I was told that it would be set for the next month. So when the next month comes around I get ready to pay my bill, thinking I have a new due date, and I see that I am past due. I call and ask for a late fee waiver and they refused. I told them that it was supposed to be a new due date on the bill, but they stated that there was no record of that. The rep said that they are a big company and not everyone is on the same page. The customer service is just terrible.
Description of Work: I had started a new job, so my pay cycle would change. I had called to adjust my billing cycle to match whenever my pay date was.

It's a monopoly. Since they are the only cable provider, residents have no choice but to pay their prices, which go up every year. We aslo have to rent one of their boxes to control our television. Internet service isn't the best. I constantly have to repair the internet connection on my computer since Suddenlink doesn't have enough towers to handle my neighborhood, and I repeatedly get kicked off from online.
Description of Work: Provides phone, internet, and cable service to Jonesboro. The cost listed is my monthly fee, which is exhorbitant, plus the $40 to turn on our cable signal.

I am not happy with them. They are a bit overpriced. I called to cancel my cable because we just watch our children's stuff online and if I canceled my cable our bill was going to be higher than having both the cable and internet. I called to explain to them that I was about to have a baby and that it was not within my budget and that I had to have internet because I am a college student, but they were very indifferent about it. Their cable and internet service is great but their customer service and their price is just not fair. I will continue to use them simply because it's the only choice I have.

Installer was very cordial and was on time to install Internet and phone to my tv cable. I was not told that it would not be wireless, nor was I told that their was a $40 connect charge. In addition I was offered a $ 50 gift card. When I called to inquire about where my gift card was the rep told me she knew of no such offer. My saving grace was that I INSISTED that they pull tape of my original conversation with sales rep. They refunded $40 service charge finally. In addition two days after installation I received a better offer in the mail. Suddenlink told me they would have to disconnect my service and reinstall to get the better price, a ridiculous solution in my opinion. Insist that they put their offer in writing and that they will state in writing that they deal they are offering you is indeed the best deal available. I was told numerous times " we are a huge co. And do not always know the incentives being offered" All in all they are the only game in town but they will say anything to get you "bundled" then the surprises come fast and furious. Very disappointing experience. No wonder American business is in the shape it is, ethics is just a word to sudden link. Tread carefully. I was finally told they would honor $50 gift card offer BUT it would take 90 days to do so, I am not holding my breath.
