I have always liked companies that try to help me fix things over the phone.  That tells me they are not greedy for that "service call fee" if it's something I can do myself.

I believe he worked on my AC around June. I can't remember the exact date. All I can say is that he is very good at what he does. I called Energy Savers but was turned down because they can't take any new customers at that time. So I called Ledlow and he came by to help me with my AC problem. Turned out that my capacitor was no longer functioning. He replaced it and I'm back in business. I strongly recommend this company. I truly believe his pricing is fair and honest.

Our home was built in 2005, and this is the first problem we have had with it.  As we are relatively new to the area, we were at a loss as to what companies might be reliable and fair in price.  I had been considering joining Angie's list, and this situation removed all doubt.  Within a few minutes of joining, I was reviewing detailed, known-reliable reports on local businesses.  One large company had many "A" reports and a few negatives, while a smaller company whose services were provided by the actual owner had a 100% positive rating (11 reports) and many enthusiastic comments.  I thought a smaller company whose owner had a direct stake in customer satisfaction seemed like a good choice, and this led me to Ledlow's Heating and Air Conditioning Service. 
As noted above, Mr Ledlow arrived quickly and fixed our problem in mere minutes.  Afterwards, he offered to check out our attic unit as a courtesy.  While there, he noted the lack of ventilation which led to high temperatures in the attic.  He explained several detailed options for ventilation [which would be performed by a roofing contractor].  While not mandatory, these could help make our AC run more efficiently and lower our power bills.  He went out of his way to offer helpful information.  It was clear that he is a professional in the truest sense of the word -- he cares about the customer and about optimum results on each job, not just "the bottom line." 
We will continue to rely on Ledlow's AC service, and  our Angie's list membership has already more than paid for itself!

Installed a high end Goodman 18 Seer system which required some additional time. Bruce made sure that the advanced system was installed correctly and continuously updated me on the daily installation status. Bruce also informed me of the additional warranties and how to register my products so I received the maximum coverage. The installation crew were always on time or a little early. They even adjusted their work schedule so it would not interfere with my work days. I wish more companies like this were available.

Had Mr. Ledlow out a few weeks ago to check my HVAC system as I was having issues with the system freezing up.Probably spent in the ballpark of $1500 the last 2 years having it tested, checked, analyzed. It was starting to get to the point where I was going to just buy a new system to avoid all the headaches. With my final attempt Mr. Ledlow came out checked my system, walked through my house, checked all duct work. He noticed immediately that my attic lacked the necessary ventilation required for the system. He recommended some fixes and told me when I was able to complete them as they were out of his scope of work he would come back out for another service call. Well I had a roofing crew come in and add addtional vents and with that small fix I noticed 3 to 5 degree change in the house, my attic is temperate and not a sauna. Mr. Lewdlows environmental knowledge in addition to his technical knowledge was great and saved me thousands just because he took the time and has the experience with this area. Do me a favor if your reading this, steer clear of the bigger named companies in town. Mr. Ledlows prices are cheaper for a service call and his experience far surpasses that of his competitors.

Service was outstanding; got an appointment the next day. He offerded to come the same day, but since ours was not an emergency call, I told him the next day would be fine. He called in the morning to inform me he would be running late due to an emergency call that came up, which was fine with me. When he showed, he was professional and courteous and performed the service in a timely manner. Since we needed a part for our compressor, he offered to write down all the info so we could get the part or for him to get it and return the next day to install it. I chose for him to do the work. He came back the next morning, installed the part, and tested the system to make sure everything is running well. I was very satisfied and definitely plan to continue using Ledlow's for all,our future Heating and A/C needs.

I contacted led lows and I was a new customer and they were great . That came out, diagnosed the problem and I had air conditioning! I will be utilizing led lows for seasonal checkups. I recommend them to everyone !

Overall our experience was perfect. Both Mr Ledlow and his assistant were very nice men and easy to work with. They could have easily made a few hundred bucks off us by telling us something major was wrong with the a/c but they didn't. Everything was explained to me in detail and he even made some suggestions for better ventilating my attic which could bring our electric bill down a bit and help cool off the house.

It went wonderful.  They worked extremely hard and were done in the time they thought.

I called this provider at 8:45 AM and he showed up at 10:00 AM.  The serviceman asked me to turn the pump on and it started right up.  He checked some aspects of the pump as well as the thermostat and air handler.  He explained to me that the pump has a built-in time delay of roughly 5 minutes and then showed me how it worked.  The service call was $55.00 and he waived $30.00 for an Angies List evaluation.  Then, he decided to waive the whole charge because he didn't feel like he had really done anything.  Since I had asked him to check the freon level, I gave him $25.00 for that and the fact that he put my mind at ease by explaining the system to me.  Besides, he loves dogs and I have two of them (big ones).  This guy might be the most polite and unassuming I've ever met.  He also told me that if he had to return for the same problem, he would waive the service call fee.  What's not to like?

As described above, my experience went very well. I was very pleased that Bruce was able to respond so promptly. Again, I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Ledlow's and Bruce to anyone with an HVAC problem. 

Our  air conditioning was out and has been all summer..we did not have enough money to get it repaired so when we could I called  Ludlow's at about 10:00 am in the morning..and at 11:45 am the service man arrived..we are new in GA and did not know who to trust that would give us good honest service..I had joined Angie's list at the beginning of the year just for that reason..so I look on the site and found Ludlows listing and rating..they were given rave reviews..so I trusted their word and the rest is history..when he and another young man came in he attested the situation, gave me a very fair price, according to what he estimated..the furnace was in the attic..so with no air in 90 degree weather it was smoldering hot up there. He and his assistant went up and down those attic stairs several times..I felt so sorry for them because of the heat..It took them several hours..but when they finished OMG we are cooling it...They worked so hard..I gave him a $10:00 tip...and told him about the review he had on Angie's list..he was surprised and humbled.
