s for my skin care needs.Surgery was scheduled, procedure was done and successful.  Dr. Monheit is very easy to work with.  he communicates well and answers questions fully.  He communicated during the procedure so I was aware of the progress he was making.  His staff made sure I was comfortable and at ease before, during, and after the surgery.  Afterwards Dr. Monheit made sure I knew exactly what he found, what follow-up would be needed and what the future might hold for the issues I was seeing him for.
I would recommend Dr. Monheit for anyone needing to have a dermatologist consultation, treatment, or surgery.  I continue to see him on a regular basi

I have used Dr. Monheit for skin cancer evaluation and surgical treatment for 15 years.  I am very fair-skinned and had sun damage as a child/teenager.  I have subsequently developed basal cell skin cancer on my face.  Dr. Monheit diagnosed through biopsy and surgically removed the skin cancer on 4 different occasions.  He is an EXCELLENT surgeon.  One of the skin cancers was in a prominent place on my nose.  After removing the cancer using the Mohs technique, I had a small 'dip' in my nose where the cancer had been removed.  Dr. Monheit did a subsequent skin graft and was able to get it covered under my insurance.  It is now several years later and you can hardly tell where the graft was done, even without my makeup.  I can wholeheartedly recommend him (and have many times) to anyone experiencing skin cancer.
