I purchased an upright vacuum about 2 years ago from this business. I smelled a burning smell while using the vacuum last night. I took it today to get it repaired and not only was the belt replaced right away, there was no charge! You can't ask for better service than that.

This company has been in business in the Mobile area since 1954. I have been using them for years for repairs to my older vacuums which were two Electrolux canisters and one Hoover upright. The canisters were for home use and the Hoover was used in a rental condominium. The Electrolux vacuums performed well for a number of years and required routine maintenance from time to time, as did the Hoover. Over time I found it more convenient, less expensive and more pleasurable to have Aand A do the maintenance than the Electrolux and Hoover dealers from whom the vacuums were purchased.
When the newest Electrolux motor burned out, I took it to Aand A for a repair quote. I was told it would be in excess of $100.00 and I had just spent $40+ on another repair within the last year. Since the appliance was so old, I decided to trade it in on a new one.
After lengthy discussions about various brands, I did some research on my own and decided to purchase a Miele Capri, model S2121. The gentlemen who helped me with my decision answered all my questions and throughly explained the features of the Miele which confirmed my decision to make the purchase.
I could not have been more pleased with my new vacuum. It performs beautifully and I couldn't be more pleased. It is my understanding that Aand A will be the ones to perform any service on the unit if needed. That was also a consideration in my purchase decision.
ALL of the employees I have come in contact with have been EXTREMELY helpful and courteous. It is a pleasure to do business with them just as it has been through the years past. I absolutely cannot recommend the company and it's employees more highly. I feel completely satisfied that I made the right purchase for my needs and they were there to guide me through the process. I gladly give them and A+ rating. They have two locations in the area: one in Mobile and one in Fairhope.
