My Team, Christian S and Timothy C were awesome! They were on time and did the work quickly and professionally. Kudos to this pair! Everything was explained and the utmost care was taken with my sagging, aging old house. They were even approved by my dog who oversaw all the work. Cody, who did the original inspection was great too. He didn't talk me into anything that was not needed.

Excellent experience with AFS Foundation & Waterproofing in Huntsville! Christian Sanchez, Charles Freeman, Jaime Mahan, and Riley were professional and kind. The man that came out to give us a quote was also professional and kind (so sorry I didn't get his name). Thank you for making us feel better about purchasing this house. The first thing we did was waterproof the crawlspace.

AFS were totally professional! Mold remediation, sump pump installation and French drain along with total encapsulation and dehumidifier. Looks fantastic!! Would recommend to anyone.

From the first phone call to request an estimate to the completion it was excellent,. AJ Wiegard gave us a second estimate which was at least $5000.00 less with the most expensive estimate from AFS. AJ continued to go line my line and delete anything that was not needed, but was in the previous estimate. It brought the price down even more. We appreciated that nothing was added that we did not need but could be charged for. It was a 2 day job. It was done in 2 days. Matthew Carey the lead in this project called to let us know that they were going to come early. At the end of the day, he let us know the status of the job and assured us that it would be completed the next day. Matthew, Bryan, Shane all did a great job. Pictures were taken to show us the work. My husband took a look too. The yard was cleaned up and they even removed old "stuff" that was left under the house. A short while later Trevar Akins, Production Manager, showed up at our house shortly after the men all left. He asked to look at the job to see that everything was done correctly. Mr. Akins assured us that everything was done correctly. We really appreciate the attention that AFS gave us in having this job done. Thanks, Donna and Jay.

Sorry I even called this company. Took them 4 trips to my house to correctly complete the installation of vapor barrier system, wall insulation and Sump Pump System under my house.What was supposed to be a two day job took over a month to finish! Only reason the issues were corrected is because I inspected the work and called them out on shoddy work. Day 1 crew started work at 0930 and left around 2pm. Next day they were not done at 5 pm and said they would be back to finish job next week because they had a job in Jasper. Really??? Who does that? Vents were not sealed off and blocked before insulation was installed on the foundation walls and I was told they were, insulation was not installed between all floor joists. I had the crew supervisor tell me to my face the vents were sealed off, they were not. Sent pics in via email, quality inspector came out to my house and tried to tell me vents were sealed, QA inspector finally conceded the vents were not sealed and crew had to come back out and take down insulation off the foundation walls and block vents like they should have done the first time around. Dumped Styrofoam material from drain lines all over my yard, I had to spend over on hour to clean up mess so my dog would not eat the cute little stars! Asked twice for my paperwork for my dehumidifier and sump pump so I could register them with manufacturer for warranty coverage. Area manager said he would email them to me never did, sent follow up email never got an answer back. Spent 12k for this bull crap! Ridiculous!!! My neighbor stopped by and mentioned he saw the AFS truck at my house and said he used AFS as well. I asked him about his experience, he said he was not happy with their work. I guess if you don't check their work you will be good to go.

Horrible experience. They quoted me $5,300 to install EZ Flow Lines and a sump pump under a small 1000 sf home. After I expressed concern over the price, they took aprox $300 off. They explained it was very labor intensive work and they would have to hand dig trenches to bury the easy flow the required six inches under ground and slope the dirt so that the water would drain properly into the sump pump. The salesman said they would have to come a week before they start the job with their own equipment and pump out all of the water. That did not happen. They also said it would take four men at least two days to do the install. Two men showed up and spent only 5 hours in the crawl space. Some of that was down time because they broke a pipe under the house. They handed me a bill for the balance due of aprox $3,900. I got on the phone with the sales person and told him I was surprised they finished in just 5 hours. His response was that he had sent his most efficient workers to do the job. I told them I was reluctant to pay in full until someone came out and inspected the work. I offered to pay them $3,000 of the $3,900 balance until it could be inspected and the owner provide an explanation why the job was supposed to be so large and labor intensive when im fact it wasn’t. They agreed but it all went down hill after that. They said the owner was out of town and it may be a week. In the meantime, I contacted a company to Jack the kitchen floor now that the crawl space was supposed to be dry. The company arrived only to inform me that my crawl space was flooded and the EZ Flow was never buried. It was floating in water. I called Ben Bayless, the owner of AFS and tried to explain the situation to him and come up with a resolution. He was very demeaning and confrontational.. I’ve had to hire another company to do the job right.

I can't brag enough on the crew. They did an awesome job. Daniel, Johnathan, & Edwardo worked very hard and long hours. They were very polite and respectful to me. That means a lot to me. Adam did my initial survey and estimate. He was also very nice and did a thorough survey of my property. I appreciate all of them and would not hesitate to call them again for any work.

It was very good. This house is not on a slab, it's on a crawlspace. So they put the jacks in the crawlspace and then leveled things up.
