Anchorage Plumbing and Heating

My hot water heater stopped working. As it was 8 years old, I thought I would have to buy a new one. But when Guy from Anchorage Plumbing & Heating arrived, he said he could fix it, and he did. I have hot water again, and I didn't have to buy a new one. Saved me a lot of money. This is the company I will use from now on for plumbing and heating problems.

Great. This is the third project I had for Anchorage Plumbing and Heating and they did a fantastic job - as usual.

They were great. Showed up within the time frame they said they would. Didn’t find a water leak but worked with me to address any other issues. I didn’t shop around so no idea if they are the best priced but I think they are standard priced for the industry. Really good customer service, I forgot to apply the Angie’s list coupon and they were cool about applying it retroactively. As of now they are going to be my main plumbing contractor for my 4 plex.

They were fast and efficient, replacing what was needed and reusing components that were serviceable. I would use them again, and recommend them to anyone.

We called, they said they could come by around 2-4 pm. Called us before noon and said they could come sooner if that was alright. Of course it was alright! We were told on the phone it would take 2 hours, but he finished in just over an hour. Spent some time with us answering questions about assorted plumbing problems. Very professional and helpful.

They came out and were friendly. However, they were unable to fix my manifold due to compression connections. Nothing got fixed but still charged $130 for the visit.

we spoke with Gerald and he was very intuitive about repairing our in home heating system. We were impress of the knowledge and the understanding of time and need to upgrade our heater/boiler. We will definitely be using Anchorage Plumbing & Heating for future services. Of course he did such a great job, that may be a while. A+ across the board!

Easy fix. I may have missed my annual service so I got nailed by after hour weekend prices. Hope I remember this lesson!

I received excellent service today from the Anchorage Plumbing & Heating technician. Not having heat in temperatures below 16 degrees was extreme! The technician conducting the services was very thorough, timely and helpful! He explained the problem and ensured that everything was working properly before he left my residence. He noticed leaking from the ceiling of my laundry room which was coming from a leaking angle stop stem coming from the kitchen sink. He corrected the problem which could have caused an even bigger problems if it had continued leaking. I will definitely continue using Anchorage Plumbing & Heating as long as they continue providing excellent services!

Initial project required two call backs. One issue turned out not to be directly related to initial service. 2nd visit was. 2nd visit required add'l modification to initial work in an effort to further reduce noise. It was only partially successful. Unclear at this time whether results are related to work done by contractor or other issues inherent in infrastructure/water pressure.

A length of pipe as well as the faucet needed replacing. This was not surprising as the plumbing is at least 30 years old. Service was prompt so the problem was solved before the pipe froze.

They checked the pipe and said the faucet needed replacing. I asked them to check the pipe as I was concerned it was also leaking. He responded “it’s not leaking now”. Cost $135 and they were there five minutes. Problem not fixed

The technician came promptly to look at our system, and I was told that he would get with the boss to draw up a bid. I didn't hear anything for a few days, so called the office and was told they hadn't gotten to it yet. I called again the next week, and was told that the owner would call me back. He called back on Friday and said that it would be done by Monday. I didn't hear anything on Monday and so went with a different provider. Eventually, a bid did show up in the mail, weeks after it was useful to me. The quote was fine, but did not include a boiler as efficient as I was looking for. I see positive reviews of this company (which is why I contacted them in the first place), so I'm not sure what happened here.

Very hardworking and honest people. They took the time to explain things to me, even if I didn't quite understand. Will definitely call them again if I ever have any plumbing issues.

What stands out is they do everything. If there is something wrong they fix it. You bet ya, we will use them again.

They got the leak repaired and there were some other issues that were hard to catch. They came back to fix it. It was frustrating for them and for me. I don't know if it was their fault or the bum equipment that I had installed because I don't have a very good unit. This was the third time they came out to repair the water tank. After a certain point they did not charge me for labor. They were very fair. They were being as thorough as possible. They always came right out after I called and showed up when they said they would. They are fair, reasonable and knowledgeable.

They are very good and the price is good. They are very responsive.

The service tech that came out to check out furnace today did an excellent job. I had originally made the appointment for a light that was flashing red every 21 seconds, and found that it was a code for normal operation of the unit. He continued by performing an annual winter inspection on the furnace. A thorough cleaning was done, and all wiring and furnace functions checked out ok. The service that was done today was a great deal, and I recommend it to anyone else who might need the work done.

Excellent. Always count on Anchorage Plumbing when I'm in need of service. Fair and reliable, work as quickly as possible and they offer seniors a 10% discount on labor. They have great office staff as well who are ready to help you in any way they can.

I love everyone at Anchorage Plumbing and Heating. This company has handled my plumbing and drain needs since 1989 (almost 30 years) and all of their staff have always been courteous and efficient, and their services have always been reliable and reasonably-priced. Although most of my work is routine, I've had work done that required permitting. MOA inspectors are always delighted to learn they're following up on an AP&H job and one confided to me that you always know the job will be done correctly when the contractor is AP&H. Truly, I wouldn't dream of taking my business anywhere else.

Mark was very efficient, found the problem within a short amount of time. Had the part on the truck, so didn't have to leave my house to go to the shop.

Excellent. Repairman faced some difficult challenges with #2 and #4 (due to older plumbing) and he walked us through our options and made good recommendations. He completed the work successfully and in a timely manner, even though he faced some challenging obstacles. We were quite pleased with the outcome. This is the second time in a couple of years Anchorage Plumbing and Heating has solved some difficult plumbing issues for us. They will remain at the top of our list when we need to call a plumber.

They were fine. What I liked best was it wasn’t expensive. He didn’t like over haul my system like the last people I had here. He just fixed what needed to be fixed and recommended what I needed to do next and that was it. Actually, I think they were rated an “A” already and that was why I chose them. I will use them again.
