- ALL-BRANDS FLOOR CARE INCI called on a Tuesday, and I was told someone would return my call that day to schedule an appointment. I didn't receive a call on Tuesday. I called back on Wednesday, and a couple of hours later someone returned my call. We scheduled an appointment for that Friday between 10 and 11. By 11:15, no one had arrived at my house, and I hadn't received any calls indicating the technician was running late. I called the office, and a nice man said either he or the technician would call me right back to let me know what was going on. 15 minutes later, I still hadn't received a call, and the technician hadn't arrived at my house. I called the office back. The man in the office said the technician was "on his way". When I asked if "on his way" meant 10 minutes or an hour, he said he wasn't sure but that he'd find out. A couple of minutes later I received a call from the technician himself. The technician said he was "on his way" and should be at my house in 30 minutes at the most. He indicated he'd "had some trouble" that morning, listing off a couple of excuses. I told him that 30 minutes wouldn't be convenient because that would be more than an hour later than our scheduled time, to which he replied, "I told you I had some trouble this morning, sweetheart. Do you want to reschedule?" I let him know that I preferred to cancel since he was (1) very late, (2) didn't call me himself or have his office call to let me know he was running late and (3) condescendingly called me "sweetheart.
