They were nice at the beginning, but ran into difficulties with me later on. For example, the title officer was not able to get the loan payoff for some reason that I was not able to find out. I contacted the financial institution and they said that there were no reason why the title officer could not get the information. I had to get the information and relayed that to them. Then, the title officer had to call me several times to get the trust paperwork out to them. I explained that the information are private. I don't know why they needed more information about who gets what assets, etc. I felt that they may not have experience or training in this area. After the trust information was squared away, the title officer asked my address and I did not know that the address would be relayed to the buyer, which I did not want. They said that it was required by law and so on. After that trust paperwork thing, I did not feel comfortable. The title officer became agitated and argued with me to the point that they hanged up on me. I called back and informed her that it was unprofessional to do the way they did. They took it personally and I had to go along with it even though I did not want my address to be revealed to the buyer. I contacted the realtor, who advised that we get a P.O. Box, an extra cost that I had no plans to spend, but otherwise necessary. From this point on, we had to have the realtor as a relay to them, who were unprofessional still at that point. Even they ignored our next-day delivery package, which they did not even tend to it until more than a day later after it arrived at the office. We had to call them following day after the package arrived to inquire about the status. Without that call, they would not even look at it. We wasted time and money driving and rushing to get the next-day delivery package out because of their professionalism and attitude. After a couple of days, I was able to talk to the title officer as I was having questions, but I could tell by their voice that they were still upset, but otherwise helpful. Even at the very end, I sent them an email and never responded after a week. I emailed my realtor and they finally emailed the response quickly afterwards. After what I had to go through, I will not use them again, unless they improve on their professionalism and her attitude. It was difficult to work with them especially with the trust documents as well as towards the end.
