They lied about the delivery date just to make a sale. Once they had our money, they were horrible to work with. Not even apologetic when part of the order came three weeks late, can't even give me a date as to when we'll get the sectional, and the recliner won't arrive until June! We were supposed to have everything by mid-February! They said the only thing we could do is come in and order a different recliner; oh but they don't have any at that price anymore so it'll be more expensive. Keep in mind that they never called me once to let me know that an item would be late; horrible customer service.

We purchased a sectional sofa with warranty from Hanks Fine Furniture. Our sectional was delivered on time and set up in place. Within a few days, approximately two weeks, I noticed the electronic button that enables the recliner on the right end was not working properly. Before I was able to call the warranty company, my 85 year old father had reclined in the section that was not working properly when it failed completely and we had great difficulty getting him out of the recliner without hurting him. When I called the warranty company, I was informed Hanks Furniture carried the repairs for the first year. It took some days, but the repairman arrived on time and was very professional. He said he believed the sofa we had gotten was the floor model. He noted the cushion were different on one end from the other and the other things that made it obvious to him. He recommended Hanks replace that section of the sofa. Hanks called and arranged to replace that section of the sofa. A few days later, the replacement sofa arrived on time as promised. The next day, my wife and I returned home from a long day trip and sat on our new sofa. We were very pleased and were literally commenting on how well the new sofa sat and the incredible difference in the cushions. At that very moment, my wife and I both heard a loud pop from underneath the sofa we were siting on and I felt a vibration under my left buttock. We immediately turned the sofa up to look underneath and saw a small piece of plastic or hardened tape and a broken spring poking through the thin black screen that covered the underside of the sofa. We drove to hanks the next day and addressed the manager. He initially told us he would replace the sofa or exchange for a different product, but then he did not hold to his word later in the conversation and said he would only repair or replace with the same product. Randy was the manager and became very aggressive { I have this entire incident on video }. They brought another sofa that was obviously damaged and even the delivery guys said it was obviously not right. We did not accept the delivery. Eventually, we had to go to the store and look at another replacement before they would even agree to deliver it. We wanted to replace the sofa as the maker of this sectional was not good quality. We felt we were held hostage and we had spent our money to pay cash in full for a new sectional and had to other choice. We had to accept an inferior product .All of this happened within the first month we owned this brand new sofa. I will never do any business with Hanks again. If you do, beware!

I paid cash for the entire purchase on 9/6/13, two nightstands & one dresser. They delivered the night stands about a week after purchase. The dresser delivery was then delayed and delivery was scheduled for the first week of October. They didn't come and when I called they made excuses and said it would not be delivered until Nov 8th! Also, when they delivered the night stands, they gave me a box containing two 8 oz bottles - Crypton Furniture Care Kit. I thought this was some sort of thank you gift and appreciated it. Then later when I dug out my bill to talk to them about the non-delivery of my dresser I noticed they had charged me for that "gift". They charged $89.95 for it. I never ordered it and it is not worth that kind of money.
