Clear Design and Build

We recently purchased a property that required significant work. After evaluating several options, we chose to work with Clear Design & Build, a trusted local company in Port Hueneme. Our first project with Clear Design & Build was the courtyard. Among other improvements, they removed the outdated concrete and replaced it with beautiful pavers. The original drain was a small, circular one positioned several feet from the edges of the courtyard, which was ineffective at channeling rainwater. Additionally, the slope leading to the drain was noticeable and impacted furniture placement. Roy recommended installing a linear drain along the edge of the new garage wall, which not only works efficiently but also adds an aesthetic appeal compared to the original small round drain. The new courtyard features a very gentle, nearly imperceptible slope, with the transition from the house to the courtyard seamlessly maintained at almost the same level, eliminating the need for steps. Our second project was a full kitchen remodel, including new flooring. Based on our budget, Roy suggested white Shaker cabinets and quartz countertops, which we absolutely love. We chose sleek bar handles, which complement the clean lines of the kitchen, and the “Carrara Mist” quartz countertop adds a touch of elegance. Roy also recommended adding a ledge to the window, which not only looks sophisticated but is also practical. At our request, they covered the cinder block walls, significantly improving the overall aesthetic. Another great suggestion from Roy was extending the flooring underneath the lower cabinets, which enhanced the flow and look of the space. His expertise guided us in selecting appliances, styles, and finishes, and the result is truly stunning. Clear Design & Build exceeded our expectations with both projects.
