Two Maids & A Mop

The office staff is super nice. We purchased a home in Pensacola,FL and wanted a move in deep clean. The first time they came out I was out of town and left specific instructions to dust, clean baseboards, and mop the floors. Surface cleaning was done but my husband had to go behind them and clean for 2 hours after they were gone. He even called the crew back in to clean our pendant lights. When I arrived to my new home I was disappointed with the cleaning. I took photos and emailed the office whom sent the same crew out after talking with them to "make it right". The same crew that got talked to about our dissatisfaction the first time they came out. The first girl walked in, didn't introduce herself, and both had an attitude. It was very uncomfortable and awkward the entire time. I looked at their work as they worked through my home and saw countertops that hadn't been touched, baseboards with dust, and shelving not touched. It was so uncomfortable for myself, my mom, and my son who hid in his room "from the mean lady" I finally told them to finish our last bathroom and leave.

Overall the cleaning is great. I have a crawling baby and the floors need a good cleaning at least once a week. Then I can do spot treatment as needed. Last Thursday when I arrived home to my clean home, I was very pleased. The shower is so clean and sparkly. Everything is great. Thanks to the ladies that come.

The entire experience has gone very well. The front office staff are kind and considerate. Willing to discuss time and day. All supplies and equipment are provided. Credit card payment is accepted. All of this eliminates me from having to write a check, keep up with needed cleaning supplies and follow up with the leaning crew if everything needed was found. Exactly what I was looking for in a cleaning company. I'm not the middle man.

Extremely well. This is our main living space. And with 3 small dogs and cats the floors take a beating. Occasionally a pee spot might occur that is overlooked by us. The ladies will clean up no problem. We have a toddler and want to keep the floors really clean. So we do spot cleaning in between the major over all mop, vacuum the ladies do weekly. I love they come on Thursdays. Then my home is clean and ready to enjoy on the weekend. The ladies are very nice and speak English. I like that, too. They bring everything that is needed. So I don't have to worry about getting stuff and having it here.

We used this service for the first time this week. The ladies were punctual and professional. I am at the end of a home renovation so the house is in much more disarray than usual. The ladies were happy to roll with it and did a great job! I am looking forward to having my house cleaned every other week.

The Team of Two arrived on time. They got down to working very quickly. They cleaned everything. They did a Fantastic Job. Plus the gals spoke English which was nice. Since that is the only language I know. No offense. :-). Master bathroom, bedroom, kitchen, living room, dining room, hallways. They did a good job and they were really nice. The office staff was great. They take credit cards. They are returning in one week! Yay!!!

The team arrived on time.  Very through cleaning, no wasted time with chit-chatting.  Suggestions for in-between professional service given. I would highly recommend  Two maids and a Mop. 

The service was good.  The girls showed up bright and early.  They began their work immediately and I didn't have to tell them what to do.  We are very pleased!

They arrived a little later than usual - traffic!  But, they were good, efficient and cleaned our home as they had in the past.  I really love the way these girls clean.  We will use them again

The two girls that were here have been here before and they did a very nice job.  They did exactly what we expected them to do.

The minute the girls arrived - and they were early - they knew exactly what to do and where to go.  They worked hard all the while they were here and didn't interrupt anything that we were doing while they were here.  My husband was impressed and the house smelled clean and definitely looked clean.
We were pleased!

Two girls arrived approximately at 9am and were out the door by 10:20am.  We have a 2900 sq.ft. home.  I've used this service 3 times and the quality continued to decline each time.  The cleaning and dusting was very "slip shod".  They missed the laundry room, did a poor job dusting, and a horrible job in the kitchen.I finally told them not to come back. Don't waste your money.  There are better services out there.

The cleaning was well above my expectations

Everything went as planned. Our house looks great.  We are very pleased.

The two girls showed up on time and were well equipped.  They were very polite
and acted professional.  For the most part they did a pretty good
job.  However, there were a few things I was not pleased with.  We
have hardwood floors with area rugs on the main level.  The rugs were very
expensive rugs.  I was somewhat shocked to see one of the girls sweeping
the dirt from the hardwood floor on to our rug in the family room. I understand
that her intent was to vacuum the rug.  However, as you know, it will be
difficult to pull all of the dirt from the rug.  This rug was a $3000 rug.
I gave her a dust pan for the rest of the hardwood floors.  I would rate
the cleaning in the kitchen just fair.  Although they paid attention to
the stainless steel appliances, the counter tops were not thoroughly
cleaned.  Items on the counter tops were not moved, but simply cleaned
around them.  We have a draining rack draped over half of the kitchen
sink.  I doesn?t look like the rack was moved because that half of the
sink was still dirty.  The bathrooms, bedrooms, stairs, and hallways
seemed to be ok.
Based
on today?s service, on a scale of 1-10,  I would give the service a
6.  Hopefully,  the next cleaning will be better.

