Faced with a non-functioning upstairs toilet and dripping old kitchen faucet with holiday guests on the way, I was grateful that Dave found time to help me. Once I purchased the necessary items, Dave kept me informed as to when he could come. He and his son went straight to the tasks. His son handled the upstairs issues: removal of old toilet and installing new one, connecting new smoke detector and new ceiling light. Dave tackled the kitchen faucet that, though Home Depot had suggested would be a 15-minute DIY job, was a challenge as after 35 years the nuts and bolts had fused together. Difficult to reach and immovable, Dave finally was able to drill through the nuts to extract the old faucet. Despite the discomfort and frustration, he kept up his sense of humor. So glad I hadn't attempted it myself!
They were meticulous in clean up, and asked me to watch for leaks in case further tightening was needed. When a small leak occurred between the toilet base and tank, Dave responded quickly. I have many larger projects ahead which I discussed with Dave. He referred me to another company which specializes in tub-to-shower conversions, but I will call on him again when I am ready replace some doors and complete trim work. I look forward to using his services again.

The job required several visits. He was always there when he said he would be, and called if he needed to change the schedule. He was friendly, polite and conscientious. I was very happy with his work, and would have him work for me again if needed.

I had a small deck suspended off my living room and no access to my back yard. Jensen Construction added a deck and rails the full length of my house, added stairs that allowed access to my backyard, and stained all. They were prompt with their work and were able to start a few days early. It was a much larger project that first anticipated, but they still finished on time. No details were left out, if it didn't meet their standard they started over to make sure it was perfect. Would use them again in an instant!

I am so pleased to have found a contractor who is professional and timely in completing work projects. Dave responded to my request promptly. After explaining what I wanted, Dave was very helpful in finalizing that thought. He also was very conscientous in suggesting alternatives that might be helpful to me as an individual with physical limitations and as to the design.
Dave was able to remove a tree from back yard prior to building the deck, eliminating the need for me to contact a separate company. Dave and his son built my decks in a timely fashion and with little disruption to my home access at all. Dave's completed work is more than I ever expected and I am thrilled with the results. My guests have had positive comments on his work. A friend that works in the construction field commended Dave for his excellent work.
Dave was also very helpful in other jobs that I needed to have done. He repaired a gate entrance so that it properly latches together now. I came home and discovered Dave had powerwashed and stained my gate entrance, a small side deck and my wheelbarrel flower container to match my deck. It looks great!

As my time is limited when I'm in town, Dave installed the front deck and back steps @ the end of July, we ordered the back door at this time and this was installed along with the window cranks 9/12/11. The work was done efficiently and completed on time. Dave kept me informed of details of the job and if there were any changes. While installing the back door he noticed a hole from the back roof/deck into the shop area where I had had a water problem for some time. He fixed this while installing the door.
I am totally in love with my new deck and steps and would recommend Dave to other friends and family.

I contacted the Jensen Construction Company for a window replacement. We made an appointment for them to come and give me an estimate. They were very punctual and an estimate was made. We agreed and a search for the picture window in my living room was begun. Unable to find what I wanted an order was placed. Mr. Jensen indicated the window would arrive in about two weeks. True to form the window arrived two weeks later. Mr. Jensen called and informed me that window had arrived, however, the window was damaged in transit. Mr. Jensen reordered the window. Mr. Jensen went to bat for me and required the new window be ordered on an expedite manner. Approximately ten days later the window arrived and was installed without a hitch. My view of the mountains has retrurened thanks to the efforts of the Mr. Jensen and company.

The work was excellent. Jensen replaced deck railing with interior grade railing. Installed new corner posts that are much stronger than the original posts.

We were so pleased with Jenson Construction and their excellent quality of work. They were professional, courteous, and prompt (even worked as much as they could through a rainy afternoon)! We were totally impressed with their willingness to come and do the work on short notice!
Dave and his son also gave much appreciated advise on some weak material my husband purchased with a kit; and after they explained the reasoning, and my husband agreed, they went out and purchased the more sturdier material. They also made the foundation much more strong, which was an added bonus. Not to mention, they made our steps going into the back yard much more wider and not as steep, which was most helpful, seeings how we have an aging dog and the new steps Dave and his son built make it so much easier for her to go up down. Their expertise is remarkable!
They gave us a quote for the labor and it was very reasonable and affordable! At the end of their job (at times they worked long into the evening), we received an invoice for the price quoted and the receipts of the sturdier material they purchased, no hidden charges, etc.
We have received many compliments on our deck and are more than happy to give them such a positive review and yes, we will definitely call them to come back to work on our steps indoors and some other projects (once their busy season slows a little), and will without hesitation refer Jenson Construction to family, coworkers, and friends!

Dave Jensen was recommended to us by another craftsperson doing work in our home. We had multiple projects to undertake and were concerned about quality, price, and availabilty. In a house we were selling, D. Jensen replaced kitchen countertops and bathroom & laundry room flooring. Both areas were done quickly, neatly, and at a very reasonable cost. We next had D. Jensen advise us on how to repair garage doors on a duplex we owned. D. Jensen came up with a very practical and attractive solution that saved us from having to replace the garage doors. D. Jensen also refurbished the decks on both units in the duplex and completely remodeled the bathrooms in each unit which had significant water damage. D. Jensen also repaired the wood fence around the duplex which had begun to sag, tip over, etc. The finished result in each of the projects in the duplex were done with craftsman quality workmanship. D. Jensen then helped us figure out a way to be able to use the space under the back deck of our home to store outdoor equipment. The design was very sturdy and practical. The panels are removable for cleaning purposes. In all instances, we have felt D. Jensen's rates were more than reasonable. We have since recommended him to others and are aware that he has completed an Arctic entry project for a friend and the result is quite nice. We first met D. Jensen in January 2010 and have been engaging his services since. D. Jensen is preparing a design for a patio cover for our home and will be working on it in the coming weeks.

Dave Jensen did an excellent job demolishing & replacing my old porch, replacing my interior doors, door frames, & trim. He noticed & corrected some poor work done in my bath & kitchen by a previous contractor without my having to ask him.
