handicap accessible. They installed handicap accessible shower, they put in ramps, and new windows. They were prompt and responsive. I thought the price was a little expensive, but it wasn't bad. I will be using them again, on a new project.

Now we did have them come out and give us an estimate to paint our 2-story foyer and the price was a little higher than expected. We had a painting company out of Fayetteville going door-to-door drumming up business, and, on a whim, we decided to let them do an estimate on it too. They came in at almost half the connection's price. In the connection's defense, I am sure it's just because they didn't have the proper equipment (ladders, scaffolding) to paint the monster foyer.
The connection will definitely be my go-to service for all of my small jobs around the house, but, on the bigger projects, I will most likely get a couple of other bids to compare prices.

They were fine but they were a little over-priced. I understand that electrical work is more specific. I don't know how to compare the price. My husband was home while they did the work. We may use them again, depending on responses I get.

This is a franchise, so obviously you'll pay more, but workers are screened, bonded, and covered by workman's comp. Consider paying the higher price if you need the work done in a timely fashion. We had gone through two workers who could only devote limited time to our work because of other jobs they had going on at the same time.
Handyman Connection sent out Eric Jones, who did an excellent job for us. Eric was respectful of our space and worked long hours to get everything done quickly, as we wished. He was easy to work with and explained things as needed; he kept us informed on his progress, and he did his work very conscientiously. We were rightfully quite pleased with his work.
When the mold inspector came back out, he said Eric had done a better job than he sees on nearly all of the re-inspections he does. Eric was very easy to have around the house working for us.
The franchise owner, Dave Hatfield, seems truly concerned that customers are pleased with the work and all his workers have a minimum of ten years experience.

Chimney Repair
When the house was rebuilt after the 1994 tornado, the builder did not install vapor wrap on the chimney. when the siding was repaired in 2008 after the hail storm, the company doing the work didn't mention the lack of vapor wrap. The wood framing rotted out and it all had to be replaced.
