- iFix++MemphisI have a detailed review below, but bottom line: BAD Customer Service + BAD repair + No Savings = GO ELSEWHERE! ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------- I used iFixMemphis (aka "iFix901" etc) to replace a screen/digitizer on my iPad 3. My suggestion: DO NOT USE their services. The price was comparable with other local repair shops ($150+tax). The work was sub-par, took multiple attempts and Still is not correct. The other reviews about how bad the customer service is are all spot-on in my opinion. I made 3 visits to the store and not once was I greeted with a Hello or any greeting. I never received a THANK YOU for your business nor even a simple, Have a good day or Come Back if you need anything. The attendant seemed borderline bored with having to assist someone. I work downtown so I went for convenience of location. That was my mistake. It's worth the drive to get it fixed elsewhere, if done correctly. iFixMemphis replaced my digitizer (the glass touch-screen) on my iPad 3. But when they gave me the 'fixed' iPad, it now had air bubbles between LCD & Digitizer. When I pointed it, they too saw it and said "Don't worry, you can ignore those, it will still work fine". No, it distorts the image and the MAIN point is, I paid for a new screen so it should Look and Act like New. I left it to be replaced Again. Each time was an overnight stay as it wouldn't be ready in 2 hours based on other reviews I read. iFix Memphis said "We will call you when it is ready". They never called. I left voicemail and tracked them down the next day where they implied the unit had been waiting for me to pick it up (they never called, but fine, I went to get it.) Upon the 2nd try at fixing it, the bubbles were gone, but Now it had a noticeable smudge underneath the screen.They said "Yes, I see it but it's fine. If we try to take it off, we will break the screen (???)--again" I don't care what they do so long as it's fixed. They are responsible for How they handle the repair & parts. They said "Don't worry, that (smudge) won't affect the performance". Again, they JUST DON'T GET IT... When you Pay for New screen, it should look brand new. This looks like I bought a used unit with a blemished screen. VERY disappointed. The iFixMemphis service techs either Don't Know How, or simply Don't take the Time, to do the job Right. I should have requested half my money back at a minimum as I could replace the screen for half the cost, I paid extra to ensure it would be done right. I left $170 poorer and disappointed.... anI will Not be a repeat customer nor can I recommend them in good conscience

"Our year-old 3D HDTV was hit by lightning. Panasonic informed us that Whitby TV was an authorized repair service for our TV. It is out of warranty, btw. I put in a request for service (I believe on a Monday) on their website. Soon after, I received a call and was informed of the charge to pick the TV up and take it in ($95) and that that amount would go towards the repair. Two people came and picked the TV up the next day and were very nice and professional and careful with the set. I received an estimate soon after (I believe the next day), and was told the part needed to be ordered. I authorized the repair and was relieved I would not need to replace the set. I was called on Friday morning to tell me it was ready and my husband set up a time to receive delivery that afternoon. He informed me the two who delivered were very nice and helpful. I believe they were the same two who picked it up. Also, since our satellite system was blown out as well, one of the delivery people was helpful in getting us in with the satellite company so that could be repaired more quickly as well. They went above and beyond. They made a very stressful situation so easy!
