Scheduled the maintenance 2 weeks in advance for the first appointment of the morning on March 1 2012. As a rule they said the technicians would arrive between 8am and 12 noon. No problem. I took off work and waited and waited and waited. No technician - no phone call no anything. At noon, I had to go back to work. at about 12:15 I called them to see what happened. I was told the technicians had been on the way at 8:30 AM and should have been there. Naturally when the young lady called them they were "turning onto my street". Anyway I had to work and they would have to come back. They came back at 3:00 pm and worked on the fence fro a while. they were very polite and extremely professional. However, they were unable to make the fence operational. They believed that the moisture in the property was masking another break in the line but were unsure. My property stays wet. Guys were going to try and come back the next day but were unsure if they could make it.
I called on the 16th and left a voicemail - no response
I called on the 23rd and left a voicemail - no response
I called three times over the last three days left one voicemail - no response
I sent the following email this morning to their general mailbox i found online:

Are you guys out of business? Your technicians came to my home on the 1st of MArch and were coming back the next day to complete repairs and never returned. No phone calls from your office and no contact on my calls I have placed and messages left. Please advise me if I need to go somewhere else please.
Sincerely,
and got the following response back
Mr. I was told by my technician that the ground where they needed to be was under water, it rained every other day for 2 weeks after they were there. I was also told by my technician that you were going to call me when it was dry so we could come finish our work. I received one message you on Tuesday and it was returned for you to call a schedule when we could come back out. I know you originally wanted to be present so I haven?t just sent someone out to fix it until I heard from you. Please call me today and I will be happy to get the guys out there to finish.
Thank You,
Gretchen I responded with the following email:
Gretchen,
I was not aware that I was supposed to call you guys to reschedule. When they left that afternoon, they told me they would be back the next afternoon but if something came up that someone from the office would give me a call. They knew they couldn't guarantee me they could come back because of an install the next morning but said they would do their best. It rained the next morning so I didn't think about it. Your technicians were both very polite and very professional. I waited until the 16th of this month and then called to see what was going on and left a voice message. I received no response. I called last Friday and left a voice message and received no response. I called twice yesterday and got nothing but the voice message system but did not leave a message. I called this morning at 8:55 am and left a voice message and received no response until I emailed from your web page at 9:04. I have not gotten any calls or voicemails to schedule an appointment. Sincerely,
SO rather than just pick up the phone and give me a call i was asked to try yet again to contact them. The you ng lady I have spoken to is very polite and professional when I have been able to reach them. All the people I have dealt with have been wonderfully professional. It is the professionalism of the business itself that i call into question. Who leaves a custom hanging for a month?
UPDATE:
I would like to just say that I am sorry that this has turned into some sort of High School drama circus. I had no intention of that. I simply wanted to be serviced. I would like to take a few minutes and address the issues provided by the servicer.
I was upset when i initially called to ask where they were. The young lady. Had no idea where they were and called me back within about 15 minutes to let me know they were turning onto hwy 51 at that time which is a few miles from my home. I was already near I-459 by this time. If I somehow passed them I would have had no idea. Nor could it have even been possible.
I AM NOT RELATED TO AN EMPLOYEE OF A COMPETITOR. My sister -in-Law knows someone who has a competitive dealership. I did contact him through her initially to see what to do with these type of things and he advised me to always let the company who installed the system service it. He said they know their equipment and system better than anyone and while others can fix them it is always best to use a certified dealer of the system installed. I felt like that was good professional advice. I couldn't even tell you his name and haven't spoken to him since.
I made this report the same day but sometime after receiving an email as follows

I just received the voicemail from this morning, I was out of the office on Friday. Give me just a few minutes and Ill give you a call. I do apologize it sounds like everything is on the wrong foot with you and I just don?t let that happen.. Thanks againGretchen
I never got that phone call, was frustrated and wrote this report.
I dont prank call people and giggle. I am a forty year old foster parent, adoptive father through a church based organization who does not have time for that.
THe system is in warranty, the ownership of the home has not changed. I lease it from the owner who purchased the system and was handling the repair on his behalf due to the lease arrangement all repair responsibility falls on him as the owner. Just thought I would get it done and handle it myself as a favor for being so kind to us.
I really hate this has turned silly. If the owner would like to contact me I will be glad to discuss and I would be willing to withdraw the rating or change to something that more accurately reflects the service level I would receive going forward.
Nothing malicious here. Just a guy trying to get someone to come look at my fence.
