I took pet in for grooming as usual, I was pleasant and considerate. I always contacted them if we had to reschedule a bath or groom. On this date, 8/7/2013 , he was groomed in what is called a and quot;summer cutand quot;. His long silky tail was cut short, his ears stuck out on the side like a lamb's ears. He was cut to about 1/4 inch all over his body. His legs were cut straight down rather than in a tubular shape. We have never had him groom that way. Never ask that he be groomed that way. I called and requested a private meeting with the owners , and was given a time and date to meet with them. A short time later I received the phone call telling me that the groomers had discussed the situation and and quot; they had 55 years grooming experience and did not need me to tell them how to groom a Bichon. and quot;. They were releasing my dog from their services. I would have been satisfied with a simple and quot; we are sorry, we made a mistake, we value you as a loyal customer and we will made sure it does not happen again.and quot; I am sorry that they could not be professional in their business. We have a new groomer who was appalled when he saw our Bichon, and apologized repeatedly for the poor service and unprofessional conduct that our pretty Bichon dog was given.
