APS Professional Window Cleaning

The crew arrived on time, performed their work quietly and in a very professional way. They performed excellent work.

The work went very well.

They were friendly and very professional, were overall pleasant to deal with. They got right to work and didn’t waste anytime. They even offered to take care of all of my windows, which I took them up on.

Overall everything went great. 2 employees  arrived and immediately commenced working on cleaning the gutters.  The window washing went incrediblly fast. One person cleaned upstairs while the other was down.  The windows and gutters were cleaned to my satisfaction.  While the crew was late, they recovered with their speed in getting the work done.

They got here on time and were professional.  Did a great job.

They did a really good job. I was not there when they did the job, but when I got home the windows were very clean; so, I was very satisfied. The price was very good and so was the quality. They were responsive.

I was very happy with them. I thought the guys were very personable. The guy in charge was especially pleasant to deal with. He was personable and professional and wanted to make sure I was happy with the job. I liked them very much. I was very happy with the work that they did on the windows; they were quiet and neat. I will use them again in the future.

It was an Angie's List Big Deal offer.  The work went fine.  They were in and out very quickly.  They came the very same day.  I would definitely recommend them again.

They did the job rapidly and accurately.  The windows were very nicely done.  They cleaned up after themselves.  They finished a two storey house in 40 minutes.  I find their price quite fair.  They were her e at 8AM on a holiday. I would use them in the future.

A great company overall.  Joel was very professional, arrived exactly on time and did a great job.  My windows are spotless and the attention that he gave to my gutters make them look like they were just put up.  I would gladly use JET again next year.

Workers were on time and worked diligently.  They took care around furniture.  We had no problems and are very pleased with the work.  Price was low due to Angie's List "deal".

APS did a great job.  They showed up early and when I returned, they had already completed the outside of the house.  They climbed onto the roof to get at windows that were not accessable by ladders.  Inside, they did every window, wiped the sills, and even did the windows in the two-story staircase. The showed up with 5 people and were done with my 30 windows (including a french door with 8 small panes) in 35 minutes.  The glass looked great.  The only minor thing wrong was they did not put back everything they moved to access the windows, not a big issue.  Overall, they did a great job and I would hire them again.

I bought the Big Deal on Angie's List for $109 a few weeks ago.  I called to make an appt. and they were pretty booked up probably because of the offer.  I was able to get an appt. around 3 weeks after I called.  Heather set up my appt. for 8:00 a.m.   I asked for a little later time since we sleep a bit later in the summer, but she said that was the only morning time available.  I never did get a call confirming the appt., so I was afraid that they weren't coming when it was 8:05 and no one was here. We had gone through the house the night before and taken all of our screens off the windows and they were sitting in the rooms.  I didn't want to have to reschedule.   I called and spoke to someone who said that they don't normally start until 8:30.  I said my appt. was at 8:00 and he said they were on their way.  I called back around 9:00 when they still weren't here and was told by another man that, yes, my appt. was at 8:00 and they should be here any time.  They pulled up in the driveway while I was on the telephone with him.  I was never given an apology for them being late or an explanation.

The two men who arrived were pretty rough looking.  I was a bit concerned about having them in our home.  One did not speak English, but the other one did.  I will list the pro's and con's of the experience:

Pros:  The price
            Not having to clean the windows ourselves
            They finished in two hours
            They put the screens back on the windows

Cons:  They did not look professional.
             They used the same rags to clean with even though they were getting dirtier with each window.  I had black water       
             dripped all over the house on the floor, kitchen counter and carpet.  They cleaned the outside first and then came in
              with the dirty rags to clean the inside.
             I had to ask one of them to take his shoes off after walking around outside in the wet grass and mud.
             They left the water on and I didn't see it until several hours later when I noticed the driveway had water running down
              it. 
              The windows were not completely clean -- I would give them a 7 on a scale of 1 - 10.

Suggestions for improvement: 
Have the employees dress to look professional ~ The only company logo I saw was a small 3 X 5" sticker on the door of their vehicle.  I only saw that because I went outside while they were working.  When workers are coming into your home for a service, the customer needs to feel safe and confident.
Bring enough rags to use one per window or use disposable cloths. 
BE ON TIME!!  If you are running late, call and let the customer know.  An hour late is not acceptable.
Take your shoes off at the door or wear shoe covers.

I did give them a $10 tip because they looked like they could use some lunch money. 

We used this company through the Big Deal.  They were very prompt and punctual.  They did a great job on the windows.  When they left they forgot to hang the curtain on the garage and left a few windows open, but that was not a big deal. 

The job went well. The office told me that their employees would arrive about 4:00pm; they arrived shortly before 4:00pm. While washing windows and cleaning gutters is obviously not a complex task, the price was a great value and the service was well executed. APS provided great service and I would use them again.
