The management has horrible attitudes and continuously lies about services that are supposed to be performed. We had a dead animal in our dryer vent at one point, which smelled up our entire apartment and made our dryer unusable. Not only did it take a week to get this problem fixed, but the management was caught lieing about the services she was supposedly having done. We ended up coming off of over $125 to help fix the issue, and management refused to reimburse us. At another time, we've had the water main burst twice leaving us without water for 27 hours the first time, and 12 the next. State Dept. of Health rules state that over 24 hours without water is a health hazard, and we ended up having to get a motel room so our children could shower and be fed for the next school day. Management once again refused to reimburse us for money we were out. The power bills are through the roof due to insufficient insulation in the attic space and drafty single pane windows. We end up having to use a supplemental window unit during the summer to effectively cool our living space, and we have noticed many others having to do the same, even after the duct work was replaced to allow better air flow. The appliances are out of date and cheap materials are used for cabinetry and counter tops. The swimming pool is always visibly dirty as management refuses to purchase a floor vacuum to clean up debris from the bottom, and the weight room has been known to be shut down for months at a time due to a broken ac unit. We have also had neighbor issues that continue to go unresolved even after three verbal complaints and one written complaint. The rules that are supposed to be applied to all residents are only applied to particular residents and not everyone. When the management is asked for the contact information for Bluestone Properties she claims she "doesn't have it" and can give us an email address....we have found out that she has routed all emails to her personal email address so the owners never get the complaints. For the amount of money we spend on rent in these apartments we should be living in an upscale environment with a professional staff to back the prices that we pay, but instead we have had to hire an attorney to resolve many issues that continue to go unresolved and to try to recoup money we should have never been out of to begin with. Save your time and money...DO NOT RENT FROM THESE PEOPLE!!!