They arrived at 9 on the dot. In fact, for the third time they arrived at 9 on the dot - the first two times we had some scheduling issues (my fault entirely) and I could not have the services performed,  so I was just glad they came back and gave me another chanceI Anyway, the house has been somewhat neglected so I wasn't expecting a miracle -- just a clean house, but in the end, It was actually more like a miracle.  They were great - very hard working, professional, jumped right in to working -- and they did a fabulous job! They got into corners I didn't know existed and unearthed a couple of colonies of dust bunnies that I would never have seen. And, it's not like they called me in to look at the dust bunnies (although they were remarkable :-). I just happened to walk by the room they were in and noticed. They used all natural ingredients and the house has such a clean fresh smell - products  were not at all heavily scented - just fresh and clean.  Highly recommend!

I hired these ladies to perform a whole house move out cleaning. They did it that day for a very reasonable amount and to the absolute satisfaction of the lady moving out. In fact the moving family will engage 2 Ladies and a mop for ongoing cleaning services.

I have used Two Maids and a Mop for over a year now.  Initially they
were very good under the supervision of a lady named Liz.  She would
always come by and expect the work of the ladies. But I guess they don't
continue to care once they think they have your business.  Also,
initially there were 3 girls that used to clean my large house and now
there are only two (their slogan).  The ladies are often different each
time which is very frustrating.  You can't discuss what was missed last
time because they claimed "it wasn't them."  I have created lists for
them to check off and they still don't do it.  They need constant
supervision or things wont get done.  I am aware that I can't always get
people to clean my house the way I would clean it but yesterday was
just unacceptable because it wasn't the first time this has happened.  I
have repeatedly given them second chances since Liz has left. I have
also refrained from reviewing them on this site with hopes that it would
just improve....
So, yesterday was the first day I had to let them
clean without supervision and I will say it is now the last time I will
use them.  They cleaned my 4 level house in 1.5 hours.....Not possible
to do a good job.  My shower wasn't cleaned, my bathroom and kitchen
counters were not cleaned or even wiped down, sinks were not cleaned
(toothpaste left in the sink from that morning), no dusting whatsoever,
furballs in every corner, hair never cleaned behind the toilet, they
haven't cleaned the window sills, blinds, and ceiling fans in months,
and the cleaner/wax they used on the floors was a mess and all my chairs
were stuck to the floor!  THE LIST GOES ON!  Just PURE sloppy laziness.
Use only if you have low expectations!

My spouse had been ill with cancer, and as a caregiver I did not have the time, or the skills as a male to clean the house. The two staffers who came were sent cleaned the house like I have never seen it before. And, they truly cared about us and bringing the house up to speed.

The Two Maid and a Mop did a great job cleaning my home.  I have been very pleased with their work.

The two ladies who did the deep clean on our home did a great job as well as the ladies who did the first bi-monthly cleaning.  It is so nice to come home from work to a clean home!

Consistent staff is a problem. They do address my questions and problems when I ask but the lack of consistent staff makes the calls repetative. Also, this last visit the staff

I called the maid service a few days later to give them a list of things that weren't done. I was told the manager I had talked to wasn't there anymore. The "NEW" manager said that I should have told the maid crew everything I wanted them to do. In short, this was all my problem. The NEW manager said nothing about coming back out to fix the problems, even though their listing said they would. I feel service providers should take responsibility for the claims they make. Very disappointed with the experience. Would not recommend them. 

I do want to stress, however, that the maid crew that came to my house was very friendly and had a good attitude.

They did a good job. They were very punctual and time efficient.

We had to wait for the real estate agent to come to open the door. The ladies arrived on time, however waited patiently to gain access to the home. As soon as the door was open, they assessed the home and began working immediately. I had contractors coming in and out, however they worked as if no one was there.

 I wished that things were a little bit cleaner. Example: I had to ask one of the ladies to go back to clean the tiolet because it was wrapped due to being previously winterized. Also, because the house had been vacant before I purchased it, there were some dead bugs on the floor. The other lady simply, vacuumed and mopped around the bug instead of sweeping them up and placing them in the trash.
