Two guys came and they had blowers, mowers, edgers, weed wackers and just went to work quickly and it saved me hours of time racking. They asked if there was anything else they could do and I had them move some heavy items around. They were pleasant and efficient. I would use them again.

Just Lawns is terrific in my book.
They were here to begin our third season and man, did they work. I was gone a lot last Fall, but did not
realize how many leaves did not get cleaned out of the brush in the back yard.
Dave and Eric, today's crew, were exceptionally polite, hardworking, and communicated well. That has been our experience
the two prior seasons as well.
When there's extra work required, the crew boss always discusses the need and anticipated cost ahead of time with me.
I have always been satisfied with the service they provide and the way the yard looks when they are finished.

The person mowing the lawn used a riding type mower that left bald spots in the yard and when the large wheels turned, it dug up the grass in several areas of the yard. When he turned around in the driveway, which is gravel, the wheels dug into the gravel leaving holes. I asked that the grass clippings be bagged and hauled away. The grass clippings were dumped in a spot behind the shed (which I was surprised he found). I called and spoke with them, and complained about the poor service and the shape the yard was left in (bald spots from the wheels) and the dumping of the grass. They apologized for the grass clippings not being bagged and did not charge me. They also said they could send someone out to pick them up, but I declined. When I received the bill in the mail, I noticed they even got my email address incorrect.

We have been so very happy with their service this summer. The are fast, methodical and make us look great! Imagine a refuge where you can enjoy a cup of tea on a velvety lawn and absorb the scents of flowers and fresh-cut grass. They have been very reliable, in and out with minimal disruption, bagging up the cuttings ready for garbage pickup, flexible in payment frequency, work with a smile, and care about their clients. Highly recommend!

I have used Just Lawns intermittently to mow my lawn over the last three years, using them primarily when out of town or unable to mow my lawn myself. They do a beautiful, neat job every time. They are fast, efficient, clean up after themselves and the lawn looks great.

I needed more than just lawns provides- trim hedges, clean up flower beds, etc. - so went to provider that did more.

My lawn mower broke, and while it was out for repair I turned to Just Lawns, who had been recommended by a neighbor. They came out the same day that I called them. Sweet. Very nice people. The second time they came, I'm afraid that they weed wacked a flower garden, but I have to admit that I did not tell them that it was a garden -- things were just coming up and perhaps he thot they were weeds? Next time I use them I will be more specific.

Mowing, including edge trimming. Alternate cutting direction weekly.

Lawn service was incomplete, despite clear per-order and conversation with the workers that day. Hedge trimming wasn't done initially because the team forgot the hedge trimmer. When they did return, they didn't bring a ladder or any mechanism to ensure a straight cut. Finally, billing was repeated numerous times, despite phone calls to their office to confirm payment had already been made. Workers were nice enough, but to many things were wrong with the service and can't recommend using this company.

I came home from work and saw that the cleanup had been done. It wasn't really done well, but at least it was done. There were burn spots where they had cut the lawn too close. I was willing to overlook that as a minor problem that would not matter after a few weeks of grass growth.
I checked to see if lime had been applied. I'm familiar with both types of lime. I looked all over, and there was no lime. I called the company. The owner, Joe, called me back once he had come by during the day to check for himself. He said he had and quot;put good money after bad,and quot; coming out to check on his crew and that he would schedule his guys to come back and finish the job.
I waited a few weeks for services to be completed. Nothing. Finally I called again, and they said they were busy but would get out to do the service soon. It just never happened.
I submitted a dispute with my credit card company. Joe (or maybe his admin assistant?) *lied* to my credit card company, and faked an invoice so that I could not even get a refund. Of course there was no way to prove that they had performed or not performed the service, since grass grows and lime gets absorbed into the soil. I've only ever disputed a credit card charge twice in my life, and I wouldn't go to that trouble if it weren't a legitimate complaint.
Never, ever, will I use or recommend Just Lawns.

