OK, I only have direct experience with the service crew that comes out to the house to do the door and window repairs and replacements. This review is a compilation of my experiences with the KC South service personnel over a period of several years. Typical of other visits, today KC South sent out three technicians to replace sashes in four different rooms on the second and third floors of our house. The technicians were: Bill Young (lead), Wayne Campbell, and Chris Daigle. To make a long review concise, they did an extremely professional job in every way I can think of. - They contacted me the day prior to arrange a service time to fit my schedule. - They were all on time, actually a few minutes early. - They did not need any help from me other than to show them what rooms needed what sashes. - Whatever trash they produced, they cleaned everything up better than the way they found it. - I had to disassemble a desk to make room for them to reach one window. They actually reassembled the desk for me even though I told them that I could do it myself. Was that great or what! - They helped me to diagnose a leak on the exterior stucco band outside of one window frame. This had nothing to do with their window installation. They just saw a problem and showed me what needed to be done to correct it. Was that great or what! - They were all extremely friendly, courteous, and respectful of us, our house, and our belongings. Somehow they seemed to do things for me that I didn't even need to ask. They just did them anyway, like re-assembling the desk. - They worked fast! - Get this, they had to walk out on our roof so they came to me and confirmed with me exactly where they can step on our steel shingles so they would not damage them. How refreshing. - OK, is that enough? I hope you get the point. Bottom line is that as service technicians go, these gentlemen are absolutely the best I have experienced in all my years. I am serious. They were wonderful. On a separate but related thread, I have mainly had contact with Bill Young over the years. Bill is just a great guy. He is really smart about the whole spectrum of windows and doors, and he is the nicest, friendliest, most professional person you would ever want to meet. I can honestly say I look forward to his occasional visits. It is just a pleasure to have him come out to help us. I have seen Wayne Campbell several times too. He perfectly complements Bill. Finally, if you look at my other reviews, I do not always give positive reviews. They earned an excellent review in this case. This review of these gentlemen is the real deal.
Description of Work: KC South is a regional company that provides, among other things, repair services for Pella windows and doors. We had some defective window sashes and contacted KC South to order the replacement sashes and then provide the labor to do the installation.
