The teachers were great, but the turn over rate for the staff speaking to past families are high. My niece and nephew learned a lot from the school. But it is too much stuff. There are pictures on the floor, wall, etc. It is congested for the amount of space. The owner was putting plastic on top of pictures with tape, when I picked up my niece one day and I was thinking don't you have enough stuff down. I would give the owner the money each week only to have to wait for my receipt another week later. Sometimes, the receipts was done in pencil. She was so unorganized. She would blame her disorganization on the other co-owner, her husband. She would tell the parents what they could or could not wear. I know she told my sister about her housecoat twice. My sister could not afford a coat and that is what she was using, for one. She had her work uniform underneath. Anytime you would ask her something about the classroom, she could not tell you and told us to ask the other teacher.
The owners are nice people, but are so disorganize. These poor teachers work so hard and seem to get very little in return. There would be times when I would pop up just to see what staff was in the building and never seen the owner. She probably greeted me 10% of the time that my niece and nephew came and none when they left.
My neice and nephew went to the school, back to back for the Preschool Program that was funded by some type of grant. So the first year they paid nothing and the next year my nephew had to pay 10.00 a week. Hence, if he would have stayed for the summer, it would have been 85 a week. I was told that was their regular payments. My nephew learned a lot as well as my niece. But I felt that I would like to have seen the owners of the school a little bit more, since it is their school. How can you not be at something that is not yours.