I used Just Lawns for a spring clean-up for my yard. They did a great job, arrived when scheduled and completed the work agreed upon. Based on this work I called the company and requested an estimate for cleaning all the windows in my house. The receptionist stated they would send a team to look at the house and give me a call with the estimate. I never heard back from them. When I got the bill for the spring clean up it had a place where additional services could be requested I checked the window cleaning box and added “Estimate” next to it. Several weeks later I get a notice that the window cleaning will be $4 per pane. I called the company again and asked the receptionist if the $4 per pane included both sides of a storm window or if it was for each side of the window and what size windows are they talking about. She stated she didn’t know and would have someone contact me. No one ever called back. Needless to say I gave up and decided I would do the windows myself before fall hit and after all the construction around my house was completed.
Next thing I know I get a bill on 8/8/12 for supposed window washing service that occued on 7/3/12 in the amount of $73.50. $70 for the windows (I assume to be 17.5 windows @ $4/pane). Surprised by this bill I walked all around my house looking at each and every window and could not find any that appeared to have been washed. All looked as dirty as before. I could even run my finger down the panes and remove the dirt. I promptly called the company and advised the receptionist that I received a bill for services that were not authorized nor were they performed. She stated that there must be some kind of accounting error as she has fielded several other calls that morning with the same complaint. She advised that she would forward my information on to her manager when she came in.
Several hours later I receive a call from a gentleman, no introduction, asking where I was located. At first I thought it was a prank call since the gentleman would not identify himself. I simple do not give out my address to anyone asking. He then asked if I was located at and “XXX Street” I said no. Then on a hunch I asked if he was from Just Lawns and he stated yes and he needed to know where my house was so he could come by and see what the problem was. I then gave him my address. When he arrived he promptly stated that he and his partner indeed washed my windows. I asked for him to show me which ones and he pointed to a few (definately no 17.5 windows). Asked why they didn’t do all the windows, which was what I wanted, he stated they would have had to move things to get to them. This was not totally true as others he did not point to had clear access. I informed that if I had authorized the work and if I had known they were coming I would have been home and the areas around each window would have been clear for easy access. I inspected the windows he claimed to have cleaned and stated they didn’t look clean to me to which he stated “well it’s been a few weeks they a little dusty now”. I stated if they indeed cleaned the windows it was a very poor job, one which I did not authorize and for which I will not pay. He proceeded to call his office, again did not identify himself to which the other person on the other end had to ask who he was. He informed the office person, I assume to be the manager, that he did clean my windows to which I added if he did it was not authorized and was a poor job if he indeed cleaned them. He talked a minute or so more with the office than stated, it doesn’t matter, you will not be charged and left.
Thinking everything was settled I let it go until today (9/6/12) when I once again received another bill from Just Lawns for the same supposed window cleaning. I guess I have to start the whole conversation all over again. BEWARE: I read about this same complaint, being billed for services not authorized before opting for the spring clean-up. But since they did a good job on the spring clean up I thought I would get the same professional work from the window washing service. I was wrong.

They did a wonderful job and we would recommend them to others. There was absolutely no problem and they came, cleaned up and they were gone. We had no issues at any time.

They also offer mowing services. They did a great job on my lawn. They come when scheduled. They have their own equipment. I have been using them for a year. I purchased a package with them.

Several weeks into the service, Just Lawns mowed down an entire perennial bed. When we contacted the company to discuss the problem, they initially didn't return calls, then scheduled a time to come out and review the damage, then cancelled that appointment. The owner indicated that we would not be charged for that service, but we continued to receive a monthly bill for it for almost a year. Receipt of a bill would prompt another call to the company to address the damage, and we never received any follow up to the messages we left with the company's receptionist. We finally got the bill to stop coming by filing a formal BBB complaint.

They did a great job. Very fast and professional. But, it can take them several days from the time you call to when they come mow, I think because of how they map out their routes.
