Description of Work: Ultimately they provided advice. When we bought our house the inspection report said we needed to add cross bracing to the floor joists. After I contacted Handyman Connection they did some research with Bentonville City, and apparently cross bracing is no longer required. They could have taken my money and done the work but chose to let me know it wasn't necessary. Very impressed by this!!!

Description of Work: Prices for re-grouting were too high for me. The ladies who answered the phones were very polite and professional, however. They followed up diligently in order to get me on the schedule. Ultimately, they were just too expensive for what we needed, even after the Angie's List promo.

Description of Work: Electrician repaired several fixtures. Was extremely punctual and professional. Plumber was several hours late, left to get some parts, and never returned. He called later in the day to apologize and set up another time to come. It was a little frustrating, but he did give me a discount on my total bill.

Description of Work: The provider repaired water damage in my entryway after my water heater leaked. The contractor relaid laminate flooring, repaired some damaged drywall, and touched up the paint over the repaired area. Overall, it went very well. The work looks great and the contractor was very easy to work with. He was very professional, answered all my questions, and cleaned up after the work was done. It was an easy and pain - free experience.

Description of Work: The company was responsive when I called to inform that the handy man had spent all day putting in my garage door opener. After he left and I was reading the manual it stated that the door was to reverse if it came down on something (like a child, cat, etc.). It didn't do that. I tried to adjust it but didn't realize there was an adjuster on each side of the motor. And I informed them that he tried to get me to pay more money than was agreed upon because the estimate was for 2 hours and it took him way longer. When I told him that wasn't the way Handyman Connection did business he backed off. Anyway he came back and fixed the problem, but I always had a creepy feeling. So in the end all was good, but will probably not use this company again. Work should be done right the first time.

Description of Work: They wired up a ceiling fan with a light. Very professional and prompt. Wouldn't hesitate to use again.

It took a little longer than expected because they were teaching a new member of their organization. I do not remember what they charged so can't help you there nor do I remember exactly when it was. I'm 85 years old with a short memory. Sorry about that.
