Pro 1 Painters

Overall this was one of my best experiences with any contractor/service provider. The work was extensive - five days - and done by one painter (Kenny). His expertise, work ethic and attention to detail was exceptional. He arrived on time and worked very long days with virtually no wasted time. Rene Pollet, the owner, checked daily on the progress and was most agreeable to the additional requests we had. He followed up with an additional chore a week after the contracted tasks were completed - extra work which was especially kind. Kenny's cleanup was perfect and the price was very fair.

It was good. They did a very good job and touched some stuff up and did not charge us for it. They sent 2 people out to do the job and they were finished in about 2 days. They showed when they were supposed to and Rene was very good and he checkup up on them to make sure they were doing everything. They put drop-cloths everywhere and the cleanup was spotless. I would use them again.

The service was excellent! Everyone was very responsive to requests and accommodating on scheduling. They had great suggestions and recommendations on the work, and went above and beyond to try to work with our needs.

The owner came out to review the various projects we were wanting to do. It was determined they all (including individually) exceed the 8 hours of work. He stated I could request a refund. It is coupon code PAINT-1134290-1.

We were informed we can only use one deal.

It went very well.  From the first appointment for estimate in January to completion of scheduled paint job.  They really worked hard to get the job done in the short amount of time I had available in February. 



Came on a Saturday to pressure wash in order to get the painting done during decent weather.  The painters were very pleasant to deal with, arrived early, stayed late, cleaned up after themselves and did a wonderful job.

Painted main areas of house- living, kitchen, dining, entrance, ( these are connected areas)- no trim- just walls.  The owner came out and gave a estimate.  Emailed contract- we signed and emailed it back.  Professional, on time.  Finished on time.  Pleased

They were punctual and were very professional when at my house and I did not feel uncomfortable when I had to leave the house while they were painting. Although I had a few issues with some spots that I wasn't satisfied with, they came back and took care of each and every area that I pointed out. They were meticulous about this and were willing to come back again and again until I was satisfied. They were very pleasant to work with and I was very pleased with the results.

very professional from from star to finish. Submitted very detailed quote including all work to be performed. Completed all work in a timely basis and excellent quality. Workers were professional and thorough. If I have painting needs in the future I will call them first.

Painted ceiling in master bedroom.

The ceilings look fantastic and the painters were very professional.  They were able to come by and finish a small area after I got off work one day so I didn't have to take leave work early.  The painter that night had an issue with his truck. Rene bought a part to fix it and brought it to my house so the painter could be on his way.  When I saw Rene outside putting the part in while the painter finished up, I said, "What a great boss you have!"  The painter said, "Yes, isn't he greatest?"  To me, how a person treats their employees says volumes about that person and happy employees are motivated to do good work.

The painters were professional and easy to work with.  They did a great job repairing drywall in both the bathroom and the bedroom. Rene told us in the beginning that the job would not be finished until we were happy.  He made sure that all the details were done to our satisfaction. We plan to use Pro 1 Painters again to do some work outside the house in 2014.

Pro 1 Painters painted my living room and hallway. It was done professionally and fast. I would definitely use them in the future.

Called Rene to get a quote for some exterior painting and powerwashing.  We set up a time for the next day to go over the work.  Rene showed up on time and was very professional.  We went over the job and he sent a quote by email later that night.  We booked the job for about three weeks out and made an appointment to look over paint colors.  Rene picked up samples and painted some small areas so we could see how the paint would look in the light.  We didn't like the first set of colors so Rene picked up some different paint samples.  Rene came back to reapply the samples and we decided on a final color.
His crew showed up as scheduled and power washed the areas discussed.  They all wear painters "uniforms" and are very polite.  The prep continued and painting of large areas was mostly finished in two days.  Due to some rain forecasted, we were notified the night before they wouldn't be painting the next day.   The job site was cleaned up each day, only leaving a large ladder at the side of the house which was used each day.
The front door was the last to be done.  One day was spent prepping the surface, another for stain and a coat of poly.  The third was a final sanding and final coat of poly.  The door looks brand new.  While stain and poly dried, other touch up and small jobs were completed.  No time was wasted, crew was busy the entire time.
I would recommend Pro 1 Painters and use them again.

He was very good. They had a special on Angies List, so I took advantage of the special. I paid $149 for so many hours of painting. I had them come and give me a quote. I liked him, he was very nice. He was very efficient and very organized. So he gave me some quotes and we hired him. He is now completing the work. I am waiting to do a walk-through of his work. I can't say about the quality of the work yet.

This provider came out and was very professional. He told me that he didn't think he could complete my job within that time frame of 8 hours and I feel as though he was trying to get some more money out of me. He could not work within my time frame either. I feel as though he was too advanced for what I needed.

The job provided was of excellent quality.  If you are just looking for the lowest bid, this is not the painting contractor for you.  If you are looking for a highly professional and superior quality job at a reasonable cost than this firm should be considered.  I couldn't be happier with the finished job.  The painters were professional and polite, showed up on time, stayed on the job until complete, and did what they stated they would do in a complete written quote.  In addition, each morning the lead painter provided a verbal review of the work planned that day and provided answers to my questions.  When the job was complete, the owner and I conducted a final review to make sure I was satisfied with the job.   I was especially pleased with a suggestion from the lead painter involving the shutters and the paint scheme.  My wife loved the look.  I would use this contractor again and would recommend them to my family and friends.  I believe that is the best thing you can say about a contractor.
