I have a contract with them and they come out twice a year, in the spring to check our air conditioner and in the fall or winter to check our heating. They are wonderful and all of their boys are nice. To me their price is very reasonable and the price is not high like a lot of people because we tried a lot of local people. They would say what they charge and I would rather use these people because they are clean when they come into your house and they put little booties on and don’t drag their feet when they are coming in. They are amazing. If we use them whatever is the job we make sure we get the best.

There was no cost for the work. They did a good job. I would use them in the future.

It’s a company that I would highly recommend. If I’ve ever run into any kind of idiosyncrasy, I call them, they come out and they make it right. For example, when I installed my entire new system, I put in what they called an air scrubber which cost me additional money. As it turned out, because of some problems with moving air through my house; they came in, and this at least a year later, they put in another air return, totally at their expense. Then they said, to keep the good air flow, I not supposed to use the air scrubber and the filters that go in the air return is in the ceiling of my great room which is 5 or 6 inches thick. They have foam around and only have to be replaced every 6 months; so because I am not using the air scrubber anymore with the filter, they said that they will give me 3 years of the filters for the new air return for free. I used them because that’s the kind of company that they are. When I bought my system, it was the most energy efficient system that existed in the market with duel heat, 2 compressors and variable speed. I am somebody who believes that you get what you pay for. They maybe more expensive than some but they do a good job. This system has a lifetime warranty of the heat exchange and 10 years on something else; so I am just not going to be shelling out money.

original heating/air equipment installed in September of 2003. American Standard HVAC. on 3/30/2003 new compressor installed by AIr Now for now cost. System checked by AIR NOW. on 9/26/2007 new compressor installed by AIr Now. System checked out. on 9/4/2007 new compressor was needed - checked by Autauga Heating and Air. This local company (Millbrook, AL) has also checked my sister's air conditioning this summer and told her she needed "new system for $4000, probably new duct work, etc., etc. At my recommendation, Autauga Heating and Air was called for second opinion, and problem was repaired for $65. My neighbors have also had to replace systems put in by AIr Now. They are pushy, extremely condescending, and downright unethical in our opinion. I am a single parent, female, and have to watch what i spend. My dealings with them have found them to be unprofessional, extremely inept with their knowledge and repair of problems, and high pressure for replacing units that only need repair!!!! I frankly don't understand how they remain in business. EVERY time i've called repair for this unit, other companies tell me something was done "improperly". I believe this unit was possibly defective at installation or installed improperly. I do not wish to contact them even now, when i need YET ANOTHER compressor that in fact, is still under warranty. I am paying for a NEW SYSTEM because i'm certain something from installation is causing my compressors to fail. I will have another company install this new system.

The first talk I had was with Daniel French in January. He came to my residence looked over my furnace and air conditioner. I purchased this home in Oct. 2009. The air conditioner was really old. The seller paid for a year with American Home Shield which I was great full for. In 2010 I had to call American Home Shield three times to work on the air conditioner and to clean the coil in the attic and to clean the drain tube. The businesses that American Home Shield called didn't help any even tho they said they had fixed the problem. The problem was water gathering under my furnace and I had to keep pumping it out. My power bills and gas bills were really high. In January, Daniel French looked over the air conditioner and the coil in the attic. While he was up in the attic, he detected the insulation board was off of the side of the unit in the attic. He taped it back and put a couple of screws in it to hold. It sure helped the heating. Mr. French suggested me putting in a heat pump. He also told me that my furnace was a 2005 and looked good. He gave me an estimate and at that time I couldn't afford it. I called Air Now back in May and Mr French came back out to the residence and looked and measured everything and wrote down everything that needed done. That day before he left, I knew when the crew would be out and everything that was going to be done. The crew was suppose to be out at noon on a Thursday . They called and said they had ran into a problem on the job they were doing and would be out later. They came out about 5 pm that evening and didn't leave until about 11 pm. They did a marvelous job. They were very professional. The guys couldn't finish up that night because there was water under the furnace. They pumped it out for me and said it would have to dry out for a couple of days before they could finish. A few days later they came back out and finished sealing under the furnace. Mr French came out about a week later to check everything over. I am very pleased with Air Now and Mr. French. I would recommend them to anyone. I couldn't be more pleased with the heat pump.

Air Now was very professional. If you have any question they get back to you right away. They provide great service and are very reliable.

My son was with me to talk to them about a new installation when they arrived and when they left my son commented on how honest a company they presented themselves to be. They are indeed honest and the most friendly company I have ever had an experience with. From the moment we walked in to the completion of the installation my experience was wonderful, honest, respectful, pleasant, clean, and they even arrived on a Sunday! The owner showed up to check on his techs as well and I felt like they would have done backbends for me if I'd asked. I couldn't believe how positive the service was. I bragged about them to a friend who suggested I brag about them on Angie's List as well... so I am.

Do not use this company. We called them when our air stopped working. We had to have them come out three times total and they tried to charge us each time when they properly did not fix it. At the final visit, they tried to sell us a complete new unit. We called for a second opinion and was able to get it fix for less than $200.00 and have had no isues since. After we complained, we did end up getting a partial refund from the Company due to our dissatisfaction with services. After talking to others, they seem to have a habit of trying to sell people equipment that is not needed for their own financial benefit.

Daniel came out and made an extensive study and measured for our air needs and made 3 proposals. We had called around and gotten another bid, price was the same, but Daniel's bid included more services with extra return space cut out,which made the unit more efficient, the return area sealed and the ducts sealed where needed. We were very impressed with the knowledge and training and professional attitude of every technician that came out from start to finish. AirNow also offered financing with 1 year interest free. Daniel was more trained and educated on heat pump technology than the other company consultant and was genuinely concerned over our needs. He has called several times to see how we like the new unit. We love the new unit and our power bill was 1/2 what it was before the new unit!!!

AirNow telephoned for an appointment. Appointment was for 8-10 am Tuesday. Technician arrived @ 8:30, went right to work. Cleaned inside and outside unit, performed maintenance checks, in all was here for more than two hours, very extensive service checks.

Excellent Job completed from start to finish. The installers had the job completed in one day. They took the old Heater/AC and sent it to never never land where it was destined to end up. They installed the brand new Heater and AC with no problems. Mom and I finally had heat!. The heat felt great after not have any for 3 days!. I have nothing bad to say about the job or the associates. Very professional on the removal and installation. Air Now did all of this knowing it would take me about 4 days to have the money to pay them for the job. I highly would recommend them to anyone needing a Heater/AC.

Technician showed up on time, went right to work troubleshooting an a/c unit that two other companies were unable to resolve. He ordered the correct parts, installed them when they were received. The parts were what was needed and the unit has worked since. Very good service!

It still hasn't been resolved. They have threated to put a lien on my house because I refuse to pay the balance.
